3. Maintenance of Leaf 1
3.1 Inner panel
Remove the front panel and the actuator of Leaf 1
by pressing the two snap-on connections on the
side (for easier cleaning).
3.2 G3 filter
Remove the inner panel of Leaf 1 by pressing
the two snap-on connections on the side. You
now have a direct view of the G3 filter of Leaf 1.
Remove it and clean it with a vacuum cleaner
(at a low level and without attachments) or
rinse it under running water. If the filter is too
dirty or defective, it must be replaced.
Replacement filters are available in the Leaf
Shop or through a Leaf specialist partner. After
cleaning, reinsert the filter and replace the front
panel.
Please make sure that the spring contacts are
correctly seated on the mounting frame. We
recommend cleaning or replacing the filter
after a period of 3 months. The expiration of this
interval time is indicated by the unit with 5 long
and 5 short tones.
Clean the panel with a damp microfibre cloth. Do not use aggressive cleaning agents
so as to avoid scratching or damaging the design surface. Any dust deposits on the back
of the panel can be removed with a cloth or vacuum cleaner. When you replace the
panel, make sure that the spring contacts of the actuator are correctly seated. Carry
out cleaning of approx. every 3-4 months.
