Spectra I.R Remote Saftey instructions
IMPORTANT:

•Neverremovewarningorinformativelabelsfromtheequipment.
•Donotopentheequipmentanddonotmodifytheequipment.

Button functions:
The “BLACKOUT” buttonisusedtosettheLED’sintothepoweronoroffmodes.
The “AR”buttonisusedtosettheLED’sintotheautorunmode.
The“S PR”buttonisusedtosettheLED’storunthebuilt-inprogrammes
Built-in programme selection: 7colourselection,colourchangingandcolourfade.
Choosebetweenthe9built-inprogrammesby
pressingthe “+”and“-” buttons.
The“FL”buttonisusedtosettheLED’stoashonandoff,tochangetheashfrequencyuse
the“+”and“-”buttons.
The“SP”buttonisusedtosettherunspeed,thisbuttonisavailableonlyinthecolourchangeor
colourfademodes.Tochangethespeedusethe“+”and“-” buttons.
The “D”buttonisusedtosettheLED’sintoDMXmode.(SeeDMXvaluetable)
The“SA” buttonisusedtosettheLED’sintosoundactivatedmode.Thisfunctionis
unavailableontheExteriorSpectraSeries.
The“SL”buttonisusedtosettheLED’sintoslavemode.
The“S”, “0”, “1”, “2”, “3”, “4”, “5”, “6”, “7”, “8”and“9”buttonsareusedtosettheDMX
addressfortheLED’s.(seeexamplebelow)
The“R”,“G”,and“B”buttonsareusedtosetthebrightnessfortheLEDs,tochangethe
brightnessusethe“+”and“-”buttons.
DMX Address Examples:
To set the DMX address “245”;
1)Pressthe“S”button,sotheredLED’scomeon,thismeansyoucannowstart
tosettheDMXaddress.
2)Pressthe“2”button,sothegreenLED’scomeon,thismeanstherstdigit
“2”(thehundredsplace)settingissuccessful.
3)NowPressthe “4”button,andtheblueLED’swillcomeon,thisnowmeans
thattheseconddigit“4”(tensplace)settingissuccessful.
4)FinallynowPressthe“5”button,andalloftheR/G/BLED’swillcomeon,this
meansthatthenaldigit“5”(unitsplace)settingissuccessfulandthefull
DMXaddresssettingisnowcomplete.
To set the DMX address “002”;
1)Pressthe“S”button,sotheredLED’scomeon,thismeansyoucannowstart
tosettheDMXaddress.
2)Pressthe“0”button,sothegreenLED’scomeon,thismeanstherstdigit
“0”(thehundredsplace)settingissuccessful.
3)NowPressthe“0”button,andtheblueLED’swillcomeon,thisnowmeans
thattheseconddigit“0”(tensplace)settingissuccessful.
4)FinallynowPressthe“2”button,andalloftheR/G/BLED’swillcomeon,this
meansthatthenaldigit“2”(unitsplace)settingissuccessfulandthefull
DMXaddresssettingisnowcomplete.

Please note: Set the DMX address on each xture before plugging into the DMX
controller.
Please note: The Spectra I.R Remote is not usable when the Spectra Series are being
controlled by a DMX controller
Please note: The maximum transmitter distance is 10M. Please make sure that you have
the I.R remote aimed directly at the xture,
