systemfuseforallcomponents,the

inchesofthebattery.Connectthis
fusedpowerwiretothepositive
terminal.
Useanotherwirefromthepositive
terminaltoyouramplifier(s)positive
supplyterminal.
Thegroundwirefromtheamplifier(s)
shouldbeconnectedtothecapacitor s
negativeterminal.
Asinglewirefromthecapacitor s
negativeterminalshouldbeconnected
toyourvehicle schassisground.

Capacitorsaremosteffective
whenthereisa18”(0.5m)or
lessofwirebetweenthecap
andtheamplifier(s).
Largeelectrolyticcapacitorsdonot
likeheat,oil,grease,water,ormis-
treatment.Ifthecapacitorhousing
isdeformedduringinstallation,
manylayersoffoilmaterialmaybe
damagedinsidethecapacitorandit
shouldnotbeinstalled.Installina
safe,drylocationwithin18”(0.5m)
oftheamplifier.Observecorrect
polarity:positiveterminalismarked
witha(+)symbol,negativeterminal
isnotmarked.Donotblockthevent
plugontopofcap.Ifthecapacitor
iswiredinreverseofmarkingonthe
captoptheelectrolyticfluidinside
thecapacitorwillvent,possibly
causingdamagetotheinteriorof
yourvehicle.

Thesuppliedchargingbulb(included
inthepackage)isusedwheninitially
chargingtheCap.thechargingprocess
isaccomplishedbyconnectingthe
chargingbulbinseriesbetweenthe
battery spositivepostandthe
capacitor spositiveterminal.(plese
refertothediagrambelow).itisvery
importanttofollowthisprocessto
eliminatethepossibilityofdamaging
thecap/battery,andotheraudio
devices.Thechargingprocessis
completewhenthevoltageofthe
capacitorreachesthesamevoltage
asyourvehicle sbattery.Thisprocess
willtakeamatterofsecondsto
complete.Youcanuseavoltagemeter
tocheckthevoltageacrossyour
batteryandcup.whenthevoltages
arethesameonboth(capandbattery),
thecaphasbeenfullycharged.The
chargingbulbactuallyeliminatesthe
needforthevoltmeter,whenthecap
isfullycharged(capandbatteryhave
samevoltage)thebulbwillgoeither
dimorfullyout.
