Assembly Instructions
Sauna Base Preparation
Make sure the base for your sauna is level with a slight slope to the back for drainage.
A solid base for your sauna is recommended and can be made from any of the following.
Concrete Pad Wood Deck
Crushed Stone Patio Stone/Paver Blocks
It is recommended to build a base larger than required to provide a sitting area for cooling
off during your sauna session.

Base Assembly
Start the assembly of your Neptune Sauna by locating
the front and back floor joists.
The front and back joists are the shorter ones with
the notch facing upwards.
Manufactured by:
Place the 2 outside joists with the insulation supports
facing inwards.
Roughly center the 4 middle joists between the
outside joists.
Locate the middle floor joists.
These will be the longer joists.
The 2 for the outside and the 2 for the middle will
have the insulation support on 1side and the
remaining 2 will have the insulation supports on both
sides.
Secure the outside joists to the front and back joists
using 2 –1 ½” (38mm) screws per corner.
Repeat on all 4 corners.

To get the spacing for the middle floor joists, measure
the width of the insulation.
In this case, it will be 19” (48cm).
Manufactured by:
Secure the floor joist to the joist using 2 –1 ½” (38mm)
screws in the pre-drilled holes.
Space out the next floor joists.
These will be the center floor joists and will be 2 joists
back to back.
Ensure the insulation supports are facing inwards to
each side and secure with 2 –1 ½” screws in the pre-
drilled holes.

Transfer this measurement to get the spacing for the
first floor joist.
Base Assembly
Space out the last floor joist and secure in the same
manner as the previous joists.
Manufactured by:
Fasten the floor joists to the back joist using 1 ½”
(38mm) screws in the pre-drilled holes ensuring they
are the same spacing as the front joist.
Place the blocks of foam insulation in between the
joists.
You may need to trim off the end for a proper fit.

Secure the 2 middle floor joists together using 4 –2 ½”
(64mm) screws spaced out evenly from front to back.
Base Assembly
Secure a floorboard across the joists and secure with
a 1 ½” (38mm) screw into each joist.
This is temporary to ensure the joists do not bow
while placing the remaining floorboards and will be
removed later.

For extra support, Secure every third floorboard to
the inside floor joists with staples or finishing nails as
well.
When you get to the middle of the floor, remove the
temporary floorboard that was placed earlier.

Begin placing the floorboards.
Ensure they are flush with the outside edge of the
side joists and inside notch of the front joist.
Ensure the tongues are tight into the grooves and
secure with 1 –1 ½” (38mm) screw on the outside
joists only.
Base Assembly
Once you get to 48” (122cm) from the rear of the
sauna, place a screw in the floorboards where each of
the joists are as they will be hidden by the benches.
Manufactured by:
Do not fasten the last 3 floorboards to make it easier
as you place the last smaller floorboard in to finish.
You may use a rubber mallet to tap it into place.
Once the last floorboard is in the proper placement,
secure each of the unscrewed floorboards with a 1 ½”
(38mm) screw into each joist.

Secure the floorboards from this point to each floor
joist with a 1 ½” (38mm) screw.
Base Assembly
To start the assembly of the walls, bring a wide panel
and place it on the back corner on the side of the
sauna.
Manufactured by:
Place a narrow wall panel onto the back of the sauna
and ensure it is flush to the base and the side wall
panel.
Ensure it is flush to the back edge of the floor and
secure with 2 –3 ½” (89mm) screws into the back
floor joist and 4 –2 ½” (64mm) screws into the other
wall panel.

Ensure it is flush to the edge of the floor and secure
with 3 –3 ½” (89mm) screws into the outside floor
joist.
Wall Assembly
Repeat the process for 2 more narrow panels on the
back wall ensuring they are flush to the back of the
floor and to the previous panel.
Manufactured by:
Repeat with another wide panel securing it to the
floor and the previous wall panel.
Repeat with 2 more narrow panels to finish the side
wall ensuring the panels are flush to the edge of the
floor securing with 2 –3 ½” (89mm) screws into the
outer floor joist and 4 –2 ½” (64mm) screws into the
previous wall panel.

Place a wide panel onto the other side of the sauna.
Ensure it is flush to the edge of the floor and secure
with 3 –3 ½” (89mm) screws into the outside floor
joist and 4 –2 ½” (64mm) screws into the back wall
panel.
Wall Assembly
At this point, you will have the floor, the side and back
wall on one side and the wide panel on the opposite
wall installed.
Manufactured by:
Place the door panel.
Ensure it is flush on the inside and the hinges are on
the outside.
Secure with 4 –2 ½” (64mm) screws through the
previous wall panel into the door panel.
Install the last narrow next to the door and secure to
the door panel with 4 –2 ½” (64mm) screws.

Place a wide panel onto the other side of the sauna.
Ensure it is flush to the edge of the floor and secure
with 3 –3 ½” (89mm) screws into the outside floor
joist and 4 –2 ½” (64mm) screws into the first wall
panel.
Wall Assembly
WARNING: The Front Glass Panel is Heavy.
Use the Provided Panel Handling lifting devices and
ensure you have at least to people to carry the panel!
Manufactured by:
Install the panel rigger bracket onto the bottom sides
of the window panel with the provided screws.
The lip of the panel rigger should be tight to the
bottom side of the panel.
Slide the dowel through the hole in the rigger so it is
even on both sides.

Locate the wall panel handling rigger set.
This will include 2 aluminum lifting riggers and 2
pieces of 2” (51mm) dowel.
Front Window Installation
Manufactured by:
Insert the front window panel and ensure it is flush to
the front of the floor and the side wall panels.
Use a rubber mallet to finesse widow until it is flush
by tapping on the wood of the panel. (if needed)

When you get the glass panel close to the front wall
you can remove the riggers.
Front Window Installation
Carefully carry the glass panel to the front of the
sauna.
Manufactured by:
Repeat on the opposite side.
Once the front window is installed, secure the narrow
panel on either side of the glass panel with 2 - 3 ½”
(89mm) screws to the outside floor joists.

Secure the glass panel to the side wall panel with the
provided lag screws ensuring the glass panel is flush.
Front Window Installation
Use a 5/32” drill bit to predrill holes into the wall
panels.

Front Window Installation
secure the front glass panel with 4 - 2 ½” (64mm)
screws to the front floor joist.

Repeat for the side wall panels ensuring the roof
panel is flush to the side walls.
Repeat the above steps for the 2nd roof panel.
Ensure the insulation blocks are already installed in
the roof panels

Use a 5/32” drill bit to predrill 2 holes from the glass
panel into the roof panel.
Secure with 3 ½” (89mm) screws.
Roof Assembly
Slide the first roof panel onto the top of the sauna
ensuring it is flush to the front and side panels.
Manufactured by:
Repeat for the second sheet of plywood.
Repeat for the last smaller sheet of plywood.

Ensure the plywood is flush to the front and sides of
the sauna and secure with 1 ¼” (32mm) screws or
staples.
Roof Assembly
Place the first sheet of plywood onto the roof of the
sauna.
Manufactured by:
Ensure it is 1” above the bottom of the top wall panel
stud.
Secure the nosing to the roof panels with 9 –2 ½”
(64mm) screws.

Place one of the top side nosing pieces
Roof Assembly
On the back wall of the sauna, locate the location of
the studs in the roof panels by where the screws are.
Secure the back wall panels to the studs with 3 ½”
(89mm) screws.
Manufactured by:
Staple the membrane to the front and side nosings
pulling it tight as you staple.
At the back of the sauna pull the membrane tight and
secure with staples to the underside of the wall
panels.
Cut off the excess membrane even with the nosing
pieces and adding more staples as needed to get a
tight fit.

Spread the rubber membrane out evenly over the
roof of the sauna allowing it to drape over the sides.
Roof Assembly
Repeat with the front nosing piece ensuring it is flush
to the edge of the side nosing.
Secure the front nosing with 7 –2 ½” (64mm) screws.
Repeat for the opposite side nosing piece.
Manufactured by:
Fasten the trim to the nosing using 9 of the provided
black screws.
For a cleaner look, place the screws on the top and
bottom edges of the metal trim as in picture.
Place a side metal trim piece over the side nosing and
secure with 6 black screws on the top and 3 centered
on the bottom of the metal trim.
Repeat on opposite side.

To start the installation of the metal trim, place the
front metal trim piece over the front nosing.
Siding & Trim Installation
Start placing the insulation blocks into the wall panels.
