Charging the internal battery
Before rst use, the battery must be fully
charged (4 to 4½ hours).
Use the cable supplied to connect the
miniUSB connector to the USB port of a
computer or to an optional USB power
adapter.
The charge indicator lights up. It will
go out when the charging process is
complete.

Inserting your iPad into the frame
1. Unfold the keyboard case completely.
2. Pull the tablet security tab out from
the frame.
3. Insert your iPad from above into the
frame. Align the ON/OFF switch and
the cameras of your iPad with the cor-
responding holes so that they remain
accessible.
4. Tuck the security tab in behind the
iPad.
Pairing the keyboard with your iPad
1. Switch your iPad on.
2. Slide the ON/OFF switch to the ON
position.
Both the power indicator and Blue-
tooth indicator light up and then go
off again.
3. Press the Connect button on the key-
board.
The power indicator lights up and the
Bluetooth indicator starts blinking.
4. On the iPad: Select „Settings“ >
„General“ > „Bluetooth“ and turn on
Bluetooth, then select „Bluetooth Key-
board Case“.
5. When prompted, type in the Bluetooth
password of your iPad and press
„Enter“ using the keyboard.
Once the connection is established,
the Bluetooth indicator lights steadily.
The keyboard is now paired with the
iPad and ready for use. If you are no
longer using the keyboard, turn it off.

Reconnection
If your iPad was in standby mode After turning off the iPad it may be necessary to
pair the two devices again.
Power saving mode
The keyboard automatically enters power saving mode after 15 minutes of inactivity.
Press any key to reactivate it.
Troubleshooting
Note: The keyboard attempts to restore the connection with the last paired device. To
connect to a different device paired earlier, pair that device again.
Issue Solution
The Bluetooth connection
is lost.
The range may be exceeded. Move both devices closer together
again. Turn the keyboard off an back on. The connection should
be re-established.
Make sure that no other Bluetooth devices, wireless devices or
other devices which may interfere with the connection are on in
the area. Switch off such devices as necessary.

USB-Anschluss eines Computers oder
mit einem USB-Netzadapter.
Die Ladeanzeige leuchtet auf. Sie
erlischt, wenn der Ladevorgang beendet

Das iPad in den Halterahmen einführen
1. Falten Sie die Tasche vollständig aus-
einander.
2. Ziehen Sie die Schutzlasche oben aus
dem Halterahmen heraus.
3. Führen Sie Ihr iPad von oben in den
Halterahmen ein. Damit der Ein-/
Ausschalter und die Kameras des
iPad zugänglich bleiben, richten Sie
diese an den entsprechenden Ausspa-
rungen des Halterahmens aus.
4. Schieben Sie die Schutzlasche hinter
das iPad.
Die Tastatur mit Ihrem iPad koppeln
1. Schalten Sie Ihr iPad ein.
2. Schieben Sie den Ein-/Ausschalter
der Tastatur in die Stellung ON.
Die Betriebsanzeige und die Blue-
tooth-Anzeige leuchten kurz auf und
erlöschen dann wieder.
3. Drücken Sie auf die Verbindungstaste
an der Tastatur.
Die Betriebsanzeige leuchtet auf und
die Bluetooth-Anzeige beginnt zu
blinken.
4. Auf dem iPad: Wählen Sie „Einstel-
lungen“ > „Allgemein“ > „Bluetooth“
und aktivieren Sie Bluetooth, und
wählen Sie „Bluetooth Keyboard
Case“ aus.
5. Sobald Sie dazu aufgefordert werden,
geben Sie das Bluetooth-Passwort
Ihres iPad über die Tastatur ein und
drücken Sie auf „Enter“.
Sobald die Verbindung hergestellt
ist, leuchtet die Bluetooth-Anzeige
stetig. Die Tastatur ist nun mit dem
iPad gekoppelt und kann verwendet
werden. Wenn Sie sie nicht mehr
benutzen, schalten Sie die Tastatur
aus.

Erneute Verbindung
Wenn Ihr iPad in den Ruhezustand geht, sollte die Verbindung mit der Tastatur
bestehen bleiben. Nach dem Ausschalten des iPad müssen Sie beide Geräte mögli-
cherweise erneut koppeln.
Stromsparmodus
Die Tastatur geht nach 15 Minuten Inaktivität automatisch in den Stromsparmodus.
Drücken Sie eine beliebige Taste, um sie wieder zu aktivieren.
Problembehebung
Hinweis: Die Tastatur versucht die Verbindung mit dem zuletzt gekoppelten Gerät
wiederherzustellen. Um die Verbindung mit einem anderen, früher gekoppelten
Gerät wiederherzustellen, koppeln Sie die Geräte erneut.
Problem Lösung
Die Bluetooth-Verbindung
bricht ab.
Möglicherweise ist die Reichweite überschritten. Bringen Sie
beide Geräte wieder näher zusammen. Schalten Sie die Tastatur
aus und wieder ein. Die Verbindung sollte wiederhergestellt
werden.
Stellen Sie sicher, dass sich keine weiteren Bluetooth-Geräte,
Funkgeräte oder andere Geräte in der Nähe benden, die die
Verbindung stören könnten. Schalten Sie solche Geräte bei
Bedarf aus.

Insérez votre iPad dans le cadre
1. Dépliez complètement la housse du
clavier.
2. Tirez la languette de sécurité hors du
cadre.
3. Insérez votre iPad dans le cadre par le
haut. Alignez le bouton ON/OFF et les
appareils-photos de votre iPad avec
les trous correspondants an qu’ils
restent accessibles.
4. Rentrez la languette de sécurité der-
rière l’iPad.
Jumelage du clavier avec votre iPad
1. Allumez votre iPad.
2. Faites glisser le bouton ON/OFF en
position ON.
Le voyant d’alimentation et le voyant
Bluetooth s’allument puis s’éteignent.
3. Appuyez sur le bouton Connect du
clavier.
L’indicateur d’alimentation s’allume
et l’indicateur Bluetooth se met à
clignoter.
4. Sur l’iPad : Sélectionnez « Settings»
> «General » > «Bluetooth» et activez
le Bluetooth, puis sélectionnez « Blue-
tooth Keyboard Case ».
5. Lorsque vous y êtes invité, saisissez
le mot de passe Bluetooth de votre
iPad et appuyez sur la touche «Enter»
du clavier.
Une fois la connexion établie, le
voyant Bluetooth restera allumé de
xement. Le clavier est désormais
jumelé avec l’iPad et prêt à l’emploi.
Si vous n’utilisez plus le clavier, étei-
gnez-le.

Reconnexion
Si votre iPad est en mode veille, après l’avoir éteint, il pourrait être nécessaire de
devoir jumeler à nouveau les deux appareils.
Mode d’économie d’énergie
Le clavier passe automatiquement en mode économie d’énergie après 15 minutes
d’inactivité. Appuyez sur n’importe quelle touche pour le réactiver.
Dépannage
Remarque : Le clavier tente de rétablir la connexion avec le dernier appareil jumelé.
Pour la connexion à un autre appareil déjà couplé, réeffectuez le couplage à cet
appareil.
Problème Solution
La connexion Bluetooth
est perdue.
La portée est peut-être dépassée. Rapprochez les deux
appareils. Éteignez le clavier et rallumez-le. La connexion devrait
être rétablie.
Vériez qu’aucun autre appareil Bluetooth, ou autre appareil
sans l ou tout autre dispositif qui peut interférer avec la
