or paint thinner. Use a damp cloth for
cleaning.
Charging the internal battery
Before rst use, the battery must be fully
charged (4 to 4½ hours).
Use the cable supplied to connect the
miniUSB connector to the USB port of a
computer or to an optional USB power
adapter.
The charge indicator lights up. It will
go out when the charging process is
complete.

Inserting your iPad into the frame
1. Unfold the keyboard case completely.
2. Pull the tablet security tab out from
the frame.
3. Insert your iPad from above into the
frame. Align the ON/OFF switch and
the cameras of your iPad with the cor-
responding holes so that they remain
accessible.
4. Tuck the security tab in behind the
iPad.
Pairing the keyboard with your iPad
1. Switch your iPad on.
2. Slide the ON/OFF switch to the ON
position.
Both the power indicator and Blue-
tooth indicator light up and then go
off again.
3. Press the Connect button on the key-
board.
The power indicator lights up and the
Bluetooth indicator starts blinking.
4. On the iPad: Select „Settings“ >
„General“ > „Bluetooth“ and turn on
Bluetooth, then select „Bluetooth Key-
board Case“.
5. When prompted, type in the Bluetooth
password of your iPad and press
„Enter“ using the keyboard.
Once the connection is established,
the Bluetooth indicator lights steadily.
The keyboard is now paired with the
iPad and ready for use. If you are no
longer using the keyboard, turn it off.

Reconnection
If your iPad was in standby mode After turning off the iPad it may be necessary to
pair the two devices again.
Power saving mode
The keyboard automatically enters power saving mode after 15 minutes of inactivity.
Press any key to reactivate it.
Troubleshooting
Note: The keyboard attempts to restore the connection with the last paired device. To
connect to a different device paired earlier, pair that device again.
Issue Solution
The Bluetooth connection
is lost.
The range may be exceeded. Move both devices closer together
again. Turn the keyboard off an back on. The connection should
be re-established.
Make sure that no other Bluetooth devices, wireless devices or
other devices which may interfere with the connection are on in
the area. Switch off such devices as necessary.
