Tuning a RADIO Station
1. Press the FUNCTION button repeatedly
until “TUNER” is shown.
2. Press the BAND / FOLDER button to
selectthedesiredfrequencyband(FMorAM).
3. Press the F - SKIP or B - SKIP
buttonasmanytimesasrequiredto
tune into the desired station.
4. Press and hold the F - SKIP or B - SKIP
button for more than 1 second ,
scanningstartsautomaticallyandthetunerwillstop
attherstreceivablebroadcaststation.
5. Tostopautotuning,presstheF-SKIP
orB-SKIPbuttonagain.

ADJUSTING THE SOUND
Press volume +/- to adjust the volume level.
FOR PRIVATE LISTENING
Plug headphones (ø3.5 mm stereo mini-plug) into the
PHONES jack. When headphones are plugged in, the
speakers will automatically be disconnected.
VOLUME
PressthePOWER/STANDBYbuttontoturntheaudioon.Tochangetheaudiomodebetween,
CD , UDISK , SD/MMC , IPOD , AUX and TUNER, press the FUNCTION button while the power is on.
The audio mode will be displayed.
Power will be cut off automatically when the CD, MP3 and USB functions are in stop mode for
15 minutes.
TURN ON / OFF THE SYSTEM
Selecting FM Stereo/Mono mode
1. To select FM stereo/mono mode, press the STEREO/
MONO button on the remote control.
2. The “STEREO” icon will be on when the received
station is broadcasted
in Stereo.
3. To select mono mode, press STEREO / MONO button
again.
4. The “STEREO” icon will never turn on in FM MONO
mode.

1. Tune to a desired radio station.
2. PressthePROGRAM/MEMORY/CLK-ADJ.buttontoentertuningsavingmode.
The “MEMORY” icon will be on.
3. Programnumber“01”willbeashingonthelefthandside.
4. Within 10 seconds, press the RANDOM/P- or REPEAT/P+ button to select the
desiredprogramnumber.
5. PressthePROGRAM/MEMORY/CLK-ADJ.buttontoconrm.
6. Ifthereisnobuttonpressedwithin10seconds,itwillexittuningsavemodeandthe
“MEMORY” icon will be off.
TO SKIP TO THE BEGINNING OF A TRACK
• Presseitheroneoftheskipbuttonsaccordingtothedesiredskipdirection.
• Play/back resumes from the selected track.
• Whenthebuttonispressedtwiceduringplayback,theprevioustrackwillstartagain.
• Whenthebuttonispressedonceduringplayback,thenexttrackwillbeplayed.

4. Close the CD door, the disc will rotate.
For CD : The total tracks of the disc will show on the
display.
For MP3/WMA/USB : The total tracks of the disc and
the total number of the folders will be shown on the
display.

SEARCHING FOR A PASSAGE WITHIN A TRACK

recognisethedesiredpassage.ThenthenormalCDplaybackwillresumefromthispoint.
PLAYING TRACKS IN RANDOM ORDER
1. If the RANDOM / P - button is pressed, the tracks on the discs are not playedRANDOM / P - button is pressed, the tracks on the discs are not playedis pressed, the tracks on the discs are not played
in consecutive order but in random order. The word RAND appears on the display to provide
a visual reminder that the RAND function has been activated.

An external (auxiliary) audio source (i.e., personal CD player
or MP3 player) can be connected to this unit and heard
throughthespeakers.

1. Only the universal dock adaptor no. “1”. “2”,… “7” are supplied in this unit and they can be installed in this unit
universal dock.

3. Various iPod models can vary in control by SCDI-01.
Listen to iPod ( Controlled by unit ) :
1. With the correct iPod universal dock adaptor installed,
gentlydocktheiPod (without the protective cover) into
theunit'suniversaldock.
2. When docked, the Internal iPodbatterywillbecharged
untilitisfullycharged.
3. Press the FUNCTION button to select iPod mode and the
songwillbeplayedautomatically.
4. Press the PLAY / PAUSE / I - POD PLAY button to
playback the music." I - POD " will be shown on the display.
5. Press the B - SKIP / I - POD OR F - SKIP /
I - POD buttontoselectthenextorprevioussong.
6. Press the VOLUME + / - button to adjust the volume level.
