PRECAUTIONS BEFORE USE
KEEP THESE INSTRUCTIONS IN MIND:
1. Do not cover or block any ventilation openings. When placing the device on a shelf, leave 5 cm (2”) free space around the
whole device.
2. Install in accordance with the supplied user manual.
3. Keep the device away from heat sources such as radiators, heaters, stoves, candles and other heat-generating products or
naked ame. The device can only be used in moderate climates. Extremely cold or warm environments should be avoided.
Working temperature between 0° and 35°C.
4. Avoid using the device near strong magnetic elds.
5. Electrostatic discharge can disturb normal usage of this device. If so, simply reset and restart the device following the
instruction manual. During le transmission, please handle with care and operate in a static-free environment.
6. Warning! Never insert an object into the product through the vents or openings. High voltage ows through the product and
inserting an object can cause electric shock and/or short circuit internal parts. For the same reason, do not spill water or
liquid on the product.
7. Do not use in wet or moist areas such as bathrooms, steamy kitchens or near swimming pools.
8. The device shall not be exposed to dripping or splashing and make sure that no objects lled with liquids, such as vases,
are placed on or near the apparatus.
9. Do not use this device when condensation may occur. When the unit is used in a warm wet room with damp, water droplets
or condensation may occur inside the unit and the unit may not function properly; let the unit stand in power OFF for 1 or 2
hours before turning on the power: the unit should be dry before getting any power.
10.Although this device is manufactured with the utmost care and checked several times before leaving the factory, it is still
possible that problems may occur, as with all electrical appliances. If you notice smoke, an excessive build-up of heat or
any other unexpected phenomena, you should disconnect the plug from the main power socket immediately.
11.This device must operate on a power source as specied on the specication label. If you are not sure of the type of power
supply used in your home, consult your dealer or local power company.
12.Keep away from animals. Some animals enjoy biting on power cords.
13.To clean the device, use a soft dry cloth. Do not use solvents or petrol based uids. To remove severe stains, you may use
a damp cloth with dilute detergent.
14.The supplier is not responsible for damage or lost data caused by malfunction, misuse, modication of the device or battery
replacement.
15.Do not interrupt the connection when the device is formatting or transferring les. Otherwise, data may be corrupted or lost.
16.If the unit has USB playback function, the USB memory stick should be plugged into the unit directly. Don't use an USB
extension cable because it can cause interference resulting in failing of data.
17.The rating label has been marked on the bottom or back panel of the device.
18.This device is not intended for use by people (including children) with physical, sensory or mental disabilities, or a lack of
experience and knowledge, unless they're under supervision or have received instructions about the correct use of the
device by the person who is responsible for their safety.
19.This product is intended for non professional use only and not for commercial or industrial use.
20.Make sure the unit is adjusted to a stable position. Damage caused by using this product in an unstable position
vibrations or shocks or by failure to follow any other warning or precaution contained within this user manual will not be
covered by warranty..
21.Never remove the casing of this device.
22.Never place this device on other electrical equipment.

23.Do not allow children access to plastic bags.

such as the power supply cord or the plug, when liquid has been spilled or objects have fallen into the device, when the
device has been exposed to rain or moisture, does not operate normally, or has been dropped.
26.Long exposure to loud sounds from personal music players may lead to temporary or permanent hearing loss
27.If the product is delivered with power cable or AC power adaptor:
If any trouble occur, disconnect the AC power cord and refer servicing to qualied personnel.
Don't step on or pinch the power adaptor. Be very careful, particularly near the plugs and the cable's exit point. Do not
place heavy items on the power adaptor, which may damage it. Keep the entire device out of children's reach! When
playing with the power cable, they can seriously injure themselves.
Unplug this device during lightning storms or when unused for a long period.
The socket outlet must be installed near the equipment and must be easily accessible.
Do not overload ac outlets or extension cords. Overloading can cause re or electric shock.
Devices with class 1 construction should be connected to a main socket outlet with a protective earthed connection.
Devices with class 2 construction do not require a earthed connection.
Always hold the plug when pulling it out of the main supply socket. Do not pull the power cord. This can cause a short
circuit.Do not use a damaged power cord or plug or a loose outlet. Doing so may result in re or electric shock.
28.If the product contains or is delivered with a remote control containing coin/cell batteries:
Warning: “Do not ingest battery, Chemical Burn Hazard” or equivalent working.
[The remote control supplied with] This product contains a coin/button cell battery. If the battery is swallowed, it can
cause severe internal burns in just 2 hours and can lead to death.
Keep new and used batteries away from children.
If the battery compartment does not close securely, stop using the product and keep it away from children.
If you think batteries might have been swallowed or placed inside any part of the body, seek immediate medical attention.
29.Caution about the use of Batteries:
Danger of explosion if battery is incorrectly replaced. Replace only with the same or equivalent type.
Battery cannot be subjected to high or low extreme temperatures, low air pressure at high altitude during use, storage or
transportation.
Replacement of a battery with an incorrect type that can result in an explosion or the leakage of ammable liquid or gas.
Disposal of a battery into re or a hot oven, or mechanically crushing or cutting of a battery, that can result in an explosion.
Leaving a battery in an extremely high temperature surrounding environment that can result in an explosion or that
leakage of ammable liquid or gas.
A battery subjected to extremely low air pressure that may result in an explosion or the leakage of ammable liquid or gas.
Attention should be drawn to the environmental aspects of battery disposal.

Unpack all parts and remove protective material.
Do not connect the unit to the mains before checking the mains voltage and before all other connections have been made.

POWER SUPPLY
USING HOUSE CURRENT
Before use, check that the rated voltage of your unit matches
your local voltage.
Note: The plug is used to disconnect the device. The
disconnected device shall remain readily operable.
USING BATTERIES
Disconnect the AC power cord from the AC inlet of the
unit. Battery power is cut automatically by the cord while
it is connected.
Insert 6 UM-2
( size C ) batteries.

When the volume decrease, or the sound distorts, replace
all of the batteries with new ones.

TURNING ON / OFF THE UNIT

Connect the device , Set the POWER switch to the ON position,
LENCO SCD-6000 will be displayed for a few seconds. Please wait.
Then the clock and date will be shown.
Press the STANDBY button unit it will then enter STANDBY mode,
display will show the Time / Date.The rst time you listen to DAB radio,
the time and date of your device will synchronise automatically.
ADJUSTING THE SOUND
TO ADJUST THE VOLUME FOR PRIVATE LISTENING
Plug in headphones (ø3.5 mm stereo mini-plug) to the
HEADPHONE jack.
When headphones are plugged in, the speakers are
automatically disconnected.

INTERNET RADIO, PODCASTS, DAB, FM , CD, BT, AUX ,.
To turn o the unit by sliding the POWER switch to OFF position.

SETTING THE TIME AND DATE
1. Long press the MENU/INFO button at power on mode,
Turn the TUNING button backward or forward to select " System settings". Press the SELECT button to conrm it.
2. Turn the TUNING button backward or forward to select " Time/Date".
Press the SELECT button to conrm it.
3. Turn the TUNING button backward or forward to select " Set Time/Date".
Press the SELECT button to conrm it.
4.The date digit ash on the display.Turn the TUNING button backward or
forward to adjust date digit. Press the SELECT button to conrm it.
5. The month digit ash on the display. Turn the TUNING button backward or
forward to adjust month digit. Press the SELECT button to conrm it.
6. The year digit ash on the display. Turn the TUNING button backward or
forward to adjust year digit. Press the SELECT button to conrm it.
7. The hour digit ash on the display. Turn the TUNING button backward or backward or forward to adjust hour digit.
Press the SELECT button to conrm it .
8.The minute digit ash on the display. Turn the TUNING button backward or backward or forward to adjust minute
digit.Press the SELECT button to conrm it ,
9. Press the STANDBY button to show the correct time and date on the display.
- Note: When do the setting in the menu, press the MENU button to return back to previous step.

SETTING THE ALARM / THE ALARM MODE AND SNOOZE
1. Press the STANDY button and then long press the MENU/INFO button.
2. Turn the TUNING button backward or forward to select "Main menu ". Press the SELECT button to conrm it.
3. Turn the TUNING button backward or forward to select "Alarms". Press the SELECT button to conrm it.
4. Turn the TUNING button backward or forward to select "Alarm 1". Press the SELECT button to conrm it.
5. Turn the TUNING button backward or forward to select " Enable". Press the SELECT button to conrm it.
6. Turn the TUNING button backward or forward to select " Daily". Press the SELECT button to conrm it.
7. Turn the TUNING button backward or forward to select " Time".Press the SELECT button to conrm it.
8. The hour digit ash on the display.Turn the TUNING button backward or forward to adjust hour digit.
Press the SELECT button to conrm it
9. The minute digit ash on the display.Turn the TUNING button backward or forward to adjust minute digit.
Press the SELECT button to conrm it.
10.Turn the TUNING button backward or forward to " Save". Press the SELECT button to conrm it.
The " Alarm Saved " is shown on the display.
12. Same procedure applies for Alarm 2 .
13. Press STANDBY button, 2 ALARM CLOCK indicators
are shown on the display.
SNOOZE ( REPEAT ALARM )
When the alarm sounds at the preset time, you can turn o the sounds temporarily by pressing the STANDBY button.
Turn the VOLUME button backward or forward to select the snooze time 5,10,15,30 minutes.
The ALARM CLOCK indicators are blinking on the display and count the time backwards.
TO STOP ALARM
1. Press the STANDY button and then long press the MENU/INFO button.
2. Turn the TUNING button backward or forward to select "Main menu". Press the SELECT button to conrm it.
3. Turn the TUNING button backward or forward to select "Alarms ". Press the SELECT button to conrm it.
4. Turn the TUNING button backward or forward to select "Alarm 1". Press the SELECT button to conrm it.
5. Turn the TUNING button backward or forward to select " Enable". Press the SELECT button to conrm it.
6. Turn the TUNING button backward or forward to select " O" Press the SELECT button to conrm it.
7. Turn the TUNING button backward or forward to select " Save" Press the SELECT button to conrm it.
The " Alarm Saved " is shown on the display.
8. Same procedure applies for Alarm 2 .
9. Press STANDBY button, 2 ALARM CLOCK indicators are disappered on the display.

CONNECTION TO A NETWORK
1. Long press the MENU/INFO button at power on mode,
Turn the TUNING button backward or forward to select " System settings". Press the SELECT button to conrm it.
2. Turn the TUNING button backward or forward to select " Network" and enter to Network Setting mode.
There are several dierent settings can be selected by Turning the TUNING button backward or forward
such as :
- Network wizard
- PBC Wlan setup
- View settings
- Manual Settings
- Netremote PIN Setup
- Network prole
- Clear network settings
- Keep network connected
LANGUAGE
1. Select a language for the internet radio menu, Long press the MENU/INFO button at power on mode,
Turn the TUNING button backward or forward to select " System settings". Press the SELECT button to conrm it.
2. Turn the TUNING button backward or forward to select " Language".Press the SELECT button to conrm it.
There are several languages can be selected 'by Turning the TUNING button backward or forward such as :
English, Dansk, Nederlands, Suomi, Francais, Deutsch, Italiano, Norsk, Polski, Portugues, Espanol,Svenska,
Turkce.
EQUALIZER
1. Long press the MENU/INFO button at power on mode,
Turn the TUNING button backward or forward to select " System settings". Press the SELECT button to conrm it.
2. Turn the TUNING button backward or forward to select " Equalizer".
Default equalizer is Normal, you may change to Flat, Jazz, Rock, Movie, Classic, Pop, News , My EQ and
My EQ prole setup: Bass/ Treble/ Loudess.
LISTENING TO DAB/DAB+ RADIO
1. Press the MODE button, turn the TUNING button backward or forward toto select DAB mode.
The radio will start automatic scan for DAB stations if it’s the rst time to use the unit.
The display will change to “Scanning…”. A progress bar will show the progress of
the scan and the number of stations found during the scan will also be displayed.
2. When the scan is complete, the radio will select the rst available station and begin
to broadcast. Stations are listed in numerical and then alphabetical order by default.
Note: When the DAB/DAB+ radio station list is stored, it will not search automatically again. Press and hold
SCAN button to search and list station.
3. Press the SELECT button to select the stations in the list.
4. When the desired station is displayed, press the SELECT button to conrm. There will be a short delay while
your radio tunes to your selected station.
Note:
- If no broadcasts are found by DAB/DAB+ scan, “No stations found” appears in the display.
- For a better reception, extend the telescopic antenna or do the full scan again in another place.
- During the search operation, the sound level is automatically muted.

LISTENING TO FM RADIO
Press the MODE button,
turn the TUNING button backward or forward to select FM radio mode.
Note: For a better reception, extend the telescopic antenna.
This unit can store 10 FM and 10 DAB/DAB+ stations.
1.Press MODE button,turn the TUNING button backward or forward to select FM or DAB/DAB+ band.
2.Turn the TUNING button backward or forward to select adjust the radio frequency.
3. Long press the PRESET 1 button to conrm the radio station is stored.
4. Turn the TUNING button backward or forward to select adjust another radio frequency.
5. Long press the PRESET 2 button to conrm the radio station is stored.
6. Turn the TUNING button backward or forward to select adjust another radio frequency.
7. Long press the PRESET 3 button to conrm the radio station is stored.
8. Turn the TUNING button backward or forward to select adjust another radio frequency.
9. Long press the PRESET 4 button to conrm the radio station is stored.
10. Turn the TUNING button backward or forward to select adjust another radio frequency.
11. Long press the PRESET 5 button to conrm the radio station is stored.
Listening to preset stations by short pressing the PRESET 1-5 button.
Or press the PRESET button to enter the PRESET RECALL state.
In order to save presets 6-10 press and hold the PRESET button, then scroll to the preferred number.
Press select to conrm.
Turn the TUNING button forward and backward to recall a preset radio station.
Note: If you choose a station that hasn’t been allocated, “Empty” will be displayed. If the station has been
allocated before, the FM frequency or DAB station name will be showed.
PRESET STATIONS

LISTENING TO CD
1. Press the MODE button , Turn the TUNING button backward or forward to select CD mode.
2. Open the CD door by gently pulling up the CD door. Insert a disc with the label side
facing up. Close the CD door.
3. Short press the PLAY/PAUSE button to play the CD , press the PLAY/PAUSE
button again to resume playback .
4. Then turn the TUNING button backward or forward to select desired track.
Then normal CD playback will resume from this track.
5. Short press the STOP button to stop CD playing.
REPEAT PLAYBACK
This function allows a single track or all tracks on a disc to be played repeatedly.
1. Press the REPEAT button once during playback to repeat the same track. The display show
2. Press the REPEAT button twice to repeat the whole disc.The display show
3. Press the REPEAT button again to turn on random play.

4. Press the REPEAT button again to cancel repeat and random play.

PROGRAM PLAYBACK
Programmed playback enables tracks on a disc to be played in the desired order.
Up to 20 tracks can be programmed.
1. Press the PRESET button, the display show " P01..."
2. Turn the TUNING button backward or forward to select the desired track number.
3. Press the PRESET button again to memorize the track.
4. Repeat steps 2 and 3 until all desired tracks are programmed.
5. Press the PLAY/PAUSE button to start.
6. Press the STOP button to stop programmed playback.
7. Open the CD door, turn o the CD player or press the STOP button twice to clear the programmed memory.
Note : Programming can only be made when the player is in CD stop mode.
BLUETOOTH OPERATION
- Next time you switch on the unit, the device connects to the last paried device automatically.
- The music streaming may be interrupted by obstacles between the device and the unit, such as walls, or
other devices nearby that operate in the same frequency.
1. Press the MODE button, turn the TUNING button backward or forward to select BLUETOOTH mode.
2. Press the PAIR button and search for LENCO SCD-6000.
3. Paring the Name with mobile phone Bluetooth. Click to connect.
4. Press the PLAY/PAUSE button to play the song.
Press the PLAY/PAUSE button to disconnect the current connection.
Re-search for a new device.
LISTENING TO INTERNET RADIO
Press the MODE button, turn the TUNING button backward or forward to select Internet Radio mode.
To listen to internet radio, turn the TUNING button backward or forward to
select INTERNET RADIO in the main menu and conrm by pressing the SELECT button.
SELECTING RADIO SERVICE
Select STATION LIST to select from the following services:
- REGION: Under REGION, you can display all stations mapped to the region
(in this case: GERMANY) in which the internet radio has accessed the internet.
- SEARCH : Select SEARCH to search for internet radio stations by name
- LOCATION : Select COUNTRY to search for internet radio stations by country
- POPULAR : Select internet radio stations from a list of popular stations
- DISCOVER : Select internet radio stations by origin, genre or language.
STORING INTERNET RADIO STATION
You can save internet radio stations to a memory slot. The internet radio "has 10 memory slots.
Once a station has been saved to a memory slot, the station’s memory slot is shown on the display next
to a star during playback.
Select a radio station that you want to save as a favourite.
Turn the TUNING button backward or forward until the list of memory slots is shown on the display.
Select a memory slot from 1 to 10. Conrm by pressing the SELECT button.The radio station has been stored.
To call up the radio station again, press the PRESET button to the station from the list.
Turn the TUNING button backward or forward to select the radio station.
Press the SELECT button to play the radio station.
The rst ve saved radio stations can be called up directly by briey
pressing the PRESET buttons 1–5 .

Press the MODE button, turn the TUNING button backward or forward to select Podcasts mode.
To listen to podcasts, turn the TUNING button backward or forward to
select PODCASTS in the main menu and conrm by pressing the SELECT button.
SELECTING PODCASTS
Select PODCASTS to select from the following services :
- GERMANY: Under GERMANY you can display all podcasts mapped to the region
(in this case: GERMANY) in which the internet radio has accessed the internet
- SEARCH : You can search for podcasts by name under SEARCH
- LOCATION : Select COUNTRY to search for podcasts by country
- DISCOVER : Select podcasts by origin, genre or language.
LISTENING TO PODCASTS
CONNECTING TO AN INTERNET RADIO STATION / PODCASTS
Once you have selected a station/podcast as described, the radio is connected to
the internet radio server. The following information is shown on the display:
• Radio station name
• Time
• Additional information about the radio station
• Buer display (displayed briey when the station/podcast is being loaded)
Pressing the INFO button to brings up additional information:
• Keyword and description of the station
• Language and location
SLEEP FUNCTION
Long press the SLEEP button when not in standby mode to enter the sleep setting.
Turn the TUNING button backward or forward to select the sleep time 15,30,45,60 minutes,Sleep OFF.

To turn o the SLEEP function,
Long press the SLEEP button, turn the TUNING button backward or forward to "Sleep OFF" mode.

AUX. IN
An external (auxiliary) audio source (i.e., personal CD player
or MP3 player) can be connected to this unit and heard through the speakers.
1) Plug one end of cable into the AUX IN socket on the unit.
2) Plug the other end of the cable into the Headphone or Line Out socket of the
external source.
3) Press the MODE button, turn the TUNING button backward or forward
to select AUX IN mode..
The display show
Continue to operate CD or MP3 player as usual. Selections will be heard through the unit's speakers.
(Plug other end into external
source such as an MP3 player.)
CLEANING THE UNIT
Do not use volatile chemicals on this unit. Clean by lightly
wiping with a soft cloth.
IMPORTANT NOTE
If an abnormal display indication or an operating problem
occurs, disconnect the AC power cord and remove the
batteries. Wait at least 5 seconds, then reconnect the AC
power cord or reinstall the batteries.
WARNING
Should the CD door be opened before the reading of the CD
is completed, a jamming noise may occur. This is resolved
by closing the CD door.
CLEANING A CD
If the CD skips or will not play , the disc may need clean-
ing . Before playing, wipe the disc from the centre out with
a cleaning cloth. After playing, store the disc in its case.
MAINTENANCE
CLEANING THE CD LENS
If the CD lens is dusty, clean it with a brush-blower. Blow
several times on the lens and remove the dust with
the brush. Finger prints may be removed with a cotton
swab moistened with alcohol.
