The illustrations used in this manual are to illustrate the operation method and product structure of
the product. Where there is a small difference between the physical item and the illustrations,
please take the physical as the standard.
General Safety Instructions
·Read the operating instructions carefully before putting the appliance into operation and keep the
instructions.
·This appliance is intended to be used in household and similar applications such as:
-staff kitchen areas in shops, offices and other working environments;
-farm houses;
-by clients in hotels, motels and other residential type environments;
-bed and breakfast type environments.
·The appliance is designed exclusively for private household use and for the envisaged purpose.
·This appliance is not fit for commercial use.
·Do not use it outdoors. Keep it away from sources of heat, direct sunlight, humidity and sharp
edges. Do not use the appliance with wet hands. If the appliance is humid or wet, unplug it
immediately. Do not put it in water.
·When cleaning or putting it away, switch off the appliance and always pull out the plug from the
socket (pull on the plug, not the cable) if the appliance is not being used and remove the attached
accessories.
·Never leave the appliance unsupervised. To protect children from the dangers posed by electrical
appliance, make sure that the cable is hanging low and that children do not have access to the
appliance.
· Before installing this appliance, make sure your outlet voltage corresponds to the voltage stated on
the appliance rating label. When connecting the appliance, align the plug properly and insert it fully
to prevent electric shock.
·Check the appliance and the cable for damage on a regular basis. Do not use the appliance if it is
damaged.
·Do not try to repair the appliance on your own. Always contact an authorized technician. To avoid
the exposure to danger, always have a faulty cable be replaced only by the manufacturer, by our
customer service or by a qualified person and with a cable of the same type. This product has no
user-serviceable parts. Only have it serviced by qualified personnel. Contact the after-sales support
line for advice.
·Use only original spare parts.
·Pay careful attention to the following “Special Safety Instructions”.

Special Safety Instructions for this Machine
·The glass jug, it’s handle and lid can become very hot when the unit is in operation. Please use
caution when touching these parts during operation or soon after operation. Use protection on your
hands, E.G: oven mitts.
·Use only cold water when filling.
·This tea kettle is suitable for boiling water with or without tea leaves added to the strainer.
·Do not boil milk, coffee or liquids other than water in the tea kettle.
·The water level must be between the MAX. and MIN. marks! If the tea kettle is overfilled, boiling
water may be ejected, which might arise a hazard to the user.
·The minimum volume level amount is 300ml. The maximum volume level amount is 1.2 litres.
Ensure you take into account the strainer and tea leaves being added in.
·The tea kettle is only to be used with the stand provided.
·Only use on a flat and steady surface. Do not operate the tea kettle on an inclined plane.
·Do not operate the tea kettle unless the element/heating plate inside is fully immersed.
·Do not move the tea kettle while it is switched on.
·The tea kettle and its base must not be immersed in any liquids. The base and exterior of the tea
kettle must not become wet.
·Always ensure that the lid is tightly closed.
·During operation, do not open the lid to add more liquid or tea leaves. Press the ON/OFF button to
cease operation and when the tea kettle has stopped heating or boiling, then open the lid carefully if
required.
·Discolouration to the element plate after use is normal.
·This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above if they have been given
supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and if they understand the
hazards involved. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children unless they are older
than 8 and supervised. Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children aged less than 8
years.
·This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical sensory
or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision
or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety. Children
should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
First Use of the Machine
Please read these operating instructions carefully and keep them in a safe place. Before using for the
first time, boil fresh water at least twice in the appliance.

Operation
Add tea leaves to the tea strainer attached to the lid.
To do this, lift the lid off the tea strainer. When tea leaves are added, put the tea strainer into the
tea strainer holder and put the lid on.
Add water to the empty jug.
Then the complete piece with the tea strainer, the holder and the lid can be added to the jug.
Place the jug onto the base.
Upon connection to mains power, the base will make a beep sound and all lights will come on and
then go off. Then, press the ON/OFF BUTTON to put the tea kettle/base into standby mode. If no
function is selected within 30 seconds, the base will beep, and the display panel will be off.
If the jug is not placed on the base when the ON/OFF button is pressed, the display screen will show
- - - - on the screen. No function can be selected.
FUNCTION BUTTON:
Press the FUNCTION BUTTON repeatedly to change between the different heating temperatures
(100°, 95°, 90°, 85°, 80°).
When your chosen option is blinking on the display panel, there is no need to press anything else.
Within 5 seconds, the tea kettle jug will begin heating the water to that temperature.
The tea kettle is equipped with an automatic 4 hour keep warm function when using this method to
heat the water. To cease this, press the ON/OFF button.
POWER 50 – 800W:
This option allows for 40 mins of continual water boiling by adjusting the power level.
Press the FUNCTION BUTTON repeatedly until the POWER (50 – 800W) indicator light is shown
blinking on the display panel.
Then press the REGULATE BUTTON repeatedly to change between the pre-set power level options
50/200/300/400/500/600/700/800 watts.
When your chosen power level is shown on the screen, there is no need to press anything else.
Within 5 seconds, the tea kettle jug will begin to heat the water.
The water will continually boil until the ON/OFF button is pressed for 40 minutes.
Press the ON/OFF button to cease boiling.
As this is a continual boiling mode, please ensure that the tea kettle is not left unattended as the tea
kettle could boil dry.
As there is continual rapid boiling during the time of operation on this function, please ensure the
volume inside the tea kettle is reduced to 1 Litre for safety.

THERMOSTAT 40° - 100°:
This option allows for the keep warm temperature to be adjusted in 5-degree increments between
40° and 100°. The water will boil to 100°. Then it will cool down and keep warm to your chosen
temperature.
Press the FUNCTION BUTTON repeatedly until the THERMOSTAT (40° - 100°) indicator light is shown
blinking on the display panel.
Then press the REGULATE BUTTON repeatedly to change the temperature in 5-degree increments.
The adjustable temperature range is 40° - 100°.
When your chosen temperature is shown on the screen, there is no need to press anything else.
Within 5 seconds, the tea kettle jug will begin to heat the water and when it reaches 100 degrees
the base will beep, and the water will cease heating.
The tea kettle will then go into a 12 hour keep warm mode, where it will manage the keep warm
temperature. The screen will alternate between showing the remainder of the keep warm time and
the current water temperature.
To cease using this function, press the ON/OFF BUTTON, Then the unit will be in standby mode until
the ON/OFF button is pressed again.
TIME/DELAY BUTTON:
Using this button allows for a delay start time to be set. Then once that timer reaches 0, the tea
kettle will come on and boil the water.
The delay start timers’ range is 30 mins to 12 hours which can be set in 30-minute increments.
Press the TIME/DELAY BUTTON. Press it repeatedly to change the delay start time, which will be
shown on the display screen. If it shows 30, then the tea kettle will come in in 30 mins. If it shows
2.00 foe example, then it will come on in 2 hours’ time.
When your chosen delay start time is shown on the screen, press the FUNCTION BUTTON to choose
the operation method.
When you have made your selection, there is no need to press anything else. Within 5 seconds, the
unit will beep, and the delay start timer will be set. The time shown on the display screen will count
down to 0.
When it reaches 0, the tea kettle will begin heating the water.

Cleaning and Descaling
Discolouration to the element plate after use is normal.
Descaling regularly can be extend the service life.
For general usage (five times every day), It is suggested to descale every three months if the water
lower than 18dh (degree of hardness), descale monthly if the water higher than 18dh.
1. Put 3/4 water into glass pot and boil.
2. Add vinegar to the water until it reaches the max line (1.2 Litre mark).
3. Let the water and vinegar mix rest inside the tea kettle overnight.
4. Pour the water and vinegar mix out and rinse the inside of the tea kettle with water
thoroughly.
5. Fill the tea kettle with water and boil it again.
6. Pour the water out, rinse the inside of the tea kettle again.
7. If necessary, repeat above operation.
Boiling sliced lemon in water will also aid in cleaning.
Never use rough scouring pads or abrasive cleaners.
Do not immerse the tea kettle or the base in water or any other liquid.
Always unplug the base before cleaning.
The base may be wiped with a slightly damp soft cloth.
