Chapter 1. Meet your computer
Front
Item Component Description
1 Wi-Fi antennas Send and receive radio aves for the built-in ireless LAN
(local area net ork) and Bluetooth module.
Note: The antennas are not visible from the outside of the
computer. If the location of the antennas is close to the user’s
body (< 20 cm), you can find the Specific Absorption Rate
(SAR) values in the Setup Guide that comes ith your
computer.
2 Microphones Capture or record sound and voice.
3Camera light If the light is on, the camera is in use.
4 Front camera Capture still and moving images for taking photos, recording
videos, and video chatting.
5Screen Display text, graphics, and videos. The screen supports multi-
touch function.

1Speaker Produce sound.
2, 3 Multi-purpose USB Type-C® connector This multi-purpose connector can be used to connect devices
that utilize the USB transfer technology. It also supports USB
Po er Delivery.
Note: The USB Type-C connector (2) ith no icon next to it
also supports to connect display devices. When connecting
display devices, you need to use appropriate cables and
adapters (if needed) according to the connection capabilities of
the display device.

1Combo audio jack Connect headphones or headsets ith a 3.5 mm (0.14 inch), 4-
pole plug.
Note: This jack does not support standalone external
microphones. If you use headsets, choose one ith a single
plug.
2Speaker Produce sound.
3 Volume button Press the button to increase or decrease the system volume.
4Po er light/Charging light/Fingerprint
reader light
This light sho s po er status of the computer, hether the
computer is connected to ac po er, and the status of the
fingerprint reader.
• Po er light
– On: The computer is turned on.
– Off: The computer is turned off or in hibernation mode.
– Slo blinking: The computer is in sleep mode.
• Charging light
– Connected to ac po er:
– Solid hite: The battery capacity is 91%-100%.
– Solid amber: The battery capacity is 1%-90%.
– Not connected to ac po er:
– Solid hite: The battery capacity is 21%-100%.
– Solid amber: The battery capacity is 1%-20%.
• Fingerprint reader light
– Fast blinking hite: The fingerprint reader is starting.
– Solid hite: The fingerprint reader is aiting for you to
scan your fingerprint.
5Po er button/Fingerprint reader • Press the button to turn on the computer or put the
computer into sleep mode.
• Enroll and read your fingerprint for user authentication.
