1. Microphones Capture or record sound and voice.
2. Infrared LED* Emit infrared light for face authentication.
3. Camera • Capture still and moving images for taking photos, recording
videos, and video chatting.
• Capture your face images for face authentication (for models ith
the infrared camera).
Note: Use Windo s Hello to enroll your face for face
authentication.
4. Camera cover slider Move the slider to cover or uncover the camera lens.
Note: The camera cover helps you better protect your privacy.
5. Camera light If the light is on, the camera is in use.
6. Ambient light sensor Detect the surrounding light intensity and adjust the brightness of the
built-in screen accordingly.
Note: To turn off the automatic brightness adjustment, type display
settings in the Windo s search box and then press Enter.
7. Screen Display text, graphics, and videos.

1. Wireless antennas Send and receive radio aves for the built-in ireless LAN (local area
net ork) and Bluetooth module.
Notes:
• The antennas are not visible from the outside of the computer.
• If the location of the antennas is close to the user’s body (< 20 cm),
you can find the Specific Absorption Rate (SAR) values in the Setup
Guide that comes ith your computer.
2. Po er button/Fingerprint reader* • Press the button to turn on the computer or put the computer into
sleep mode.
• Enroll and read your fingerprint for user authentication.
3. Po er light/Fingerprint reader light* The light sho s po er status of the computer. If the computer
includes a fingerprint reader, it can also sho the status of the reader.
• Po er light
– On: The computer is turned on.
– Off: The computer is turned off or in hibernation mode.
– Blinking: The computer is in sleep mode.
• Fingerprint reader light
– Blinking green: The fingerprint reader is starting.
– Solid green: The fingerprint reader is aiting for you to scan
your fingerprint.
4. Numeric keypad To enable or disable the numeric keypad, press the Num Lock key.
5. Touchpad Perform finger touch and all the functions of a traditional mouse.
Note: The touchpad also supports multi-touch function.

6. Keyboard Enter characters and interact ith programs.
Note: The keyboard also includes hotkeys and function keys for
changing settings and performing tasks quickly.
7. Speakers Produce sound.

1. Po er connector Connect to po er ith the included po er cord and ac po er
adapter.
2. Charging light Indicate hether the computer is connected to ac po er.
• Solid hite: connected to ac po er; battery capacity 91%–100%
• Solid amber: connected to ac po er; battery capacity 1%–90%
• Off: not connected to ac po er
3. HDMITM 2.0 port Connect to a compatible digital audio device or video monitor, such
as an HDTV.
