Integrated camera Use the camera for video communication or taking photos.
Built-in microphone Captures sound which can be used for video conferencing, voice narration,
or audio recording.
Wireless LAN
antennas
Connect to the wireless LAN adapter to send and receive wireless radio.
Computer display The computer display with LED backlight provides brilliant visual output.
Note: Select models may have a multi-touch screen. Please refer to the actual product. For details, see
“Touch screen operation (on select models)” on page 17 .
Power button Press this button to turn on the computer.
Touch pad The touch pad functions as a conventional mouse.
Touch pad: To move the pointer on the screen, slide your fingertip over the
pad in the direction in which you want the pointer to move.
Touch pad buttons: The functions of the left/right side correspond to that
of the left/right mouse button on a conventional mouse.
Note: You can enable/disable the touch pad by pressing F6 ( ).

Hotkeys
The hotkeys are located on the function key row on the keyboard. Youcan access certain system
settings quickly by pressingthe appropriate hotkey.

Z510/Z510 Touch
:Mutes/unmutes the sound. :Enables/disables Airplane
mode.
:Decreases the volume level. :Displays all currently active
apps.
:Increases the volume level. :Turns on/off the backlightof
the LCD screen.
:Closes the currently active
window. :
Toggles the display between the
computer and an external
device.
:Refreshes the desktop or the
currently active window. :Decreases display brightness.
:Enables/disables the touch
pad. :Increases display brightness.

Function key combinations
Through the use of the function keys, youcan change operational features instantly. To use this
function, press and hold Fn ; then press one of the function keys .

Z510/Z510 Touch
The followingdescribes the features of each function key.
Fn + PgUp: Enables/disables the scroll lock.
Fn + PgDn: Activates the system request.
Fn + Home: Activates the pause function.
Fn + End: Activates the break function.
Fn + Space (on select models): Enables/disables the keyboard backlight.

Connectthe AC power adapter here.
Novo button When the computer is off, press this button to startthe Lenovo Recovery
System or the BIOSsetup utility, o r to enter the bootmenu.
Note: For details, see “Lenovo OneKey Recovery System” on page 23.
Fan louvers Dissipate internal heat.
Note: Make sure thatnone of the fan louvers are blocked or else overheatingof the computer may occur.
VGA port Connects to external display devices.
RJ-45 port This portconnects the computer to an Ethernetnetwork.
HDMI port Connects to devices with HDMI inputs, such as a TV or an external display.
USB ports Connectto USB devices.
