Battery Instructions
TheL203MultiLineLaserisautomaticallylevelling.Rotatingthependulum
lockingknobclockwise from“off” to “on” will allow the L203 to self level
andpoweritup. NOTE:ifthe L203emits aloud beepingsound andthe
laserlinesashthenthebodyofthelaserisoutsideofselflevellingrange.
The L203 can be roughly levelled into self levelling range by rotating the
adjustmentfeetusingthebullseyevial.ThebubblevialdoesNOTneedto
beperfectlycentral,aslongastheoutoflevelarmisnotsoundingthenthe
publishedaccuracywillbeachieved.
TheL203operateson3xstandardAlkaline“AA”batteries,rstremovethe
batterycompartmentcoverbypushingdownonthelatch.Insertbatteries
into the battery compartment as indicated, make sure the polarities are
correctbeforereplacingthecover.

TheL203’scannowbeturnedonasrequired.Forthehorizontalpressthe
“H” button and the two Verticals the “V1” and “V2” buttons, note as you
turnontheverticallinestheplumbdowndotwillalsobepoweredup.To
poweroffindividuallinesagainpresseither“H”,“V1”and“V2”asdesired.
Topoweroffthecompletelaserunitrotatethependulumlocktothe“off”
position.
TheL203featuresamanuallevelmode,whichforcesthelaserlinestoturn
onwithoutrstunlockingthependulum,thiscanbehandytohavealaser
lineatacustomanglesuchasbalustrades.ToentermanualmodeDONOT
unlockpendulumleavein“off”position.Pressthemanualbuttonandthe
ManualModeLEDwithashandthe Linebuttonscanbepressedtoturn
onthelaserlines,thebodyofthelasercanbetiltedinanyanglethatyou
require.ToexitmanualmodepresstheManualLevelbuttononceagainand
theL203willpowerdown.
TheL203alsofeaturesPulsemode,thisallowsthelinestobepickedupby
optionallinelaserreceiverssuchastheLR200.Pressingthe“P”pulsebutton
togglesthisfeatureonandoff.

Using with Optional Electronic Line Receiver
The L203 can be used with an optional electronic Line receiver such as
LR200. Using a receiver allows the L203 to be used outdoors in full sun
wherethelinesarenolongervisibletothehumaneye.OncetheL203isin
pulsemodethereceiverwillpickupthepositionofeitherthehorizontalor
verticallines(receiveronitsside)andwillindicatewerethelaserlineisto
1mmaccuracy.

needtoplumbupordown,level,alignorsquarethislasercandoit.The
L203canevenbeusefuloutdoorsusinganoptionalreceiverwiththelines

OurgoodscomewithguaranteesthatcannotbeexcludedundertheAustralianConsumerLaw.Youare
entitledtoareplacementorrefundforamajorfailureandforcompensationforanyotherreasonably
foreseeablelossordamage.Youarealsoentitledtohavethegoodsrepairedorreplacedifthegoods
failtobeofacceptablequalityandthefailuredoesnotamounttoamajorfailure.
CMIwarrantsthatourproductswillbefreefromdefectsinmaterialandworkmanshipforthewarranty
period.
CMIpromisestorepairorreplace,freeofcharge,theproductorpartofproductiffoundtobefaulty
duetodefectiveworkmanshipormaterialswithinthedurationofthewarrantyaslongasthefollowing
termsandconditionsaremet;
•Productmustnothavebeenmisusedorabused,mustnothaveincurredaccidentaldamageorhad
un-authorisedrepairortamperingthathascausedorcontributedtoitsfaultorfailure.
•YoumustcontactCMIbyphone,mailoremailimmediatelywhenafaultordefecthasbecome
apparentandwithinthewarrantyperiod.
•ProductmustbereturnedtostoreofpurchaseordirectlytoCMI,wewillcovercostofpostageonly
whensentbyourreplypaidAustraliaPostservice(AustralianMainlandandTasmaniaonly)detailswill
beprovideduponphone,postoremailcommunicationswithus.
•CMIwillcovercostoffreightbackofrepairedorreplacedproducttooriginalpurchasestoreoryou
directly(dependingonhowitwassentAustralianMainLandandTasmaniaonly).
•CMIwilldeterminewhethertorepairorreplacetheproductorpartofproductonacasebycase
basis.
•Furtherexclusionsinthiswarrantyincludedamageordefectcausedbyuseofnon-original
accessoriesorparts,damageintransportation,normalwearandtear,damagethroughmoisture,
damageduetoelectricsurge,failureduetoneglectordamagedcausedbyadjustmentsnotoutlinedin
CMI’sinstructions.
SubjecttotherequirementsofallapplicableAustralianActsorlegislationandtotheextentpermitted
bylaw,CMIacceptsnoliability(whetherexpressedorimplied)ofanynaturewhatsoeverforanyloss
ofearnings,hiringofreplacementequipment,Inaccurateworkcarriedoutbytheconsumeroragent,
damageorinjuryarisingasaresultofanyfaultintheproduct.Itistheconsumersresponsibilityto
maintaingoodworkingpracticesandregularlytesttheirtoolsforaccuracyandserviceability.
Calibrationoftheproductisnotcoveredbywarrantysubjecttotherequirementofallapplicable
AustralianActsorlegislationandtotheextentpermittedbylaw,
ACMIproductreturnedthatfailstofallwithinthetermsandconditionsofthiswarrantywillbequoted
forrepair.
