4-Bay Gigabit Network
Storage GNS-4001
Product Overview
The LevelOne GNS-4001 4-bay Network Storage
is designed specically for home oces, small
businesses and workgroups. Never before has there
been available a centralizing management of Network
Attached Storage (NAS) system with a space-saving
footprint and large capacity that gives user the
benets of a big-time data centre without big-time IT
department needed. By utilizing iSCSI network storage
server storage and supporting ISO le for a great deal
to do monitoring of storage, backup, archiving, and
le sharing. GNS-4001 is suitable for IP Surveillance
that can easily be implemented as network storage or
as a supplement to your primary backup and recovery
device.
Advanced Data Storage & File Sharing
As the data value and volume of business data
continue to rise, corporations need
high-performance storage solutions which are secure,
reliable, and easy to manage. Our NAS provides both
iSCSI service and network storage solutions which can
be easily utilized in dierent business and enterprise
applications such as backup center, disaster recovery,
le sharing, virtualization and video editing storage.
Complete Backup Solutions
The NAS oers the following comprehensive RAID
(Redundant Array of Independent Disks) levels
and fault-tolerant disk congurations: 0 “striping”,
1 “mirroring”, 5 “parity”, 5+hot spare, 6“double
distributed parities”, 6+hot spare, 10“RAID 1+RAID 0”,
10+hot spare, single disk and Linear Disk Volume i.e.,
JBOD (Just a Bunch Of Disks). In addition, it supports
Hot-swapping, SmartSync for data replication, RAID
bad sector recovery, and Disk Server. All these features
enhance maximum data protection against hardware
failure.
IP Surveillance Solution
Apart from the data sharing service provided by
NAS, you can also set up a video surveillance system
for your business via the built-in iSCSI functionality.
Video surveillance is much cheaper and no longer
complicated these days. Depending on your existing
network topology, if you have network cameras
and an IP CamSecure Server already placed, then all
that is required is to congure an iSCSI target disk
volume on the NAS for the video surveillance system
and to install an iSCSI initiator on the IP CamSecure
Server which will communicate with the iSCSI target
automatically.
Key Features
- Provides RAID (0/1/5/6/10) technology for advanced
data security and improved performance
- Features iSCSI function to optimize data protection
and simplify IP-SAN storage deployment
