DIGITAL TV – By 2012, all areas of the UK will receive TV in
digital, as opposed to analogue. Digital TV provides better
picture quality and a greater choice of TV and radio
channels. It also offers new features such as on-screen
programme guides, interactivity, audio description and
subtitling for people with visual and audio impairments

FREEVIEW HD – Get Ready to watch High Definition TV for
free with built in freeview HD bringing you the best of BBC,
ITV and C4 in glorious high definition with no monthly fee or
contract. Freeview HD provides up to 5 times the picture
quality of standard definition freeview taking you closer to
the action.

HD – High-definition television, or HDTV, is a new standard
of TV with better-quality picture and sound than what you're
used to. HDTV brings you closer to the action, offering more
colours and a higher resolution picture similar to what you'd
see at a cinema. This can make HDTV images clearer,
sharper, more detailed and very life-like.
LED – LG LED TVs produce a sharper, more detailed picture
with a superior contrast as well as an ultra slim design
compared to LCD TVs. LED TVs have tiny lights either
around the edge of the TV (known as Edge LED) or directly
behind the TV (known as Full LED). This model has LED
lights around the edge of the TV frame giving you an ultra
slim TV that is perfect for wall mounting. An eco-friendly
revolution in picture quality and an ultra slim design. LG LED

NETCAST – NetCast™ Entertainment access brings the best
of the internet directly to your TV, without the need for a
computer. You can enjoy free skype to skype video
conferencing (coming soon), youtube, weather forecasts as
well as online photo sharing from the comfort of your living
room sofa. You can access this service by connecting LG
NetCast TVs to your home network either via the built-in
Ethernet port or using an optional WiFi USB dongle. With LG
NetCast TVs you will also be ready for future online services
which can be updated onto your LG TV."3D TV
DLNA – (Digital Living Network Alliance) Create a wireless
home network to talk to your PC, digital camera, mobile
phone and even Blu-ray player. This seamless connection to
multiple WiFi-enabled devices anywhere in your home lets
you to watch online content on the big screen without any
unsightly wires.
WI-FI – enables you to connect to a wireless router to
support online content, such as YouTube, BD Live and DLNA
This means that there is no need for cables around your
home and with selected products, the addition of DLNA
connectivity allows you to create a wireless media hub to
access your complete digital library from your living room.
