it, it will benefit you to use it better.
1. Introduction
CM388CWAS wireless camera uses ISM wave band which can transfer audio and video signal
in the frequency scope of 2400～2483MHz, it can be used in baby monitoring、patient custody、
security, surveillance, etc.

4. Installation
4.1. It is more convenient for you to see the stable environment when you install the
remote sense

CM388CWAS in a fixed position, or install it on the other places such as the desk、baby bed
nearby and so on.
4.2. Please install CM388CWAS in a better-lightened place, so you can get the clear picture.
4.3. Please install CM388CWAS in an open place, so the transferring distance will be farther.
zPlease don’t install CM388CWAS in such places that have many metal objects or have many
obstructions between receiver, it will affect the transferring distance.
zInstall it far from the high temperature environment as possible as you can, don’t use it near
the fire or wet place.
5. Operation illumination
5.1. When use this for the first time, put the power adapter(DC5V/1.5A) into the AC socket, put
the DC output into the 5V DC IN at the back of this wireless camera.
5.2. It is channel 1 (2400MHz) when the power position is in the〝CH1〞, 〝CH2〞is channel
2(2427MHz), “CH3” is channel 3(2454MHz), “CH4” is channel 4(2481MHz).
5.3. If the receiving picture is not clear enough, you can adjust the lens and then the picture will
become much better.
5.4. If you want to see different features, you can adjust the angles of the camera up and down, or
left and right, or enter rotating mode.
5.5. Key operation
1) Power on: under “off” mode, press the power key once, if the red indicator light is on, the
camera is on.
2) Speed change
Under “on” mode, press the key once (about 0.5S), camera will enter the mode of speed change 1;
press the key twice (about 0.5S), camera will enter the mode of speed change 2, press the key 3
times (about 0.5S), camera will enter the mode of speed change 3; press the key 4 times (about
0.5S), camera will enter the mode of speed change 4; press the key for the 5th time to stop running,
and then press the key for the 6th time, camera will enter the mode of speed change 1 again, then
repeat circularly.
①Speed change 1 mode: transfer about 5 circles/minute, the blue indicator light will be lightened
one time per 1S.
②The speed change 2 mode: transfer about 10 circles/minute, the blue indicator light will be
lightened one time per 0.8S.
③The speed change 3 mode: transfer about 15 circles/minute, the blue indicator light will be
lightened one time per 0.5S.

④The speed change 4 mode: transfer about 20 circles/minute, the blue indicator light will be
lightened one time per 0.2S.
3). Power off: Under “power on” mode, press the key for 3 seconds, the power will be off.
5.6. The key illumination of remote control
Power key: Under “off” mode, press the switch key to open the camera, the power indicator
light (LED1) will be on. Press the switch key again, it will be off.
Auto mode key: Under any open mode, press the auto mode key, the motor will start rotating,
press it again, the motor stops rotating.
Speed 1 key: Under auto mode, press this key, the motor enters the mode of speed change 1.
Speed 2 key: Under auto mode, press this key, the motor enters the mode of speed change 2.
Speed 3 key: Under auto mode, press this key, the motor enters the mode of speed change 3.
Speed 4 key: Under auto mode, press this key, the motor enters the mode of speed change 4.
Accelerating key: Under auto circle mode, press this key, the motor will rotate with higher speed,
every time you press this key, the speed increases within the speed change mode. The fastest one is the
speed change mode 4.
Decelerating key: Under auto circle mode, press this key, the motor will rotate with slower speed,
every time you press this key, the speed slows down within the speed change mode, the slowest one
is the speed change mode 1.
Left turning key: In any open mode, every time you press this key, the motor turn to the left
with one angle, the blue light shines once.
Right turning key: In any open mode, every time you press this key, the motor turn to the right
with one angle, the blue light shines once.
6. Usage Help
If the picture is not stable, or you can’t receive the picture.
a. Please check whether the camera power and the receiver power is on.
b. whether the distance between the camera and receiver is very far, or there are many
obstructions(such as buildings of steel structures, it will affect transmitting signal seriously)
between them.
c. Whether the camera frequency is corresponding to the receiver frequency, (the same frequency
transmitter can not work at the same time in the effective receiving scope, they will interfere

each other easily, result in poor picture quality.)
d. Antenna should be far away from electromagnetic shielding obstructions, such as copper, iron
and so on.
e. If there is a high-power signal with the same frequency and a car radio receiver which is
working, it will interfere the receiver.
