To engage the Motors, push the two levers inward for
Power Mode.
Pull the two levers outward to disengage the Motors for
Free Wheel Mode. This will allow the power chair to
be pushed by hand.
NOTE: When the power chair is in Freewheel Mode, the braking system

SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
Perform this safety check before each use to make sure your power chair
operates smoothly and safely.
› Check for proper tire inflation
› Check all electrical connections are secure
› Check the brakes
› Check battery charge
› Ensure the manual freewheel levers are in drive mode before sitting on the power chair.
NOTE: If you discover a problem, contact your Lifestyle Mobility Aids Dealer
for assistance.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Do not operate your power chair before reading and
understanding this owner’s manual.
NOTE: Find an open area and have someone help you practice until you are confident
operating the power chair.
The joystick controls speed, braking, and direction. You will need to become familiar
with the settings and sensitivity. Refer to TOP OF CONTROLLER Image (page 5).
Use the Decelerate Button to set the speed to Level 1 until you are comfortable
operating the power chair.
The Joystick is your steering lever. Move the Joystick gently forward to go forward,
backward to reverse and left or right to turn left or right. The further you push the
joystick in any direction, the speed will increase.
To stop, simply release the Joystick and it will automatically return to the center
position. This will bring the power chair smoothly to a stop and the electromagnetic
brake will engage.
Practice moving forward first. Once you are comfortable, practice making “S” turns
and then move on to moving in reverse. When reversing, make sure there are no
obstacles behind you and note that the power chair will move more slowly despite
the speed level setting.
NOTE: Power down when not in use and ALWAYS power down when parked or getting in or
out of the power chair. This will prevent movement from accidental contact with the joystick
or electromagnetic interference with the braking system which could cause injury
to unsuspecting bystanders.
