General safety instructions
• Ensure mains power is disconnected & switched o when installing the fitting
• To clean: Ensure that the fitting is disconnected from the mains and cannot be unintentionally reconnected.
• Place only upon level and stable surfaces.
• Do not use in areas in which there is a danger of explosion.
• Do not use near flammable materials.
• Do not place in water or other liquids.
• Never operate with wet hands.
• Never cover the equipment.
• Never operate when the casing is open, or when the wiring casing is missing or damaged, or when the casing is defective.
• Never attempt to repair this unit yourself. Repairs should only be carried out by a qualified electrician
• If the supply cord is damaged, stop using the unit immediately & consult a qualified electrician
• If casing is broken, stop using the unit immediately & consult a qualified electrician
Programming the timer to continue through midnight
1. Program the ON time as described above.
2. Program the OFF time as 23:59.
3. Program the first program for the next day to come on at 00:00.
Modifying or Adding Programs
1. Press PROG and hold for 3 seconds.
2. The mode in which it was last programmed will be displayed. (7 Day or 5 Day for instance).
3. The mode can be adjust using the BOOST/ADV buttons from 5 Day to 7 Day or another mode.
4. Press PROG to accept the new mode and advance to adjusting the timer ON/OFF settings.
5. Review the times and adjust as described in ‘Timer Programming’ section.
BOOST Button
1. Press the BOOST button once to switch the load on for 1 hour. BOOST 1displays on the screen.
2. Press the BOOST button twice to switch the load on for 2 hours. BOOST 2displays on the screen.
3. Press the BOOST button three times to turn the load o again.
ADVANCE Button
1. Press the ADV button once to switch the load on continuously until the next Timer OFF setting is reached.
2. Press the ADV button twice to override the timer. The load will stay on permanently until the ADV button is pressed
again, returning the device to timer mode.

This product is only suitable for use within the parameters stated in this instruction manual. Any deviation in usage by the customer, installation errors,
overloading of the device or any other misuse will not be covered under the manufacturer’s guarantee. It is the sole responsibility of the installer of the
product to ensure that it is suitable for the application and used and installed within the parameters advised by the manufacturer.

Setup Instructions
Before programming the device, it is recommended that you press the RESET button
using a pointed object such as a paper clip or pencil. The screen will display CODE.
Setting Date and Time
1. Hold the TIME button until the year setting appears flashing.
2. Select the year by using the BOOST/ADV buttons.
3. Press the TIME button to move on to the month setting.
4. Set the correct month using the BOOST/ADV buttons.
5. Press the TIME button to move on to the day of the month setting.
6. Set the correct date using the BOOST/ADV buttons.
7. Press the TIME button to move on to the time setting.
8. Set the correct hour using the BOOST/ADV buttons.
9. Press the TIME button to move on to the minute setting.
10. Set the correct minutes using the BOOST/ADV buttons.
11. Press the TIME button and the time/date settings are complete.
Timer Programming
1. Hold the PROG button for 3 seconds. The 7 Day Program mode will display.
2. Press the ADV button to scroll through the program modes, as follows:
3. Once selected, press the PROG button to advance to setting the ON time for program 1.
4. Adjust the hour using the BOOST/ADV buttons, then press the PROG button and do the same again
to set the minutes.
5. Press the PROG button again to advance to setting the OFF time for program 1.
6. Repeat processes 4&5 to set the OFF timings.
7. Press PROG to advance to program 2 and repeat the process again.
8. There are 4 programs available per day that can be set or left blank if not required.
9. Press PROG to exit programming mode. The PROG button can be pressed and held for 3 seconds
at any point during programming to return to operating mode.
10. NOTE: The main switch needs to be set to the down position with the red line showing on top (ON)
for the programmer to work and switch the load.
• Mo Tu We Th Fr Sa Su - 7 Day mode - Enables setting the same timer ON/OFF settings for
each week day.
• Mo Tu We Th Fr - 5 Day mode - Enables setting the same timer ON/OFF settings for each
week day.
• Sa Su - Weekend mode - Enables setting the timer ON/OFF settings for weekend days only.
• Mo - Individual day mode - Enables setting dierent timer ON/OFF settings for each day of
the week.

Installation
•This unit should only be installed by a qualified electrician, adhering to the local regulations and
guidance covering the installation.
•The spur is designed to fit a 1 gang 25mm deep (min) back box.
•The unit can be used as part of a ring main and can accept 2 x 2.5mm T&E conductors per terminal.
•An earth loop through connector is supplied if required.
•If the unit is installed in a metal back box, earthing of the back box is necessary.
•Switch o the mains power supply at the fuse board before connecting the unit.
•Connect the supply to L IN & N IN. Connect the load to L OUT & N OUT.
•The load cable can be fed through the front cable exit and should be clamped using the supplied
cable clamp.

•Resistive loads (3kW max) - such as Immersion Heaters
•Incandescent / Halogen Lighting (700W max)
•Fluorescent Lighting (500W max)
•CFL Compact Fluorescent Lighting (80W max)
•LED Lighting (150W max)
•Not suitable for use with discharge lighting

The time is a 24hr clock.

Important Information
This timer is only suitable for installation in systems where it is constantly powered. It may not be suitable
for installation into a system where the mains supply is regularly lost or switched o such as Economy 7
or 10 systems. It can be used on Economy 7 or 10 systems where the power is not switched o at any
point, but just switched between taris.
Regular loss of power to the timer may result in the battery becoming over-discharged and errors may
occur in the programming and with the reliability of the internal clock.
The battery within this product is designed to retain the clock timing and program setting during the
event of an occasional power cut.
