2 Introduction
This manual is meant to instruction for proper operation and maintenance of the aircraft engine.
Modifications to the engine are only permitted with the approval of our development department.
Caution:
The specially identifies safety notes must be observed to prevent accidents with personal
injuries and to prevent damage to the engine.
Please also observe the instructions of the aircraft manufacturer. They are specially adapted for opera-
tion of the engine in the aircraft.
Caution:
Familiarize yourself with the layout oft he engine controls in your aircraft according tot he
instructions oft he aircraft manufacturer. Pay special attention to those controls needed to
master an emergency situation.
