Operating temperature: -20°C … + 60°C Sensor activation: fix, min. 1mm of water
Over flooding 100% guaranteed Sensor is 100% water proof
Sensors: 4 pieces of V4A-steel Cable: approx. 5m, flex 3x 0.34 mm²
Weight approx. 150g Dimensions approx. 9x6x3cm
Introduction
This water sensor has been specially designed for use in monitoring and alarm systems. The unit must be powered
using a 12V DC power supply. It is 100% waterproof. It reacts on any electrically conducting liquid such as water,
alcohol, refreshments, acids and various chemicals. It gives an output when it comes into contact with a conducting
liquid.
• Ideal for detecting leakage from burst pipes etc. and condensation build-up in floor elevated rooms, water cooled
server and network racks and other IT equipment.
• Ideal for tunnel and channel leakage detection
• Ideal for use in sumps and drain areas in case of overflows or pump failures
Function
The entire sensor is enclosed in a sealed water proof housing. The four V4A Steel sensors located on the bottom
side of the unit detect any conducting liquid present. The unit uses an alternating current to detect the liquid. This
prevents the sensors from corrosion due to electrolysis.
The sensor is set to digital LOW in when active.
Connection WHITE
The unit should be wired to a digital in input
of the RMS according to the circuit diagram:
RED or BROWN
RED or BROWN + 12 V
BLUE or GREEN GND
BLUE or GREEN
WHITE IN+ (Sensor)
Troubleshooting
If the unit has been wired incorrectly an “Overload warning” is given by the RMS.
Check and correct the connections and acknowledge the overload warning of the RMS.

Technische Daten
Betriebsspannung: 12 V DC Ruhestrom: 1 mA bei U=12 V
Sensorspannung; max. 12 V / 6 kHz Sensorstrom: max. 0,2 mA
Temperaturbereich: -20°C bis + 60°C Abtastniveau: fix, min. 1mm
Überflutbarkeit: 100% garantiert Detektor wasserdicht vergossen
Sensoren: 4 Stück aus V4A-Stahl Kabel: 5 m, TT-flex 3x 0.34 mm²
Gewicht: ca. 150 g Maße: 9x6x3cm
Anwendung
in Kontakt kommen.
• Zur Überwachung von Doppelböden von EDV Anlagen und klimatisierten Räumen gegen Wasserrohrbruch
• Kanal- und Tunnelüberwachung gegen Überflutung
• Pumpen und Schachtüberwachung gegen Kanalisationsrückstau oder Pumpenausfall
Funktion
