Line Seiki DK-5005A Guide

■ Start Counting
■ Before Start Counting
[Setting Date and Time]
YYYY MM DD hh mm
●Press Power Key for 1 second to turn up the device.
●Push Count Key with Key pressed.
Now you can start setting date and time.
●Date and Time will be displayed on LCD of the device as shown below
in the manner of "YYYY MM DD hh mm."
●Every time you push each Count Key, each corresponding figure of
year, month, day, hour or minute will be increased.
When you push each Count Key with Key pressed,
each corresponding figure will be decreased.
●Push Key after you input date and time.
Now the setting of date and time is finished, and you can start counting.
●If you proceed with counting, refer to the next section "■Start Counting."
If you want to turn off the device, press Power Key for 3 seconds.

*NOTE
If the power supply is shut off, the built-in clock stops. This requires resetting of Date & Time when you use the device next time.
To avoid stopping the clock, please install batteries into the device. As long as the electricity is supplied to the device through AC/DC adapter or USB charging cable,
power is not supplied nor drained from batteries. Therefore, it is recommended that batteries be always installed in the device even if the electricity is supplied to the
device through AC/DC adapter or USB charging cable.
●Press Power Key for 1 second to turn up the device.
●On its LCD, the device displays count values of 5 counters, total count of 5 counters,
and time.
●Every time you push Count Key - , the count value of each counter
increases.
By pushing each Count Key with Key pressed, each count value decreases.

The device can save up to 250 "records."
A "record" is timestamped data containing 5 count values and total count value.
1 record = (Individual Count Values) + (Total count of 5 counters) + (Date&Time)
There are two ways to save a record.
*NOTE
If you turn off the device without resetting count values to 0 (zero), the last count
values will internally remain.
Next time you turn up the device, you can start counting from the last count values.
but if you want to reset the values to 0 (zero), press Key for 1 second.

[1. Save Record with Resetting Count Values to 0 (zero)]
●Press Key for 1 second at the count values that you want to save.
●LCD starts to blink, and count value of each counter and total count value will be
saved with timestamp.
 
●LCD stops blinking when saving the record is completed.
Each count value is reset to 0 (zero).
●Now you can start counting again.

[2. Save Record without Resetting Count Values to 0 (zero)]
●Push Count Key with Key pressed at the count values that you
want to save.
●LCD starts to blink, and count value of each counter and total count value will be
saved with timestamp. Each count value will not be reset to 0 (zero).
 
●LCD stops blinking when saving the record is completed.You can continue counting.

●Push Count Key with Key pressed.
●The device shows the record which you saved last time.
[If no record is saved in the device]
[If any records are saved in the device]
The record which you saved last time is displayed.
►View count values : Push Key
►View Date and Time : Push Key
►View the previous record : Push Key
►View the next record : Push Key
●By pushing Key, you can start counting again.

●Push Count Key with Key pressed to show the record you saved.
 
●Push Count Key to clear all the records. The message below will be
displayed on LCD to confirm whether to clear all the records.
[If YES (Clear All the Records)]
►Press Count Key for 1 second.
YES will be selected, and all the records will be cleared from the device.
While clearing all the records, the device shows "All data ---- ---- Clear" on its LCD.
"no data" will be shown on LCD to confirm that there is no record saved in the
device.
 
Push Key, and you can start counting again.
[If NO (Do Not Clear All the Records)]
►Press Count Key for 1 second.
Records will not be cleared.
Push Key, and you can start counting again.
