This Assembly Manual can be used for complete assembly of children beds TOM 115
(points 1 – 13, 19, 20), TOM 140 (points 1 – 20).
It is recommended to process the assembly with at least two workers.
NECESSARY TOOLS
-plain spanner M17 (castors)
-spanner M13 (attachment of handles)
-inner hexagonal spanner M5 (screws in upper part of bed ends)
-inner hexagonal spanner M8, side spanner M17 (assembly of quided rails)
-2 spanners M19 (counterwork screws on threated bar)
-bottomer of spring plug
WARNING: Infringement of assembly procedure can be the cause of failure of the
product. The using of incorrectly assembled product can cause the harm of patient or
the staff.
WARNING: Producer cannot be responsible for any damage or harm of patient or the
staff while using of incorrectly assembled product.
Unpack all parts of the bed, remove the securing bands
1. Attach the castors to a side part
Awith side rails. Use the M17
spanner.

2. Than place the side part Ato a
floor (we recommend to use the
cardbox support pad to prevent
damage of powder coating)
Important – you must keep the
correct position of mattress
platform – head side (with wide
handle attached on it) must be
placed on head side of side part A.
You can recognise the head side of
side part Aby design of chrome
plated ratchet – on head side there
is the first notch approx. 10 cm
from lower end.

4. Put the foot bed end on the
frame and fix it by the blind nut
M10.

5. Thread the head bed-end over
the handle of mattress platform.

6. Put the head bed end on the
screw and fix it by the nut M10.

7. Two workers will pick the second
side part Bup and place it on the
bed frame.
8. Fix and tighten the bed ends to a
side part Bby blind nuts M10

…remove the blue ribbon and
tighten the imbedded hexagonal
screws.

9. Take the riveted guide rail and
touch it to a feet of the bed (with
stop screws near to the feet) and
tighten this guide rail with a M10
screw and nut from both sides.
10. Do it the same with second
riveted guide rail on the other side
of the bed.
11. Put the bed on castors

12. Remove the blue ribbon from
imbedded screws in lower part of
the bed and tighten the hexagonal
screws.

13. Tighten all the lower M10
screws and check the solidness of
mattress platform.
14. Screw the threaded bar used
for adjustment of back-rest to a
silon part K

15. Put the silon washer on the
other side of threaded bar.
16. Lift up the back-rest and put the
end of threaded bar on the hanger
on the mattress platform.
17. Put the silon bushing X,
distance coated tube Yand the
control wheel Z(which match with
the hole on the threaded bar) and
secure the position with a spring
plug.

18. Screw the two nuts to an end of
threaded bar (approx. 1,4 cm from
the end) and tighten them
(counterpart)

19. Screw and tighten both handles
of mattress platform.

20. Attach all four protective corner
bumpers.
21. Check all joints and functions of
the bed before use.
