Gracenote Licensing Agreement
USE OF THIS PRODUCT IMPLIES ACCEPTANCE OF THE TERMS BELOW.
This product contains technology and data from Gracenote of Berkeley, California
(“Gracenote”). The technology from Gracenote (the “Gracenote Embedded Software”)
enables this product to do disc identification and obtain music-related information,
including name, artist, track, and title information (“Gracenote Data”), which is included on
the Gracenote Database (the “Gracenote Database”).
You agree that you will use Gracenote Data, the Gracenote Database, and Embedded
Software for your own personal non-commercial use only. You agree that you will access
Gracenote Data only by means of the standard end user functions and features of this
product. You agree not to assign, copy, transfer or transmit the Embedded Software or any
Gracenote Data to any third party. YOU AGREE NOT TO USE OR EXPLOIT GRACENOTE DATA,
THE GRACENOTE DATABASE, OR GRACENOTE COMPONENT, EXCEPT AS EXPRESSLY
PERMITTED HEREIN.
You agree that your non-exclusive license to use the Gracenote Data, the Gracenote
Database, and Embedded Software will terminate if you violate these restrictions. If your
license terminates, you agree to cease any and all use of the Gracenote Data, the
Gracenote Database, and Gracenote Embedded Software. Gracenote reserves all rights in
the Gracenote Data, Gracenote Database, and Gracenote Embedded Software, including all
ownership rights. You agree that Gracenote may enforce its rights under this Agreement
against you directly in its own name.
The Embedded Software and each item of Gracenote Data are licensed to you “AS IS.”
Gracenote makes no representations or warranties, express or implied, regarding the
accuracy of any Gracenote Data. Gracenote reserves the right to delete data or to change
data categories in any Data updates and for any cause that Gracenote deems sufficient. No
warranty is made that the Embedded Software is error-free or that functioning of the
Embedded Software will be uninterrupted. Gracenote is not obligated to provide you with
any new enhanced or additional data types or categories that Gracenote may choose to
provide in the future.
GRACENOTE DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, BUT NOT
LIMITED TO, IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR
PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. GRACENOTE DOES NOT WARRANT THE
RESULTS THAT WILL BE OBTAINED BY YOUR USE OF THE GRACENOTE COMPONENT OR ANY
GRACENOTE SERVER. IN NO CASE WILL GRACENOTE BE LIABLE FOR ANY CONSEQUENTIAL
OR INCIDENTAL DAMAGES OR FOR ANY LOST PROFITS OR LOST REVENUES.
The Gracenote CDDBMusic Recognition ServiceSM is provided by Gracenote without any
warranty from Linn Products Limited that the information contained within it is accurate,
complete or appropriate. Furthermore, Linn Products Limited cannot be held responsible for
any interruptions, or discontinuation of access, to the CDDB database at any time. Similarly,
the provision of this look -up service does not imply, or constitute, an endorsement by Linn
Products Limited of the referenced service provider, or of those associated with it.

The CD ROM included with the KIVOR TUNBOKS/INDEX contains the Linntek Setup and Control Utility
for operating the unit via a PC. The CD ROM also includes the owner’s manual for the product in PDF
format.
To load the software and view the owner’s manual, you will require:
PC with CD ROM reading ability, Windows®95 or above, Acrobat®Reader®software.
To install the software and PDFs on your PC:
Copy all of the files on the CD ROM into a directory on your computer: for example “c:\program
files\Kivor”.
Double-click the LINNTEK.exe icon and the application will run.
If you have Acrobat®Reader®software installed on your PC, double click the icon for the owner’s
manual you require. Acrobat®Reader®software is available for free download from www.adobe.com
To connect the Tunboks/Index to your PC:
Use a suitable length of nine-way to nine-way null modem cable or standard nine-way to nine-way
cable with the following pin configuration:
On both plugs tie pins 7&8 and 4&6 together.
Connect plug 1 pin 5 to plug 2 pin 5.
Connect plug 1 pin 2 to plug 2 pin 3.
Connect plug 1 pin 3 to plug 2 pin 2.

Le CD-ROM remis avec le KIVOR TUNBOKS/INDEX contient le programme utilitaire Linntek de
programmation et de commande, qui permet de faire fonctionner cet appareil par le biais d'un
ordinateur personnel PC. Ce CD-ROM contient également le mode d'emploi de ce produit, sous
format PDF.
Pour charger ce logiciel et consulter le mode d'emploi, vous aurez besoin :
d'un ordinateur personnel PC en mesure de lire les CD-ROM, de tourner sous Windows®95 ou une
version plus récente et d'exploiter le logiciel Acrobat®Reader®.
Pour installer le logiciel et les fichiers en PDF sur votre ordinateur personnel PC :
recopiez tous les fichiers du CD-ROM dans un répertoire de votre ordinateur comme, par exemple :
"c:\fichiers programmes\Kivor ".
Cliquez à deux reprises sur l'icône LINNTEK.exe pour lancer l'application.
Si le logiciel Acrobat®Reader®est déjà installé sur votre PC, cliquez à deux reprises sur la souris au
niveau de l'icône du mode d'emploi que vous avez besoin. Vous pouvez télécharger gratuitement ce
logiciel Acrobat®Reader®en vous rendant sur le site www.adobe.com
Pour raccorder l'ensemble Tunboks/Index à votre PC :
utilisez un câble faux modem (neuf voies à neuf voies) de longueur appropriée ou un câble standard
neuf voies à neuf voies respectant la configuration de brochage suivante :
Sur les deux prises mâles, raccordez les broches 7 & 8 et 4 & 6 ensemble.

Raccordez la broche 5 de la prise mâle 1 à la broche 5 de la prise mâle 2.
Raccordez la broche 2 de la prise mâle 1 à la broche 3 de la prise mâle 2.
Raccordez la broche 3 de la prise mâle 1 à la broche 2 de la prise mâle 2.

Die CD-ROM, die zum Lieferumfang von KIVOR TUNBOKS/INDEX gehört, enthält das Konfigurations-
und Steuerungsdienstprogramm Linntek, mit dem das Gerät über einen PC zu bedient werden kann.
Die CD-ROM enthält auch die Bedienungsanleitung für das Produkt im PDF-Format.
Um die Software zu installieren und die Bedienungsanleitung anzuzeigen, benötigen
Sie Folgendes:
PC mit CD-ROM-Laufwerk, Windows®95 oder neuere Version, Acrobat®Reader®.
So installieren Sie die Software und PDF-Dateien auf dem PC:
Kopieren Sie alle Dateien der CD-ROM in einen Ordner auf dem Computer, z. B. c:\Programme\Kivor.
Doppelklicken Sie auf das Symbol LINNTEK.exe, und die Anwendung wird ausgeführt.
Wenn auf dem PC Acrobat®Reader®installiert ist, doppelklicken Sie auf das Symbol für die
gewünschte Bedienungsanleitung. Acrobat®Reader®kann kostenlos von der Website
www.adobe.com heruntergeladen werden.
So schließen Sie den Tunboks/Index an einen PC an:
Verwenden Sie ein 9-poliges Nullmodemkabel geeigneter Länge oder ein 9-poliges Standardkabel
mit der folgenden Stiftbelegung:
Verbinden Sie an beiden Steckern jeweils die Stifte 7 mit 8 und 4 mit 6.
Verbinden Sie Stift 5 des Steckers 1 mit Stift 5 des Steckers 2.
Verbinden Sie Stift 2 des Steckers 1 mit Stift 3 des Steckers 2.
Verbinden Sie Stift 3 des Steckers 1 mit Stift 2 des Steckers 2.

El CD ROM que se incluye con el KIVOR TUNBOKS/INDEX contiene el Programa de Configuración y de
Control de Linntek para utilizar la unidad mediante un PC. En el CD ROM también se incluye el
manual del usuario del producto, en formato PDF.
Para cargar el software y leer el manual del usuario, necesitará:
PC con lector de CD ROM, Windows®95 o superior y software de Acrobat®Reader®.
Para instalar el software y los PDFs en su PC:
Copie todos los archivos del CD ROM a un directorio de su ordenador. por ejemplo “c:\archivos de

Para conectar el Tunboks/Index a su PC:
Utilice un cable de módem nulo con una longitud apropiada y nueve patillas en cada extremo o un
cable estándar de nueve patillas por extremo con la siguiente configuración:
En ambos enchufes, conecte las clavijas 7 y 8 y las clavijas 4 y 6.
Conecte la clavija 5 del enchufe 1 a la clavija 5 del enchufe 2.
Conecte la clavija 2 del enchufe 1 a la clavija 3 del enchufe 2.
Conecte la clavija 3 del enchufe 1 a la clavija 2 del enchufe 2.

Il CD in dotazione al KIVOR TUNBOKS/INDEX contiene la Linntek Setup and Control Utility per il
funzionamento dell'apparecchio tramite PC. Nel CD si trova anche il Manuale d'istruzioni in formato
PDF.
Per caricare il software e visualizzare il manuale sono necessari:
PC con lettore di CD, sistema operativo Windows®95 o successivo e software Acrobat®Reader®.
Per installare il software e i file PDF:
Copiare tutti i file presenti sul CD in una directory del computer: es., “c:\program files\Kivor”.

Utilizzare un cavo di opportuna lunghezza a 9 pin null modem o un cavo standard a 9 pin con la
seguente piedinatura:
Su entrambi i plug collegare assieme i pin 7 e 8 e 4 e 6.
Collegare il pin 5 del plug 1 al pin 5 del plug 2.
Collegare il pin 2 del plug 1 al pin 3 del plug 2.
Collegare il pin 3 del plug 1 al pin 2 del plug 2.

Op de CD ROM die met de KIVOR INDEX en TUNBOKS INDEX wordt meegeleverd, bevindt zich het
LINNTEK-hulpprogramma, waarmee de eenheid via een PC kan worden bediend. Op de CD ROM
bevindt zich tevens de gebruikershandleiding van het product, als PDF-bestand.
Om de software te kunnen gebruiken en de gebruikershandleiding te kunnen
weergeven hebt u het volgende nodig:
Een computer met CD-ROM-station, Windows®95 of later, Acrobat®Reader®-software.
Ga als volgt te werk om de software en PDF-bestanden op uw computer te
installeren:
Kopieer alle bestanden op de CD-ROM naar een map op uw computer: bijvoorbeeld “c:\program
files\Kivor”.
Dubbelklik op het pictogram LINNTEK.exe en de toepassing wordt gestart.

Als u Acrobat®Reader®op uw computer hebt, hoeft u alleen maar te dubbelklikken op het
pictogram van de gebruikershandleiding van uw keuze. Acrobat®Reader®is gratis te downloaden op

Ga als volgt te werk om de Tunboks/Index op uw computer aan te sluiten:
Gebruik een negen-tot-negen nulmodemkabel of standaard negen-tot-negen kabel met de volgende
pinconfiguratie:
Verbind op beide stekkers pin 7&8 met elkaar en pin 4&6 met elkaar.
Sluit stekker 1 pin 5 aan op stekker 2 pin 5.
Sluit stekker 1 pin 2 aan op stekker 2 pin 3.
Sluit stekker 1 pin 3 aan op stekker 2 pin 2.
PORTUGUÊS
O CD-ROM fornecido com o KIVOR TUNBOKS/INDEX contém uma Ferramenta de Instalação e
Controlo para utilização da unidade por meio de um PC. O CD-ROM também inclui o manual do
utilizador do produto, em formato PDF.
Para instalar o software e ver o manual do utilizador, irá precisar de:

pinos com a seguinte configuração dos pinos:
Em ambas as fichas, junte os pinos 7 e 8 e também os pinos 4 e 6.
Ligue o pino 5 da ficha 1 ao pino 5 da ficha 2.
Ligue o pino 2 da ficha 1 ao pino 3 da ficha 2.
Ligue o pino 3 da ficha 1 ao pino 2 da ficha 2.
