This quick start guide describes how to install and use the Hardened Etheret
switch. This is the Ethernet switch of choice for harsh environments
constrained by space.
Overview
This Series is 4 ports 10/100/1000Base-TX+ 1 port 1000Base-FX or
10/100/1000Base-TX uplink Hardened Ethernet switch. The Switch has 4 TP
ports and 1 fiber ports. TP(RJ45)supports 10/100/1000Base-T(X), FullHalf
duplex mode, and auto MDI/MDI-X connection; 1000Base-FX sup- ports 1 or, 2
core Single-mode or Multi-mode fiber. With its reliable design and ease of use
the product is a great choice for integrating networks consisting of network
devices such as IP cameras and wireless access points between remote
locations.

DIN Rail Installation
The device can be installed on a DIN rail. Installation steps are as follows:
2.Lock the upper part of the DIN rail clip on
the upper side of the track. Gently press it
until the clip is securely lockedon thetrack.
Wall Mount Installation
This devicecan also be installed on a wall or a flat surface.Installation steps are as follows:
1.Tighten the screws to fix the
wall mount bracket
2. Mount the switch on the wall or on a flat
surface with 2 screws piercing through the
mounting holes to secure it in position.
Setup
a) Connectthe Ethernet port ofthe switch to alP camera(PoE device)or network
device with anetwork cable.
b) Connectthe fiber cable from the device(media converterorswitch)ontheother
end tothe SFP portofthe converter.
c)Afterthe device is poweredon, the PWRindicatorwillall be on.Ifthe indicators
are noton,checkthe power supply connection.
d) After all cables are correctly connected, the indicators will be lit as per portstatus
LEDs.
