Always wear eye protection when performing service, maintenance or installation procedures. Other
safety equipment to consider would be hearing protection, gloves and possibly a full face shield,
depending on the nature of the task.

Introduction
Tire Linc® is a tyre pressure and temperature monitoring system (TPMS). The TPMS display issues an
alert when a caravan's tyre pressure or temperature falls out of the programmable range. The system is
operated by a handheld LCD display, and a power cord and stand are included with the LCD display kit. This
document covers the installation of the Tire Linc Tyre Pressure and Temperature Mounting System (TPMS)
repeater dock with additional instructions if a complete TPMS is provided by the OEM.

Safety
This manual provides general instructions. Many variables can change the circumstances of the instructions,
i.e., the degree of difficulty, operation and ability of the individual performing the instructions. This
manual cannot begin to plot out instructions for every possibility, but provides the general instructions,
as necessary, for effectively interfacing with the device, product or system. Failure to correctly follow the

Repeater Dock Installation
1. Locate a mounting area inside the caravan that allows connection of the Tire Linc repeater dock
(Fig.1A) to the unit's power source before the battery disconnect/constant power source without
creating a strain on the completed connection.
NOTE: Connecting Tire Linc to a power source past the disconnect will turn off the Tire Linc system if the
power source is turned off during transport.
NOTE: The Tire Linc repeater dock MUST be mounted vertically.
NOTE: OEM MUST leave film covering over posts on the repeater dock. The customer will remove the cover
before installing a repeater for the system.
2. Repeater dock mounting MUST be located in the closest compartment to the tow vehicle, e.g., the
front compartment, that is free of any metal or obstructions that could interfere with the signal and
hinder reception.
3. Vertically orient the repeater dock and secure it to the wall with two OEM-supplied M4 self-tapping
pan head screws (Fig 1B).
4. Make sure the caravan's power is off, then connect the repeater dock's red power wire (Fig. 1C) and
black ground wire (Fig. 1D) to the caravan as follows:
NOTE: If necessary, use wire strippers to expose enough of the bare wire to make a good connection.
A. Connect the repeater dock black wire to the unit ground wire.
B. Connect the repeater dock red wire to a 12V DC power supply.
C. Make sure there is an OEM-supplied 15A maximum circuit protection placed in-line between the
power supply and the power dock.
