■please make sure the rack has adequate ventilation. therwise the machine will become

1 Introduction
1-1 Features
■EDX and DMX-512 compatible.
■Up to 99 zones
■ 8 channels 0-10V DC.
■ 6 groups of scenes can be edited/saved, 8 channels can be controlled in each SC, and can
be recalled by ECP panel.

About EDX cable line:
The digital signal wiring is basically the same as RS-485 wiring. If you are not familiar with
RS-485 wiring, please check EDX wiring guide on Lite-Puter’s website:

2 Operations
2-1 ID NO. Set
Each device has a unique ID NO., when single device is used, ID NO. do not need to be adjusted;
when several devices are used, various ID NO. need to be adjusted to normally operation.
Press【FUNC】to enter menu, press【▲】/【▼】to select F1：SET ID. Press【ENT】to enter ID NO.
selection and press【▲】/【▼】to increase/decrease ID NO., Press【ENT】to save and exit.
ID No. can be set to 255(Max.).
2-2 Scene Edit
Press【FUNC】to enter menu, press【▲】/【▼】to select F2：EDIT SC . Press【ENT】to enter SC
selection and press【▲】/【▼】to select SC. Press 【▶】 to set channel and press 【▲】/【▼】
again to set channel. Press【ENT】to save and exit.
DP-8DA is able to set 6 sets of scenes that can control 8-channel outputs.
2-3 Channel Set
Press【FUNC】to enter menu, press【▲】/【▼】to select F3：EDIT CH. Press【ENT】to enter channel
selection and press【▲】/【▼】to select, press 【▶】 to channel setting, and press【▲】/【▼】
to increase/decrease the channel value.
2-4 DMX address set
tandard DMX front edge can output 512 channels, but DP-8DA intercepts consecutive 8
channels to output from them. The number of the 1
st
channel is called start channel address.
Press 【FUNC】to enter menu, press【▲】/【▼】 to select F4：SET DMX. Press【ENT】to enter
DMX address edit state, press【▲】/【▼】 to select the desired DMX, and press【ENT】to save and
exit.
NOTE: DMX setting range is 001-512.

2-5 Zone Set
Definition of Zone: The control zone number preset before the device is used.
Press【FUNC】to enter menu, press【▲】/【▼】to select F5：SET ZONE. Press【ENT】to enter zone
selection and press【▲】/【▼】to select zone, press【ENT】to exit. The range is 01-99.
Press 【▶】 t to select SUB ZONE which can be set to 255(Max.).
SUB_ZON：Channel start number of a specific zone.
For example, if SUB_ZONE=003, CH003 of ECP-103 corresponds to the first channel of DP-8DA.
2-6 Version
Press【FUNC】to enter menu, press【▲】/【▼】to select F6：VERSION . Press【ENT】to enter. After
check version press【FUNC】to exit.

Limited Warranty
1. Lite-Puter is only responsible for the product itself.
2. Lite-Puter guarantees to keep Lite-Puter’s from manufacturing defects within a year since the
distributing date.
3. Lite-Puter does not offer on-site service. If the defects appears in Lite-Puter’s product, please deliver
the product to local distributors or to Taipei headquarters.
4. The warranty does not cover:
a. Any fault caused by false usage, imprudence (collision, inadequate installation or adjustment,
insufficient ventilation, or improper repairs)
b. Force majeure factors (flooding, earthquake, thunder, volcanic eruption, tsunami or other factors
beyond Lite-Puter control).
c. The cost of installing, reinstalling, adjusting, repairing, or reprogramming the product.
d. ther products or devices which are offered by Lite-Puter or not by Lite-Puter.
5. Lite-Puter does not warrant the product will operate without interruption or being free of error.
