Chapter 1 Before Installation
■ Ventilation environment is required，if in poor ventilation, thetemperaturein sensor
will be too high to be normally operated.
■ Can be continuously used in a year.
Chapter 2 Introduction
2-1 Function
1. Built-in IR sensing probe, sense the objection within 5m.
2. Sensing mode: brightness induction mode and occupancy sensor.
3. EDX-607 or other EDX control systems are compatible.
4. The zones should be the same when external device is used
5. Up to 255 sensors can work at the same time.

2-4 About Sensor
2.4.1 Temperature range：-20℃~ +60℃
2.4.2 Detection angle and range：90℃
2.4.3 Detection range: 5m
2.4.4 Note for Using
2.4.4.1 When dust is adhesive to the lens, detection performance will be effected.
2.4.4.2 The lens is made of soft materials. After the load or shock is imposed on lens,
performance deterioration will happen.
2.4.4.3 It will be destroyed by imposing static electricity over +/-200V, thus, be avoid to
touch terminal etc. by hands during operation.
2.4.4.4 Do not clean the sensor by water, otherwise, the liquid poured into the lens will lead
to performance deterioration.
2.4.5 Precautions
DP-PIR01 is only required to be installed inside room, as the location and way of
installation matters the accuracy. The correct way of installation should be required as
below:
2.4.5.1 The sensor should be 2--2.2m far from the ground.
2.4.5.2 Far from the place where there is a temperature variation such as air-condition,
refrigerator and stove.
2.4.5.3 There should not be substances such as furniture, big-sized plant, glass and curtain
between DP-PIR01 and the detested person.
2.4.5.4 Forbidden to be directly facing the window, otherwise, false alarm will occur by heat
and persons outside.
In addition, degree of sensitivity to human body also matters direction of body movement.
The sensor is not sensitive to radial movement, but sensitive to transverse direction
movement (shown as below).
So, it is very important to install the sensor in an appropriate position to get the bestdetection.

Chapter 3 Operation
3-1 ID Setting
When DP-PIR01 is in BUS, click Read ID list and left blanket will display all DP-PIR01
connected to the current BUS:
After reading ID NO. of all DP-PIR01, to select the desired ID (click ID NO. of ID list):
The current ID of upper right corner is displayed as below:
DP-PIR01(ID NO.=31) can be read or written.
ID setting of DP-PIR01:
Set ID NO. by DIP, and the detailed meaning of each DIP is as below:

DIP.1 and DIP.4 is ON as above, means ID NO. of DP-PIR01 is 9.
3-2 Time Reading/Writing
The date and time as shown is for PC, click Write to write time in DP-PIR01.
Click Read of upper left corner, then the current time will be displayed.
3-3 Zone Reading/Writing
Click Read to read the current zone:
Enter 3 to set zone of DP-PIR01 and click Write, and then click Read to show the digit
in input box (range of zone setting is 0-100).
3-4 Mode Select
There are two sensing modes.
Brightness induction mode: to operate by sensing the current brightness;
Occupancy sensor: to operate by infrared wave from human body.
To select occupancy sensor, choose Occupancy sensor and click Write:
To view the current mode, click Read.
Zone of DP-PIR01 is 1.

3-5 Brightness Mode Setting
Click Brightness mode setting and enter the screen
Click Write to set brightness interval value of respective zone;
click Read to view the setting value of each scene:
TickAuto, and the current brightness value will be probed automatically.
When the probed value is in different scene interval, the corresponding scene will be
recalled.

3-6 Mode Setting
Click Human Body Mode setting and enter the screen:
TickAUTO, and the current occupancy sensor status will be probed automatically.
3.6.1 Time/Brightness Mode Select
Click Read/Write to set time/brightness mode.
3.6.1.1 Time Mode Select
In time mode, when human body is sensed at the moment in the setting range,
DP-PIR01 will be activated. Enter the desired time range and click Write:
The above shows the human body is sensed only from 8:00 to 17:00, DP-PIR01 will
be activated.
Click Read to view the current time range.
3.6.1.2 Brightness Mode Select

In brightness mode, when human body is sensed at the brightness value in the
setting range, DP-PIR01 will be activated. Enter the desired brightness range and click
Write:
The above shows the human body is sensed only from 0 to 200, DP-PIR01 will be activated.
Click Read to view the current brightness range.
3.6.2 Occupancy Sensor Parameter
Enter the desired occupancy sensor parameter and click Write.
Sensitivity range is 0-100, the highest sensitivity is 100.
2.6.3 Scene/Channel Mode Select
In scene mode, the scene will be recalled when DP-PIR01 is activated.
In channel mode, the output value of the channel can be changed when
DP-PIR01 is activated.
2.6.3.1 Scene
The above shows SC1 will be recalled when human body is induced (DP-PIR01 is
activated), and SC2 will be recalled when human body is not induced (DP-PIR01
is not activated).

LEVEL value of each channel will be set as above when human body is induced
(DP-PIR01 is activated); any desired channel value can be written in, and then click
Read to read it.

Limited Warranty
1. Lite-Puter is only responsible for the product itself.
2. Lite-Puter guarantees to keep Lite-Puter’s from manufacturing defects
within a year since the distributing date.
3. Lite-Puter does not offer on-site service. If the defects appears
In Lite-Puter’s product, please deliver the product to local distributors or to Taipei
headquarters.
4. The warranty does not cover:
a. Any fault caused by false usage, imprudence (collision, inadequate installation or
adjustment, insufficient ventilation, or improper repairs)
b. Forcemajeure factors (flooding, earthquake, thunder, volcanic eruption, tsunami or other
factors beyond Lite-Puter control).
c. The cost of installing, reinstalling, adjusting, repairing, or reprogramming the product.
d. Other products or devices which are offered by Lite-Puter or not by Lite-Puter.
5. Lite-Puter does not warrant the product will operate without interruption or being free of
error.
