particularlydirtysurroundingcancausegreateraccumulationofdirtontheunit’soptics.

Installation:
Theunitshouldbemountedviaitsscrewholesonthebracket.Alwaysensurethattheunitis
firmlyfixedtoavoidvibrationandslippingwhileoperating.Andmakesurethatthestructureto
whichyouareattachingtheunitissecureandisabletosupportaweightof10timesoftheunit’s
weight.Alwaysuseasafetycablethatcanhold12timesoftheweightoftheunitwheninstalling
thefixture.
Theequipmentmustbefixedbyprofessionals.Anditmustbefixedataplacewhereisoutofthe
touchofpeopleandhasnoonepassbyorunderit,therangeofmountingheightis0~30M.

7.Troubleshooting
Followingareafewcommonproblemsthatmayoccurduringoperation.Herearesome
suggestionsforeasytroubleshooting:
A.Theunitdoesnotwork,nolightandthefandoesnotwork
1. Checktheconnectionofpowerandmainfuse.
2. Measurethemainsvoltageonthemainconnector.
3. CheckthepoweronLED.
B.NotrespondingtoDMXcontroller
1. DMXLEDshouldbeon.Ifnot,checkDMXconnectors,cablestoseeiflinkproperly.
2. IftheDMXLEDisonandnoresponsetothechannel,checktheaddresssettingsandDMX
polarity.
3. IfyouhaveintermittentDMXsignalproblems,checkthepinsonconnectorsoronPCBofthe
unitorthepreviousone.
4. TrytouseanotherDMXcontroller.
5. CheckiftheDMXcablesrunnearorrunalongsidetohighvoltagecablesthatmaycause
damageorinterferencetoDMXinterfacecircuit.
C.Someunitsdon’trespondtotheeasycontroller
1. YoumayhaveabreakintheDMXcabling.ChecktheLEDfortheresponseofthemaster/
slavemodesignal.
2. WrongDMXaddressintheunit.Settheproperaddress.
D.Noresponsetothesound

6.DMX512Connection
1. Ifyouusingacontrollerwith3pinsDMXoutput,youneedtousea3to5pinadapter‐cable.
2. Atlastunit,theDMXcablehastobeterminatedwithaterminator.Soldera120ohm1/4 W 
resistorbetweenpin2(DMX‐)andpin3(DMX+)intoa3‐pinXLR‐plugandplugitinthe
DMX‐outputofthelastunit.
3. Connecttheunittogetherina`daisychain`byXLRplugfromtheoutputoftheunittothe
inputofthenextunit.Thecablecannotbranchedorsplittoa`Y`cable.DMX512isavery
high‐speedsignal.Inadequateordamagedcables,solderedjointsorcorrodedconnectorscan
easilydistortthesignalandshutdownthesystem.
4. TheDMXoutputandinputconnectorsarepass‐throughtomaintaintheDMXcircuit,when
oneoftheunits’powerisdisconnected.
5. Eachlightingunitneedstohaveanaddresssettoreceivethedatasentbythecontroller.The
addressnumberisbetween0‐511(usually0&1areequalto1).
6. TheendoftheDMX512systemshouldbeterminatedtoreducesignalerrors.
7. 3pinXLRconnectorsaremorepopularthan5pinXLR.

WhenusingauniversalDMXcontrollertocontroltheunits,setDMXaddressoneachunitinthe
range1to512channelsothattheunitscanreceiveDMXsignal.
PresstheMENUbuttonuptowhentheisshowingonthedisplay.PressingENTERbutton
andthedisplaywillblink.UseDOWNandUPbuttontochangetheDMX512address.Oncethe
addresshasbeenselected,pressandkeepENTERbuttonpresseduptowhenthedisplaystops
blinkingorstoringautomatically8secondslater.Togobacktothefunctionswithoutanychange
presstheMENUbuttonagain.

4.HowToControlTheUnit
Operatetheunitinoneofthreeways:
1.Master/slavebuilt‐inpreprogramfunction
2.Easycontroller
3.UniversalDMXcontroller
ThereisnoneedtoturntheunitoffwhenchangingtheDMXaddress,thenewDMXaddress
settingwilltakeeffectimmediately.Everytimetheunitisturnedon,willshowonthe
displaywhilethefixtureisinitializedthiscantakeupto20seconds.Afterthattheunitwillbe
readytoreceiveDMXsignalorrunthebuiltinprograms.
4.1Master/SlaveBuiltInPreprogrammedFunction
Bylinkingtheunitsinmaster/slaveconnection,thefirstunitwillcontroltheotherunitstogivean
automatic,soundactivated,synchronizedlightshow.Thisfunctionisgoodwhenaninstantshowis
needed.Setthefirstunitinmastermodeandselect(randomshow)or  (show1)or…
or(show12)mode.ItsDMXinputjackwillhavenothingpluggedintoit,anditsmasterLED
willbeconstantlyonandsoundLEDwillflashtothemusic.Theotherunitswillhavetosetinslave
modeandselect  (normal)or  (2‐lightshow)mode,TheirDMXcablesplugged
intotheDMXinputjacks(daisychain)andtheslaveledlightswillconstantlyon.
2‐lightshow
In  (slavemode),  meanstheunitworksnormallyand  means15‐lightshow.In
ordertocreateagreatlightshow,youcansetonthefifteenthunittogetcontrast
movementtoeachother,evenifyouhavetwounitsonly.

DMX512ADDRESS
Toselectthe,presstheENTERbuttontoshowtheDMXADDRESSonthedisplay.Usethe
DOWN/UPbuttontoadjusttheaddressfrom1to512.Oncetheaddresshasbeenselected,press
theENTERbuttontosetup,togobacktothefunctionswithoutanychangespresstheMENU
buttonagain.HoldandpresstheMENUbuttonforonesecondorwaitforoneminutetoexitthe
menumode.

CHANNELMODE
Toselectthe,presstheENTERbuttontoshowtheCHANNELMODEonthedisplay.Usethe
DOWN/UPbuttontoselectthe1,2,10,12channelmodes.Oncethemodehasbeenselected,
presstheENTERbuttontosetup,togobacktothefunctionswithoutanychangespresstheMENU
buttonagain.HoldandpresstheMENUbuttonforonesecondorwaitforoneminutetoexitthe
menumode.
SLAVEMODE
Toselectthe,presstheENTERbuttontoshowtheSLAVEMODEonthedisplay.Usethe
DOWN/UPbuttontoselectthe(SLAVE1),  (SLAVE2)modes.Oncethemodehas
beenselected,presstheENTERbuttontosetup,togobacktothefunctionswithoutanychanges
presstheMENUbuttonagain.HoldandpresstheMENUbuttonforonesecondorwaitforone
minutetoexitthemenumode.
SHOWMODE
Toselectthe,presstheENTERbuttontoshowtheSHOWMODEonthedisplay.Usethe
DOWN/UPbuttontoselectthe(Randomshow),  (Show1)or…or(Show
12)modeand(Manualshow).Oncethemodehasbeenselected,presstheENTERbutton
tosetup,togobacktothefunctionswithoutanychangespresstheMENUbuttonagain.Holdand
presstheMENUbuttonforonesecondorwaitforoneminutetoexitthemenumode.

Toselectthe,presstheENTERbuttontoshowtheMANUALMODEonthedisplay.Usethe
DOWN/UPbuttontoselectthe(Dimmer)or  (Strobe).Oncethemodehasbeen
selected,presstheENTERbutton,andusetheDOWNandUPbuttontoadjustthevalue(0‐255).
Onceselected,presstheENTERbuttontosetup,togobacktothefunctionswithoutanychanges
presstheMENUbuttonagain.HoldandpresstheMENUbuttonforonesecondorwaitforone
minutetoexitthemenumode.

SOUNDMODE
Toselectthe,presstheENTERbuttontoshowtheSOUNDMODEonthedisplay.Usethe
DOWN/UPbuttontoselectthe(soundon)or  (soundoff)mode.Oncethemode
hasbeenselected,presstheENTERbuttontosetup,togobacktothefunctionswithoutany
changespresstheMENUbuttonagain.HoldandpresstheMENUbuttonforonesecondorwait
foroneminutetoexitthemenumode.

BLACKOUTMODE
Toselectthe,presstheENTERbuttontoshowtheBALCKOUTMODEonthedisplay.Use
theDOWN/UPbuttontoselectthe(blackout)or  (normal)mode.Oncethe
modehasbeenselected,presstheENTERbuttontosetup,togobacktothefunctionswithoutany
changespresstheMENUbuttonagain.HoldandpresstheMENUbuttonforonesecondorwait
foroneminutetoexitthemenumode.

LEDDISPLAY
Toselectthe,presstheENTERbuttontoshowtheLEDDISPLAYonthedisplay.Usethe
DOWN/UPbuttontoselectthe(LEDon)or(LEDoff)mode.Oncethemodehas
beenselected,presstheENTERbuttontosetup,togobacktothefunctionswithoutanychanges
presstheMENUbuttonagain.HoldandpresstheMENUbuttonforonesecondorwaitforone
minutetoexitthemenumode.

aself‐test.TogobacktothefunctionswithoutanychangespresstheMENUbuttonagain.Hold
andpresstheMENUbuttonforonesecondorwaitforoneminutetoexitthemenumode.

TEMP.
Toselectthe,presstheENTERbuttontoshowtheTEMP.onthedisplayandthedisplay
willshowthetemperatureoftheunit.Togobacktothefunctionswithoutanychangespressthe
MENUbuttonagain.HoldandpresstheMENUbuttonforonesecondorwaitforoneminuteto
exitthemenumode.
FIXTUREHOURS
Toselectthe,presstheENTERbuttontoshowtheFIXTUREHOURSonthedisplayandthe
displaywillshowthenumberofworkinghoursoftheunit.Togobacktothefunctionswithout
anychangespresstheMENUbuttonagain.HoldandpresstheMENUbuttonforonesecondor
waitforoneminutetoexitthemenumode.

SOFTWAREVERSION
Toselectthe,presstheENTERbuttontoshowtheSOFTWAREVERSIONonthedisplayand
thedisplaywillshowtheversionofsoftwareoftheunit.Togobacktothefunctionswithoutany
changespresstheMENUbuttonagain.HoldandpresstheMENUbuttonforonesecondorwait
foroneminutetoexitthemenumode.
