SLO1568isLitemax’sfirstsmartpaneldesignwhichiscomposedoftheamorphoussiliconthin
filmtransistorliquidcrystaldisplay(a‐SiTFTLCD)panelstructurewithbuilt‐inLEDdrivingboard
fordrivingtheTFT(ThinFilmTransistor)arrayandabacklightmoduleandalsoequipswith
LitemaxAD5621GAADboardmountingholesanditsupgradeablecapability.
TheSLO1568’sa‐SiTFTLCDpanelstructureisinjectedwidetemperatureliquidcrystalmaterial
intoanarrowgapbetweentheTFTarrayglasssubstrateandacolor‐filterglasssubstrate.Color
(Red,Green,Blue)datasignalsfromahostsystem(e.g.PC,signalgenerator,etc.)aremodulated
intobestformforactivematrixsystembyasignalprocessingboard,andsenttothedriverLSIs
whichdrivetheindividualTFTarrays.TheTFTarrayasanelectro‐opticalswitchregulatesthe
amountoftransmittedlightfromthebacklightassembly,whenitiscontrolledbydatasignals.
ColorimagesarecreatedbyregulatingtheamountoftransmittedlightthroughtheTFTarrayof
red,greenandbluedots.Ithasa15inchdiagonallymeasuredactivedisplayareawithXGA
solution(1024horizontalby768verticalpixelarray).
