General Instructions
PLEASE, TAKE TIME TO READ WELL THE INSTRUCTIONS FOR
USE PARTICULARLY BEFORE THE FIRST USE.
A misuse of t e appliance can damage it or urt t e user.
Assure t at you use t e appliance for t e use for w ic it is
designed; we refuse any responsibilities as for t e damages by
an incorrect use or a bad manipulation.

Important Information

20 seconds.

Keep t e upper lid of t e appliance unlocked w en not in use.
Extension cords are not pro ibited from being used w en care
is exercised in t eir use. T e longer cord s all be arranged so
t at it does not drape over t e counter-top or tabletop w ere
it is capable of being tripped over, snagged, or pulled on
unintentionally, especially by c ildren.

USE
Remark:
You can use supplied plastic film of DOM421 or plastic bag but t e widt s all not exceed 28cm.
T e plastic film as to present points or grooves on one of t e bot surfaces, a totally smoot surface
does not suit.
T e t ickness as to be 0,20mm, c eck too, please, t e range of temperature for w ic t e plastic film
or bag is designed (t e ideal is from -20°C to +110°C).
If you use plastic bag, use special plastic bags to be used for all kinds of vacuum packing (vegetable,
meat, condiment, dried fis , biscuits…).
To make bags from the plastic film supplies:
1. You can completely open t e cover by pulling t e bot side locks, t en you can use integrated
cutting blade to cut t e special supplied plastic film at t e size you want and to place it well on
t e ot wire.
2. Lower t e cover and lock it by pressing on bot side locks.
3. Plug in t e appliance.
Note: caution! Hot surface, do not touch the hot wire.
ake sure you give the appliance time to cool down. Wait at least 7 seconds between seals
4. Press single seal button (“scellage”) and cover is lowered automatically, sealing progress lig t bar
allows you to follow t e bag sealing.
5. After sealing, cover is opened.

At this moment you can start to vacuum food:
Note: if you use plastic bag, you do not have to respect the stages above
1. Put plastic bag wit t e food in t e sealing groove (food s all not be more t an t ree-quarters of
t e plastic bag).
2. Press mode button (“aliments secs/aliments umides”) once to c oose dry (blue lig t) or twice
wet function (red lig t), it depends on your food (biscuit or bread is dry food, fis or meat is wet
food).
Note:
•It is recommended to use the continuous device during no more than 20 seconds.
•For t e ig temperature food packaging, to prevent burns, please cool down after t e
packaging.
•The part where you want to seal the bag owes remained clean and exempt from food.
Also watch not to wrinkle the bag
•If you want to put t e vacuum-packed food in a microwave, must first punc a ole in t e
plastic bag.
•After-party vacuum packaging of food, placed in t e refrigerated immediately or froze it.
•Liquid food, it must not be vacuum packed wit plastic bag, only need to be sealed.
3. Press t e vacuum seal button (“mise sous vide et scellage”): suitable for food w ic need large
suction force suc as cereal.
Or soft seal button (“aliments fragiles”): suitable for food w ic is lower vacuum degree suc as
bread.
Cover is lowered automatically. T e vacuum pump is running, t e air inside t e bag will be
disc arged to t e outside. Sealing progress lig t bar allows you to follow t e bag sealing.
Note: if you want to stop running, please press stop button. If any dysfunction during vacuum process,
you ave just to unplug appliance and try again.
4. Once t e vacuum is complete, t e green lig t turns red, t e sealing function automatically
activates.
5. After sealing, cover is opened and you can remove t e vacuum-packed bags.
External vacuum (button “mise sous vide externe”):
1. To vacuum t e food in vacuum canister (not supplied): you ave to use supplied vacuum tube
and adaptor wit DOM420. You can fix supplied adaptor on specific ole on appliance side and
t e ot er part supplied wit your canister ave to be fix on t e canister.
2. You can press external vacuum button.

CLEANING AND STORAGE
1. Always unplug t e unit before cleaning.
2. Do not immerse in water.
3. Do not use abrasives to clean t e unit.
4. Wipe t e outer surface wit a soft, damp clot and soap.
5. To clean t e inside of t e unit, wipe away any food or liquid wit a paper towel.
6. Keep t e cover of t e appliance unlocked w en not in use.

are broken.
4. Examine t e food materials, if moisture or liquid arise from t ese food
materials, Cut bag open and re-seal, or c ange into a new bag.
5. Please c eck w et er t e air suction is blocked.
6. Please c eck w et er to use special plastic bags.

7. If t e use of plastic bags is too t in, t e air may penetrate t e plastic bag
inside, so please use t e special bag.
8. Plastic bags containing food (itself distributing gas), mig t seem vacuum
disappears.
