1) Be sure that Logitech Alert Commander sotware is running on the PC
before beginning installation of camera.
On a window looking out or in
Clean the window's surface and the inside area of the suction cup before
applying it to the window. Periodically press the suction cup against the
glass to strengthen i ts bond to the window .

Power Supply Install Note
Do NOT plug the power supply into a surge protector or power strip as they interfere
with the cameras. Surge protectors are built-in to the power supply and protect the
cameras.
The power supply must be plugged directly into your wall outlet.
2 Plug in Your Camera 3 Choose
Your Camera Location
When prompted to connect your camera:
1} Remove the hatch from the back of the camera. 1 a} Plug the yellow cable connector into the port. 1 b) Use the lock slider to lock the connector in place.
2) Plug the yellow cable into the power supply port. 2a) Pl ug the power supply into an outlet near the PC where the software is installed.

Short ly after connecting, your camera will appear in Alert Commander so ftw are. You can n ow move the camera to its desired location.

Wall/Ceiling Mounting Instructions
On a desk or table
The wall mount allows you to easily fasten your camera to aceiling or wa ll . 1) Start by pre -drilling holes into the wall and screwing in the mounting base. 2) Assemble
the mounti ng arm and attach it to the base. 3) Attach the camera to the mounting arm.

You can use the mini-suction cup and cable wall clips to help route the
power supply cable (yellow connector) along the window's edge
and
provide additional security to that camera.

Camera Diagnostic LED

Using the microSDTM card adapter
NOTE: Unplug the camera before removing, replacing. or upgrading your
microSD card.
To review the video on t he microSD card. we recommend using Logitech
Alert Commander
To review the video on t he microSD card without logitech Alert
Commander:
1) Open the hatch on the bottom ofthe camera and remove the microSD
card from its port.
2) Plug the microSD card into the adapter.
3) Plug the adapter in to the PC's SO card slot.

View video recordings using the free Apple Qu icklime player or other
player that supports H .264 video playback. (To download Quick l ime, vi sit
http://WNW.apple.com/quicktime/download/)
CD
microSD card must be installed in the camera for recording to
occur.
Troubleshooting camera connection :
What if camera/video disappears?
1) Test another outlet fo r your camera. perhaps one closer to your PC.
2) Verify that the camera power supp ly and the network bridge are pl ugged
directlyinto a power outlet and not a power strip.
3) Check firewall settings or press the F1 key in Commander Software for
additional help.
4) Go to Settings> Cameras> Add/F i nd >F ind Came r as.
5) Reset the camera. See instructi ons in "Camera Reset Instruc t ions."

Camera Reset Instructions
Insert a paper clip into the reset hole located on the back ofthe camera and
press gently and then release.
If the camera does not appear aft er reset. go to Settings > Cameras>
Ad d/F i nd >Find Cameras. If the camera still does not operate, contact
tech n ical support.
Resetting the
camera will restore the camera to factory settings. However. it
will not delete video recorded on the microSD card.

AC Powered Products: Important Safety Information

• Install in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions.

• Maintain a minimum distance of at least 6 inches around device for sufficient ventilation.
• Ventilation

• Logitech Alert Camera is intended for indoor use only.
POWER SUPPLY WARNING
Your product has a power supply so please follow these safety guidelines:
• The power supply is for indoor use only.
• Use the power supply that comes with your product; do not use any other power supply.
• Do not use power supply with any other product except the Alert camera.
• Do not use a damaged power supply or attempt to repair one that is damaged.
• Do not immerse the power supply in water or subject it to physical abuse.
• Inspect the power supply regularly for damage to its cable, plug, and body.

Logitech Alert Product Limited Warranty
Logitech warrants that your Logitech hardware product shall be free from defects in material and workmanship for one (1) year, beginning from the date of purchase.
Except where prohibited by applicable law, this warranty is nontransferable and is limited to the original purchaser. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you
may also have other rights that vary under local laws.
Remedies
Logitech's entire liability and your exdusive remedy for any breach of warranty shall be, at Logitech's option, {1) to repair or replace the hardware, or (2} to refund the
price paid, provided that the hardware is returned to the point of purchase or such other place as Logitech may direct with a copy of the sales receipt or dated itemized
receipt. Shipping and handling charges may apply except where prohibited by applicable law. Logitech may, at its option, use new or refurbished or used parts in good
working condition
to repair or replace any hardware product. Any replacement hardware product will be warranted for the remainder of the original warranty period or
thirty {30) days, whichever is longer or for any additional pericx:l of time that may be applicable in your JUrisdiction.
This warranty does not cover problems or damage resulting from {1) accident, abuse, misapplication, or any unauthorized repair, modification or disassembly; {2)
improper operation or maintenance, usage not in accordance with product instructions or connection to improper voltage supply; or (3} use of consumables, such as
replacement batteries, not supplied by Logitech except where such restriction is prohibited by applicable law.
