

equipmentwithsignificantinductiveloadssuch
asmotorsandfluorescentlamps.

recommendedforlongerbackuptimeand
longerbatterylife.
zDonotplacetheUPSnearexcessivehumidity,
undersunshineorclosetoheatemitting
sources.
zIftheUPSisoutoforder,detachthepower
cordandconsultyourdealerrightaway.Donot
removecover,thereisnoserviceablepart
inside.
zTheunitshouldbesuppliedbyagrounded
source.Donotoperatetheunitwithouta
groundsource.
zThesocketshouldbeinstallednearthe
equipmentandbeeasilyaccessible.
zDonotplugtheUPSpowercordintoitself.

3.INSTALLATION

TheUPSmustbeinstalledinaprotected
environmentawayfromheatemitting
appliancessuchasaradiatororheater.Do
notinstallthisproductwhereexcessive
moistureispresent.



Caution:Neverconnectalaserprinteror
plottertotheUPS.Alaserprinterorplotter
periodicallydrawssignificantlymorepower
thatitsidlestatus,andmayoverloadthe
UPS.


zWhentheUPSisconnectedtothe
Utility,butUPSisnotpoweredon,UPS
willchargebatteryautomaticallyand
LCDdisplaywillshow“UPSOFF”.Please
pressmainswitchonfrontpanelfor1
secondtoturnonUPS.

zToturnoffUPSwhenUPSisunderAC
mode,pleasepressmainswitchonfront
panelfor4seconds.To turnoffUPS
whenUPSisunderbatterymode,press
mainswitchandthenUPSwillshut
downcompletelyin10seconds.



zThisUPSisdesignedwithOffMode
charging,soUPSwillchargebattery
continuouslywhenUPSisunderAC
normal.IfusersintendtopoweroffUPS
completely,usershavetoplugoutpower
cordfromtheUtility.
zPressonmainswitchfor4secondswhen
theUtilityisblackout,UPSwillbeturned
onandthengotobackupmode.Toturn
offtheUPS,pleasepressmainswitchfor4
secondsagain.IfuserswanttoturnonUPS
again,pleasewaitfor10secondstopress
mainswitchfor4secondsagain.
zWhenUPSisunderbatterymodeand
batteryvoltageistoohighortoolow,
buzzerwillbeep.
zBuzzerwillbeeptwiceevery8seconds
whentheUtilityisblackout.To silence
alarm,pleasesimplypressmainswitch.To 
restartalarm,pleasepressmainswitch
again.

6.STORAGE

Toensurebatterylifetime,pleasekindlyread
andalsofollowbelowinstructioncompletely.

TheUPSisshippedfromthefactorywithits
internalbatteryfullycharged,however,some
chargemaybelostduringshippingandthe
batteryshouldberechargedpriortouse.Plug
theUPSintoanappropriatepowersupplyand
allowtheUPStochargefullybyleavingit
pluggedinforatleast10hours.

