WIRING REQUIREMENTS
DESCRIPTION
The MS-D1 Mute Switch is an accessory for all Louroe Digifact Audio Monitoring/Audio Surveillance Systems when
microphone muting is required remotely from any Digifact hardware with a microphone. The MS-D1 contains a built-in
rocker switch with a Green L.E.D. mounted to a single gang stainless steel face plate. It is easy to setup in any
environment using 2 pairs of Cat5e or Cat6 cabling. The MS-D1 is used to mute or disable the audio feed to any
Digifact E hardware. It disables the audio stream from processing audio in the Digifact hardware, which prevents the
operator from listening in to the microphone. The MS-D1 fits into a single gang back box (not included) for mounting, on
a flat surface or in a wall.
Login to the Louroe’s Digifact Software Portal interface for the Digifact hardware you want to add Audio Muting too.
Select the following settings from the (Output Settings Tab), 1.) Select Trigger Source and set it to (Input 1), 2.)
Select Output Port, set it to (Digital Mute). When finished, disconnect the RJ45 cable to your Digifact Hardware, set
the MS-D1 switch to the OFF position. Follow the wiring Diagram 1A. on page 2 for all wiring connectivity between the
MS-D1 digital controlled mute switch and your Digifact hardware. Testing: 1.) Reconnect the RJ45 cable and wait for
the Digifact hardware to power-up, now set the MS-D1 to the on position, the Green L.E.D. should turn on indicating
the Digifact hardware audio stream is muted.

WARRANTY
LOUROE ELECTRONICS warrants that at the time of shipment products manufactured by LOUROE ELECTRONICS to be free of defects in material and workmanship.
Should a defect appear within two year (24 months) from date of shipment, LOUROE ELECTRONICS will, at its sole discretion, repair or replace the defective equipment.
This equipment shall not be accepted for repair or return without prior notification by LOUROE ELECTRONICS .
This warranty does not extend to any Louroe product that has been subjected to improper or incorrect installation, misuse, accident, or in violation of installation
instructions provided by LOUROE ELECTRONICS.
Returned shipments to LOUROE ELECTRONICS shall be at customer’s expense. LOUROE ELECTRONICS will return the equipment prepaid via best way.

When the TOP part of the switch is
pressed IN, the switch will illuminate
indicating the microphone
is live and active.
GREEN
When the LOWER part of switch is
pressed IN, the Green L.E.D. turns off,
indicating power to the microphone is
OFF and the microphone is disabled.
Connectivity
1.) Disconnect the RJ45 cable from the Digifact hardware. 2.) Wire the
Terminal block TB-1 and TB-2 as shown below in Diagram 1A.. 3.) Wire the
10 position Digital I/O, Power Terminal Block as shown below in Diagram 1A..
