General Information
Table Management Systems are on-prem se systems used to ncrease eff c ency by alert ng staff of the seat-
ng ava lab l ty w th n the establ shment. The LRS TX-14C updater and R1201 rece ver ntegrate w th these
Table Management Systems to enable restaurant staff to w relessly update the status of tables w th a com-
pact w reless dev ce.
· The current status of each table s always ava lable to the hostess stat on.
· Status can be changed from the floor or the hostess stat on.
· The T7470-C232 rece ver s updated d rectly through a rad o transm tter located n the TX-
14C hand held keypad.

Installation and Setup
Transmitter Installation
CAUTION
:
Do not mount the TX-14C transmitter or T7470-C232 receiver antennas near an large metal objects.
NOTE: The TX-14C transmitter shou d be charging whenever not in use.
1. Unwrap a TX-14C transmitter and T7470-C232 receiver components.
2. The TX-14C transmitter is portab e and battery powered. It is charged in the same power charger
used for LRS padd e and star pagers.
3. Connect the antenna (about 3” ong) onto the connector on the back of the receiver. It is best to
mount the antenna pointing straight up, perpendicu ar to the ground.
4. Mount the receiver convenient to a 110/220V power and near the host computer.
5. P ug the power supp y into standard 110V/220V out et and the barre connector end into the side
ho e on the T7470-C232 receiver.
6. Connect the RS-232 cab e from the T7470-C232 receiver to the host computer.
7. Upon comp etion, perform the initia ization on the host computer system (per manufacturer’s
specifications).

TX-14C Keypad Functions
Before you beg n us ng the TX-14C handheld transm tter, read the follow ng keypad descr pt ons.
Functions Keys
Clears the table from the Host Rece ver l st.
To des gnate a table as seated, enter the table number and press SEAT
L sts the table as ready on the Host Rece ver.
To mark a table as Open and ready to be Seated, enter the table num-
ber and press OPEN
Sends the hold command to the Host Rece ver.
To mark a table as Closed, enter the table number and press CLOSE
Transfers a party from one table to another
To move a party from one table to another, enter the table number
you w sh to transfer from, press TRNSFR, enter the number of the
table you w sh to transfer the party to, press ENTER (Table# -
Transfer - Table # - Enter).
Sends the Bus command to the Host rece ver.
When a table s be ng bussed, enter the table number and press BUS
Clears the nput to restart a new command
Checks funct ons of the TX-14C handheld: Vers on Check, Battery Level,
Handheld Reset, and Range Test,
Completes the Transfer funct on.
Number Number
The number keys (1 – 0) are used to enter table numbers.
Test and Reset Functions
Version Chec
Press 5 then the TEST key to check the vers on.
Battery Chec
Press the TEST key to check the battery. The d splay shows a number to nd cate the battery charge (5 s
fully charged and 1 s very weak).
Reset
If the battery has been allowed to totally d scharge, t may be necessary to reset the TX-14C for t to func-
t on properly. To reset the TX-14C:
1. Put the TX-14C on charge.
2. After the TX-14C s charged, enter 0-7-6 on the keypad.
3. Press the Test button.
Range Test
The operat ng range of the un t can be checked by send ng cont nuous open and close commands to the re-
ce ver wh le mov ng around the test area. To start the test, press 1-2-3 TEST. To end the test press CLR
(Clear).

Long Range Systems, LLC perm ts a one-year manufacturer’s warranty fol-
low ng the or g nal consumer purchase date of any LRS system. Any nd -
vdual components or products purchased w ll rece ve a 30-day manufacture
warranty. Th s warranty covers any defects due to faulty mater al or work-
mansh p, but does not nclude damage to the product result ng from acc -
dent, m suse or mproper electr cal connect on. If the product or system
should become defect ve w th n the warranty per od, we w ll repa r or re-
place w th equ valent equ pment, free of charge. We w ll pay transporta-
t on charges to return your product v a standard FedEx Ground sh pp ng,
