Place the upholstered box spring on a dry and protected surface.
Unscrew and remove the wooden transport slats. These are only for transporting the box spring.
Remove the bolts from the mounting holes (see photo below).
Now, take the frame.
Leaving the cable ties in place, mount the legs/wheels under the frame.

Put the metal frame in the correct position on the box spring. Pictograms show the head and foot
ends on the frame and on the box spring.
Remove all red cable ties, including those securing the mains cable and the remote control.
Do not cut the 2 white cable ties on the ends of the metal frame as yet. This makes it easier to turn
the box spring.
Now, take the 4 long Allen bolts supplied and use them to attach the frame to the middle part of the
box spring (see photo below).
Do not tighten the bolts as yet.

Next, also screw in all the bolts that were loosened earlier.
When all the bolts are in place, tighten them.
Mount the hook-on fittings for the headboard and the foot bracket, if using.
Make sure that the mains cable is free.
Now, turn the box spring over and cut the white cable ties on both ends.
Connect the power cord to a wall outlet and insert the batteries into the remote control.

Mounting the optional foot bracket
Place the box spring bottom side up on a mattress.
Now place the foot bracket and position it nicely in the middle.
Fasten the foot bracket with the seven screws supplied.

If the status LED and the backlight of the remote control are flashing, the remote control has not yet
been synched to the motor.
Briefly press the learning button on the motor.
Now press the “back motor up” button until the motor adjusts; the programming process is now
complete.
If the motor does not adjust within 15 seconds, briefly press the motor learning button again and
press and hold the “motor back up” button until the motor adjusts.

System reset
Press and hold the motor's learning button until it adjusts (this happens after about ten seconds).
On the remote control, press and hold the first three buttons on the left of the remote simultaneously
(1, 3, 5) until the status LED emits a steady light (this takes about five seconds).
Now, if you release the buttons, the status LED and the buttons will start flashing again.
The motor and remote control have now been reset to factory settings.
Synchronising two Comfort Lifts
If both box springs already operate separately on their own remote control, it will be necessary to
disconnect one of them.
This is done on the right box spring.
On the right-hand remote control, press and hold buttons 1, 3 and 5 simultaneously (i.e., “back up”,
“legs up” and “tilt up”).
The status LED will start to flash and will display a steady light after about five seconds.
Release the buttons; the remote on the right is now disconnected from the box spring on the right.
Now, take out the batteries, as this remote control is not usable anymore.
We will now connect the remote control for the left box spring to the right box spring.
Press and hold buttons 1 and 2 (i.e., “back up” and “back down”) on the left remote control until the
status LED at the top and the general backlight flash alternately.
Now, press the learning button on the right motor for about 3 seconds and then release it.
The procedure is successful if the motor adjusts briefly.
Now, the box springs work synchronously.
