Congratulations on your purchase of LSI’s award winning BP75
series beam projector. You have chosen the premier beam
projector available today. This innovative design will afford you
high-end performance coupled with simplistic aiming, image
projection and focusing. Due to our stringent optical train
design, you will find your projections to be, hands down,
sharper than all other competitor’s products, whether using our
narrow (15°-25° beam spread) or our wide (25°-40° beam
spread) lens assemblies with LSI’s Cool-Touch©focusing tabs.
You will appreciate the ease of maintenance, from the push-
button relamping to the easy-glide focusing and the full motion
image framing, all designed with you in mind. We are confident
the BP75 will meet your projection needs for many years to
come. Please read these instructions, in their entirety, before
using your new BP75.

Lamp Installation/Relamping(Cont’d)
1) Press relamping button to release lamp housing and pull lamp housing back and down.
2) Lift up and pull back to disengage the lamp-housing hinge. Pull lamp housing straight back to remove.
3) Pull and hold back the Lamp Retaining Clip and pull the lamp straight out to remove.
4) Hold Back the Lamp Retaining Clip and Align the Lamp Base with the Lamp Locator Bracket and carefully press
lamp into socket until lamp seats on lamp centering bracket. (NOTE: Due to pin alignment in lamp, it is
sometimes necessary to rotate lamp 180
°
to insert easily into socket.)
5) Reverse steps 1 and 2 to reinstall lamp housing.
Lens Assembly Installation
Align lens assembly mounting tabs and insert into lens assembly mounting slots. Rotate clockwise until lens
assembly locking tab “clicks” into place. To remove, press and hold lens assembly locking tab and rotate lens
counter-clockwise.
Accessory Cartridge Installation
Projection patterns for the BP75 Series are manufactured by others and are theatrical industry standard “D” size (not
LSI “D” size). The BP75 has been designed to accept a double combination of any metal or glass patterns or dichroic
color filters sized from 1.937” (48mm) to 2.100” (53mm) overall diameter, with a maximum image diameter of 1.574”
(40mm) and a maximum edge thickness of 0.125” (3.18mm).
1) Remove one gobo holder by simply rotating in a counter-clockwise direction.
2) Holding accessory cartridge in a horizontal position, place color filter or glass or metal gobo into center of the
accessory cartridge, ensuring it is positioned as close to center as possible. The gobo must be placed in the
accessory cartridge upside down and backwards for the projection to be in the proper orientation.
3) Reinstall the gobo holder by simply rotating in a clockwise direction. If you experience any difficulty threading the
gobo holder into the accessory cartridge, rotate it in a counter-clockwise direction until it seats properly.
4) Repeat steps, if required, to install a second accessory.
5) Adjust image rotation handle to properly orient image.

Image Focusing (cont’d)
1) Aim fixture to position image to the desired location.
2) Gently squeeze the cool-touch lens adjustment tabs to size the image. The image size adjustment is controlled
by the lens closest to the fixture housing (short slot).
3) After proper image size has been set, adjust image focus to suit. The image focus adjustment is controlled by the
lens furthest from the fixture (long slot).
Image Ring/Gel Holder
1) Cut desired Gel/Screen to approximately 1-3/4 inches square.
2) Insert one corner of Gel/Screen under Gel Ring.
3) Bend the other corner of Gel/Screen and position under Gel Ring.
Lens Assembly Maintenance
1) Excess dust may be cleaned from lenses with the use of a can of compressed air. Care must be taken so as
not to directly contact the lenses with fingers or any foreign substance, as this could damage the
coatings and make cleaning difficult.
2) Occasional lubrication of the nylon bearings may be required. This is simply the addition of one drop of common
20 weight household lubricant on the guide rails, between the bearings, on each lensholder assembly.
Framing Shutter Adjustment/Removal
The full motion framing shutters allow an unlimited array of geometric shapes to accent virtually any object. They are
also removable should your application require a more sleek fixture appearance.
