Inbetriebnahme:
Entfernen Sie die Folie von den Moosgummifüßchen
und kleben Sie diese unter die Unterschale.
Füllen Sie die Unterschale am Aufstellungsort bis
ca. 2 cm unter den Rand mit Wasser (Bild 1).
3Drehen Sie jetzt die Oberschale um und verbinden Sie,
sofern nicht schon vormontiert, den Schlauch mit dem
inneren Oberschalen-Stutzen (Bild 2). (Anfeuchten des
Schlauches erleichtert das Aufstecken.)
4Ziehen Sie den Winkelstutzen von der Pumpe und
verbinden Sie ihn mit dem anderen Schlauchende.
5Platzieren Sie die Pumpe etwa in der Mitte der gefüll-
ten Unterschale und drücken Sie sie fest an (Bild 3).
6Nehmen Sie die Oberschale mit dem jetzt herab-
hängenden Schlauch in eine Hand und stecken Sie mit
der anderen Hand den Winkelstutzen am Schlauchende
wieder in die Öffnung der Pumpe. Der Winkelstutzen
zeigt dabei nach hinten in Richtung des Kabels.
7Führen Sie das Kabel der Pumpe entlang der vorge-
sehenen Aussparungen von Ober- und Unterschale.
8Setzen Sie die Oberschale nun vorsichtig auf die
Unterschale und drücken Sie sie bis auf den Silikon-
ring an (Bild 4).
9Stecken Sie den Netzstecker ein. Fertig.

Bei einem ordnungsgemäßen Gebrauch werden Sie und
Ihre Katze lange Zeit viel Freude mit dem Lucky-Kitty®
Katzenbrunnen haben.

Wichtige Sicherheits- und Pflegehinweise:
– Überprüfen Sie regelmäßig das Kabel auf Biss- oder
Knabberspuren oder andere defekte Stellen.
– Lassen Sie Kinder niemals unbeaufsichtigt in die Nähe
des Katzenbrunnens.
– Ziehen Sie bei allen Arbeiten am Lucky-Kitty® Katzen-
brunnen immer den Netzstecker aus der Steckdose.
– Entfernen Sie den Stecker niemals durch Ziehen am
Kabel.
– Verwenden Sie den Brunnen nicht im Freien.
– Schließen Sie den Brunnen auf keinen Fall an, wenn
Kabel oder Stecker beschädigt sind.
– Achten Sie darauf, dass der Netzstecker nicht nass wird
oder nass eingesteckt wird. Die Steckdose sollte immer
höher liegen als der Standort des Brunnens.
– Versuchen Sie bitte nicht, den Pumpenmotor selbst
zu reparieren.
– Lassen Sie die Pumpe niemals trocken laufen – bei einem
Defekt verfällt Ihr Anspruch auf Garantieleistungen.
– Reinigen Sie die Pumpe mindestens einmal pro Woche
(siehe Anleitung auf folgender Seite).
– Wechseln Sie, je nach Trinkverhalten und Anzahl der
Katzen, spätestens alle zwei bis drei Tage das Wasser
komplett aus.
– Bei Nichtbeachtung der oben genannten Sicherheits-
und Pflegehinweise übernehmen wir keine Haftung für
entstehende Schäden!
Im Betrieb:
Durch den Lucky-Kitty® Katzenbrunnen hat Ihre Katze
immer fließendes Wasser, das durch Umwälzung sauer-
stoffreich ist. Der Lucky-Kitty® Katzenbrunnen arbeitet
ohne teure Filtersysteme. Sie sollten das Wasser deshalb
regelmäßig – spätestens alle zwei bis drei Tage – wechseln.
Mindestens einmal pro Woche sollten Sie Brunnen und
Pumpe gründlich reinigen, wie wir es auf der folgenden
Seite beschrieben haben.
Möglicherweise auftretende Probleme:
Gewöhnungsphase:
Die Gewöhnung an den Lucky-Kitty® Katzenbrunnen erfolgt
in den meisten Fällen problemlos. Sollte Ihre Katze dennoch
etwas Scheu haben, geben Sie ihr einige Tage Zeit, sich an
den Lucky-Kitty® Katzenbrunnen zu gewöhnen.
Pumpe macht Geräusche:
Die Pumpe des Lucky-Kitty® Katzenbrunnens arbeitet im
Normalbetrieb fast geräuschfrei. Es kann jedoch vorkom-
men, dass sich beim ersten Einschalten Luft in der Pumpe
befindet. Ziehen Sie wiederholt den Netzstecker und geben
Sie der Pumpe ein bis zwei Minuten Zeit, bis die Luft
vollständig entwichen ist. Gurgelnde Geräusche entstehen,
wenn der Wasserstand zu niedrig ist. Füllen Sie dann Was-
ser nach. Auch Verschmutzung und Verkalkung der Pumpe
können zu stärkeren Geräuschen führen. Bitte reinigen
bzw. entkalken Sie die Pumpe regelmäßig.
Wasser fließt nicht ordnungsgemäß:
Sollte nicht genügend Wasser zirkulieren, kann das zwei
Ursachen haben. Erstens können sich in der Pumpe
Fremdstoffe wie Haare oder Futterreste festgesetzt haben.
Reinigen Sie dann die Pumpe wie auf der folgenden Seite
beschrieben. Zweitens kann der Schlauch abgeknickt
sein. Ändern Sie die Position der Pumpe, indem Sie sie
verschieben.

Reinigen der Pumpe:
Reinigen Sie die Pumpe des Lucky-Kitty® Katzenbrunnens
mindestens einmal pro Woche. So hat Ihre Katze immer
sauberes Wasser und Sie verlängern die Lebensdauer der
Pumpe.
Ziehen Sie vor allen Arbeiten immer den Netzstecker!
Verwenden Sie zum Entkalken der Pumpe bitte nur sehr
niedrig konzentrierte Lösungen und nur handwarmes
Wasser. Scharfe Reiniger und sehr heißes Wasser können
die Gummifüßchen der Pumpe beschädigen. In der Folge
können die Füßchen nicht mehr richtig an der Unterschale
haften, und die einwandfreie Funktion des Lucky-Kitty®
Katzenbrunnens wird beeinträchtigt. Das führt auch zum
Verlust der Garantie.
Bitte achten Sie darauf, auch den kleinen Pumpenpropeller
regelmäßig – wie unten beschrieben – aus der Pumpe
herauszuziehen, um die entstehende Öffnung gründlich zu
reinigen!
1Öffnen Sie (mit dem Fingernagel oder vorsichtig mit
einem kleinen Schraubenzieher oder einem stumpfen
Messer) die Seitenklappe der Pumpe.
2Entfernen Sie auch die zweite, schwarze Propeller-
Abdeckung darunter.
3Ziehen Sie den kleinen, grünen Propeller aus seiner
Magnet-Halterung. (Geht sehr gut z.B. mithilfe
einer Pinzette oder Büroklammer oder mit dem Griff
unserer Reinigungsbürste (nicht im Lieferumfang des
Brunnens enthalten)).
4Reinigen Sie die Pumpe gründlich unter fließendem,
warmem Wasser (nicht zu heiß, da sich die Pumpe und
die Saugfüßchen sonst verformen können). Beachten
Sie dabei besonders die Öffnung, in der der Propeller
gesteckt hat – darin und am Magneten des Propellers
darf es keinen Schmutz oder Kalkablagerungen geben!
Setzen Sie anschließend die Pumpe in umgekehrter
Reihenfolge wieder zusammen (auch den Winkelstut-
zen nicht vergessen).
Pflege des Brunnens und der Pumpe:
Bei regelmäßiger Reinigung werden Sie sehr lange Freude
an dem qualitativ sehr hochwertigen Lucky-Kitty® Katzen-
brunnen und der Pumpe haben.
Reinigen des Brunnens:
Vor dem Reinigen der Keramikschalen entfernen Sie bitte
unbedingt die Pumpe aus der Unterschale und von der
Oberschale. Entfernen Sie ebenfalls den Silikonring.
Der Lucky-Kitty® Katzenbrunnen besteht aus Keramik und
hat eine glasierte und hochgebrannte Oberfläche. Dadurch
sind Ober- und Unterschale, wie Ihr Geschirr, spülmaschi-
nenfest und äußerst leicht zu reinigen. Beachten Sie bitte,
dass sich die Moosgummifüßchen in der Spülmaschine
lösen können.
Alternativ können Sie den Brunnen auch mit einem
weichen Schwamm und einem seifenhaltigen Reinigungs-
mittel spülen. Verkalkungen behandeln Sie am besten mit
Entkalker auf Zitronensäurebasis.
Beachten Sie bitte: Der Lucky-Kitty® Katzenbrunnen ist
robust, aber nicht bruchfest. Behandeln Sie ihn bitte mit
der nötigen Sorgfalt.
Zusätzliche Pflege des Brunnens:
Mit dem Schlauch-Set, das aus Reinigungsbürste und
drei Ersatzschläuchen besteht (nicht im Lieferumfang des
Brunnens enthalten), haben Sie langfristig eine praktische
und hygienische Ergänzung zu Ihrem Lucky-Kitty® Katzen-
brunnen. Mit der Reinigungsbürste säubern Sie das Innere
der Schläuche einfach und schnell und sorgen so auch an
den schwer zugänglichen Stellen für optimale Sauberkeit.
Einfach die Bürste in das Innere des Schlauches schieben
und mehrmals hin und her bürsten – fertig. Ablagerungen
werden so ganz einfach entfernt. Bei hartnäckigen Rück-
ständen im Inneren des Schlauches tauchen Sie die Bürste
vor dem Gebrauch in etwas milden Essigreiniger und
spülen anschließend mit klarem Wasser gründlich nach.

Reinigen der Pumpe:
Garantie und Zubehör:
Auf den Lucky-Kitty® Katzenbrunnen gewähren wir Ihnen
zwei Jahre Garantie, die mit dem Tag des Kaufs einsetzen.
Die Garantie umfasst alle normalen Betriebsbedingun-
gen, für die der Brunnen ausgelegt ist. Unsachgemäßer
Gebrauch, fahrlässige Verwendung, Verschmutzung durch
unregelmäßiges Reinigen, Trockenlaufen und Manipulatio-
nen führen zum Erlöschen Ihrer Ansprüche.
Im Garantiefall wenden Sie sich bitte an den Händler, bei
dem Sie das Gerät erworben haben.
Gutes, nützliches und schönes Zubehör wie Designer-Unter-
legmatten oder Langhaar-Dauerfilter für den Lucky-Kitty®
Katzenbrunnen finden Sie im gut sortierten Zoohandel und
im Internet unter www.lucky-kitty.de.
Zusätzliche Pflegetipps für die Pumpe:
Haben Sie sehr kalkhaltiges
Wasser und es haben sich schon
Kalkablagerungen an der Pumpe
abgesetzt, legen Sie alle Teile eine
Stunde in eine Schale mit Entkal-
kerlösung. Als besonders geeignet
hat sich verdünnte Zitronensäure
erwiesen, da diese im Gegensatz
zu Essig(säure) die Gummifüßchen der Pumpe nicht
schädigt. Zitronensäure (E 330) in Pulverform zum Auflösen
in Wasser gibt es sehr günstig, z.B. im Drogeriemarkt oder
in der Apotheke. Zur Not tut es aber auch Wasser und der
Saft einer ausgepressten Zitrone oder ein guter Schuss
Haushaltsessig.
Von Zeit zu Zeit sollten Sie die Metallachse auf die der
Rotor gesteckt wird und den Magneten des Propellers mit
einem Hauch Vaseline (Apotheke,
Drogeriemarkt) einfetten. (Geht gut
z.B. mit einem Wattestäbchen.)

Start-up procedure:
1Remove the foil from the foam rubber feet and stick
these under the lower bowl.
2At the intended location, fill the upper bowl with
water up to approx. 2 cm (3/4 inch) below the edge.
3Now turn the upper bowl over and connect the flexible
tube with the inner connecting piece of the upper
bowl, if it is not already pre-installed (Figure 1).
(Moistening the tube makes insertion easier.)
4Pull off the elbow fitting from the pump and connect
it to the other end of the tube.
5Place the pump approximately in the middle of the
filled lower bowl and press it down firmly (Figure 2).
6With one hand, take the upper bowl with the tube
that is now hanging down, and with the other hand,
stick the elbow fitting at the end of the tube back
into the opening of the pump. The elbow fitting will
point towards the back in the direction of the cord.
7Guide the pump cord along the notches provided on
the upper and lower bowls (Figure 3).
8Now set the upper bowl carefully on the lower bowl
and press it down as far as the silicon ring (Figure 4).
9Plug in the power cord, and you’re done!

We are delighted that you have chosen the Lucky-Kitty®
Cat Drinking Fountain. Please read through the following
instructions carefully and pay special attention to the
safety instructions. With proper use, you and your cat will
very much enjoy the Lucky-Kitty® Cat Drinking Fountain
for a long time.

During operation:
With the Lucky-Kitty® Cat Drinking Fountain, your cat will
always have running water that will be oxygen-rich due
to the circulating water. The Lucky-Kitty® Cat Drinking
Fountain works without expensive filter systems. You
should therefore change the water regularly every two to
three days. At least once a week, you should thoroughly
clean the drinking fountain and pump as described on
following page.
Possible problems that might occur:
Familiarisation phase:
In most cases, familiarisation with the Lucky-Kitty® Cat
Drinking Fountain happens without any problems. If your
cat is nevertheless somewhat hesitant, give it a few days’
time to get used to the Lucky-Kitty® Cat Drinking Fountain.
Pump makes a noise:
In normal operation, the pump of the Lucky-Kitty® Cat
Drinking Fountain works almost without any noise. How-
ever, there may be air in the pump the first time that you
start it. Pull out the power cord repeatedly and give the
pump one or two minutes until the air has been complete-
ly removed. Gurgling sounds occur when the water level is
too low. Refill with water. Contamination and calcification
of the pump may also lead to louder noises. Please clean
and/or decalcify the pump regularly.
Important safety and care instructions:
– Regularly check the power cord for biting or nibbling
marks or other defective areas.
– Never leave children unsupervised in the vicinity of the
cat drinking fountain.
– Always pull out the power plug from the power outlet
for all work on the Lucky-Kitty® Cat Drinking Fountain.
– Never remove the plug by pulling on the power cord.
– Do not use the drinking fountain outside.
– Under no circumstances should you connect the drinking
fountain if the power cord or plug is damaged.
– Make sure that the power plug does not become wet or is
not plugged in when wet. The power outlet should always
be higher than the location of the drinking fountain.
– Please do not try to repair the pump motor yourself.
– Never let the pump run dry – in the case of a defect,
your warranty will be invalid.
– Clean the pump at least once a week (see instructions
on following page).
– Completely replace the water at least every two to three
days depending on the drinking habits and number of cats.
– Do not place the drinking fountain on water-sensitive
floors. A placemat is recommended.
– If the safety and care instructions mentioned above
are not followed, we will assume no liability for any
damage that occurs!

Water does not run properly:
There may be two reasons for an insufficient amount of
water to be circulating. First, foreign matter such as hair
or bits of food may have accumulated in the pump. Clean
the pump as described on following page. Secondly, the
tube may have a kink in it. Change the position of the
pump by relocating it.

Cleaning the pump:
Clean the Lucky-Kitty® Cat Drinking Fountain pump at
least once a week. Your cat will always have clean water
and you will extend the service life of the pump.
Always pull out the power plug before doing any
work!
For decalcifying the pump, please use only very dilute
solutions and lukewarm water. Harsh cleansers and very
hot water can damage the pump‘s rubber feet. As a con-
sequence, the feet may no longer correctly adhere to the
lower bowl, and the proper functioning of the Lucky-Kitty®
Cat Drinking Fountain will be compromised, which will void
the warranty.
Please make sure that the small pump propeller is pulled
out of the pump – as described below – in order to clean
the opening thoroughly!
1Open the side cover of the pump (with a finger nail or
carefully with a small screwdriver or a dull knife).
2Also remove the second black propeller covering
underneath it.
3Pull the small green propeller from its magnet bracket.
(It works very well e.g. with the help of tweezers or
a paper clip, or with the handle of our cleaning brush
(not included in the contents of the fountain)).
4Clean the pump thoroughly under warm running
water (not too hot, since the pump and suction feet
may become deformed). Pay particular attention to
the opening in which the propeller has been placed
– there must not be any dirt or limescale deposits in
it or on the propeller’s magnet! Then reassemble the
pump in the reverse order (also don’t forget the
elbow fitting).
Care of the drinking fountain and pump:
With regular cleaning, you will enjoy the very high-quality
Lucky-Kitty® Cat Drinking Fountain and pump for a long
time.
Cleaning the drinking fountain:
Before cleaning the ceramic bowl, please always remove
the pump from the lower and upper bowls. Also remove
the silicone ring.
The Lucky-Kitty® Cat Drinking Fountain is made of
ceramics and has a glazed and high-fired surface. As a
result, the upper and lower bowls, like your dishes, are
dishwasher-safe and extremely easy to clean. Please note
that the foam rubber feet may come off in the dishwasher.
As an alternative, you can also wash the drinking fountain
with a soft sponge and soap-containing cleaning agent.
You can treat calcifications best with a decalcifier with a citric
acid base.
Please note: the Lucky-Kitty® Cat Drinking Fountain is
durable but not unbreakable. Please treat it with the
necessary care.
Additional care of the fountain:
With the tube set, which includes a cleaning brush and
three replacement tubes (not included in the contents of
the fountain), you will have, in the long run, a practical
and hygienic supplement to your Lucky-Kitty®Cat Drinking
Fountain. With the cleaning brush, you can clean out the
inside of the tubes easily and quickly and thus ensure
optimum cleanliness also in places that are difficult to
reach. Simply push the brush into the inside of the tube
and brush back and forth several times – and you’re
done. Deposits are thus very easily removed. For stubborn
residues inside the tube, dip the brush before using it into
a little mild vinegar-based cleaning agent and then rinse
off thoroughly with fresh water.

Cleaning the pump:
Warranty and accessories:
We will grant you a two-year warranty on the
Lucky-Kitty®Cat Drinking Fountain beginning on the day
of purchase. The warranty covers all normal operating
conditions for which the fountain is designed. Improper
or negligent use, contamination due to irregular cleaning,
running dry and tampering will void your claims.
In the case of a warranty claim, please contact the dealer
where you purchased the device.
You will find good, useful and beautiful accessories such
as designer placemats or Long-life Hair Filter for the
Lucky-Kitty®Cat Drinking Fountain in well-stocked pet
shops and on the Internet at www.lucky-kitty.com.
Additional care tips for the pump:
If you have very hard water and
limescale deposits have already
built up on the pump, put all the
parts in a bowl with descaling
solution for an hour. Diluted citric
acid has proven to be especially
suitable since it doesn’t damage
the pump’s rubber feet (unlike
vinegar or acetic acid). Citric acid (E330) is available in
inexpensive powder form for dissolving in water, e.g. at a
drugstore or pharmacy. In a pinch, water and the juice of
a squeezed lemon or a good shot of household vinegar
will also do.
From time to time you should lubricate the metal shaft
on which the rotor has been placed and the propeller’s
magnet with a small amount of
Vaseline (available at a pharmacy
or drugstore). (It works very well
e.g. with a cotton swab.)

Mise en service :
1Retirez le film de protection des pieds en caoutchouc
mousse et collez-les sous le bac inférieur.
2Lorsqu’il est en place, remplissez le bac inférieur avec
de l’eau jusqu’à environ 2 cm du bord.
3Tournez maintenant le bac supérieur et raccordez, s’il
n’est pas déjà pré-assemblé, le tuyau avec le raccord
intérieur du bac supérieur (Figure 1). (Humidifier le
tuyau facilite le raccordement.)
4Prenez le raccord coudé de la pompe et raccordez-le à
l’autre extrémité du tuyau.
5Placez la pompe au milieu du bac inférieur rempli
d’eau et appuyez fermement (Figure 2).
6Prenez dans une main le bac supérieur avec le tuyau
suspendu et raccordez avec l’autre main le raccord
coudé situé à l’extrémité du tuyau avec l’ouverture
de la pompe. Le raccord coudé doit être orienté vers
l’arrière en direction du câble.
7Faites passer le câble de la pompe dans les évide-
ments prévus du bac supérieur et inférieur (Figure 3).
8Placez maintenant le bac supérieur délicatement sur le
bac inférieur et appuyez-le fermement sur le joint en
silicone (Figure 4).
9Branchez la prise sur le secteur. La pompe est prête.

Fonctionnement :
La fontaine à eau pour chat Lucky-Kitty® offre à votre
chat de l’eau ruisselante toujours riche en oxygène grâce
à sa circulation. La fontaine à eau pour chat Lucky-Kitty®
fonctionne sans systèmes de filtration coûteux. Par
conséquent, vous devez changer l’eau régulièrement tous
les deux à trois jours. Au moins une fois par semaine, vous
devez nettoyer soigneusement la fontaine et la pompe,
comme décrit à la page suivante.
Problèmes pouvant survenir :
Phase d’adaptation :
Dans la plupart des cas, les chats s’habituent sans
problèmes à la fontaine à eau pour chat Lucky-Kitty®.
Toutefois, si votre chat appréhende la fontaine, donnez-lui
quelques jours pour s’habituer à la fontaine à eau pour
chat Lucky-Kitty®.
La pompe fait du bruit :
En fonctionnement normal, la pompe de la fontaine à eau
pour chat Lucky-Kitty® tourne presque silencieusement. Il
est possible, cependant, qu’il y ait de l’air dans la pompe
lors de la première utilisation. Débranchez et rebranchez
la prise à plusieurs reprises, puis attendez une à deux
minutes jusqu’à ce que l’air soit totalement évacué. Des
bruits de gargouillements peuvent apparaître lorsque le
niveau d’eau est trop faible. Remplissez alors la fontaine
d’eau. Des bruits peuvent également apparaître lorsque la
pompe est obstruée ou entartrée. Veuillez nettoyer et/ou
détartrer la pompe régulièrement.
Consignes importantes en matière de sécurité
et d’entretien :
– Vérifiez régulièrement le câble pour détecter des signes
de morsure ou d’autres défauts.
– Ne laissez aucun enfant sans surveillance près de la
fontaine à eau pour chat.
– Débranchez la prise avant toute manipulation de la
fontaine à eau pour chat Lucky-Kitty®.
– Ne débranchez jamais la prise en tirant sur le câble.
– N’utilisez pas la fontaine en plein air.
– Ne branchez en aucun cas la fontaine si le câble ou la
prise sont endommagés.
– Veillez à ne pas mouiller la prise ou à ne pas brancher
la prise si elle est mouillée. La prise de courant doit
toujours se situer plus haut que la fontaine.
– N’essayez pas de réparer le moteur de la pompe
vous-même.
– Ne laissez jamais la pompe fonctionner à sec. En cas
d’incident, votre garantie est annulée.
– Nettoyez la pompe au moins une fois par semaine (voir
instructions à la page suivante).
– Selon la quantité bue et le nombre de chats, changez
toute l’eau tous les deux ou trois jours.
– Ne posez pas la fontaine sur un sol qui craint l‘eau.
Il est recommandé d’utiliser un support.
– En cas de non respect des consignes de sécurité et
d’entretien susmentionnées, nous n’assumerons aucune
responsabilité pour les dommages en résultant !
L’eau ne s’écoule pas correctement :
Il y a deux raisons qui peuvent être à l’origine d’une eau
insuffisante dans la pompe. Il est possible, d’une part,
que des corps étrangers, tels que des poils ou des restes
de nourriture se soient coincés dans la pompe. Nettoyez
alors la pompe comme indiqué à la page suivante. Il est
également possible, d’autre part, que le tuyau se soit
plié. Modifiez la position de la pompe en la déplaçant
légèrement.

Entretien de la fontaine et de la pompe :
Grâce à un nettoyage régulier, vous profiterez longtemps
de la fontaine à eau pour chat Lucky-Kitty® de grande
qualité et de la pompe.
Nettoyage de la fontaine :
Avant de nettoyer les bols en céramique, ôtez absolu-
ment la pompe du bol inférieur et du bol supérieur. Ôtez
également le joint en silicone.
La fontaine à eau pour chat Lucky-Kitty® est en céramique
et possède une surface glacée et cuite à haute tempéra-
ture. Par conséquent, les bols supérieur et inférieur sont,
comme votre vaisselle, lavables au lave-vaisselle et donc
faciles à nettoyer. Veuillez noter que les pieds en caout-
chouc mousse peuvent se détacher dans le lave-vaisselle.
Vous pouvez également nettoyer la fontaine avec une
éponge douce et un produit savonneux. Pour détacher
le calcaire, utilisez un produit détartrant à base d’acide
citrique.
Veuillez noter : la fontaine à eau pour chats Lucky-Kitty®
est robuste, mais n’est pas incassable. Veuillez la manipu-
ler avec précaution.
Entretien supplémentaire de la fontaine :
Grâce au kit de tuyau qui se compose d’une brosse de
nettoyage et de trois tuyaux de rechange (non inclus), vous
aurez un complément pratique longue durée et hygiénique
pour votre fontaine à eau pour chat Lucky-Kitty®. La brosse
vous permet de nettoyer l’intérieur des tuyaux de manière
rapide et facile et assure ainsi une propreté optimale des
zones difficiles à atteindre. Il suffit de glisser la brosse à
l’intérieur du tuyau et d’effectuer un mouvement de va-et-
vient à plusieurs reprises. Les dépôts se détachent ainsi
facilement. Pour les résidus tenaces situés à l’intérieur du
tuyau, trempez la brosse légèrement dans du vinaigre de
ménage doux avant de l’utiliser puis rincez abondamment
à l’eau claire.
Nettoyage de la pompe :
Nettoyez la pompe de la fontaine à eau pour chat
Lucky-Kitty® au moins une fois par semaine. Ainsi, votre
chat bénéficiera toujours d’une eau propre et vous prolon-
gez la durée de vie de la pompe.
Débranchez toujours la prise avant toute
manipulation de la pompe !
Utilisez pour le détartrage de la pompe uniquement des
solutions à faible concentration et de l’eau tiède. Les
nettoyants puissants ou l’eau très chaude peuvent endom-
mager les pieds en caoutchouc de la pompe. Les pieds ne
peuvent alors plus adhérer correctement au bac inférieur,
et le bon fonctionnement de la fontaine à eau pour chat
Lucky-Kitty® est altéré. Cela entraîne aussi l’annulation de
la garantie.
Veillez également retirer régulièrement la petite hélice
de la pompe, comme décrit ci-dessous, pour nettoyer
l’ouverture !
1Ouvrez (avec l’ongle ou précautionneusement avec
un petit tournevis ou un couteau émoussé) le clapet
latéral de la pompe.
2Ôtez également le deuxième cache noir de l’hélice
située en-dessous.
3Retirez la petite hélice verte de son support
magnétique. (S’effectue très facilement à l’aide d’une
pincette ou d’un trombone ou avec la poignée de
notre brosse de nettoyage (non incluse)).
4Nettoyez soigneusement la pompe sous l’eau chaude
courante (pas trop chaude, car la pompe et les pieds
en caoutchoucs pourraient de déformer). Veillez
particulièrement à nettoyer l’ouverture dans laquelle
l’hélice était fixée. Aucune saleté ou dépôt de tartre
ne doit subsister ! Assemblez ensuite la pompe en
effectuant les opérations dans le sens inverse (sans
oublier le raccord coudé).

Conseils supplémentaires pour l’entretien
de la pompe :
Si votre eau est très dure, et
si du calcaire s’est déjà déposé
sur la pompe, placez toutes les
pièces pendant une heure dans un
bol rempli d’une solution de dé-
tartrage. L’acide citrique dilué s’est
avéré particulièrement approprié
puisqu’à la différence de l’acide
acétique, il n’endommage pas les pieds en caoutchouc de
la pompe. L’acide citrique (E330) sous forme de poudre
à dissoudre dans l’eau peut être acheté à peu de frais,
comme par exemple, en pharmacie ou en supermarché.
Mais il est également possible d’utiliser de l’eau et le jus
d’un citron pressé ou un bon vinaigre ménager.
De temps en temps, vous devez
graisser l’axe métallique sur lequel
le rotor est inséré et l’aimant de
l’hélice avec une touche de vaseline
(supermarché, pharmacie). (C’est
facile à faire avec un coton-tige,
par exemple.)
Garantie et accessoires :
La fontaine à eau pour chat Lucky-Kitty® est garantie deux
ans à compter de la date d’achat. La garantie couvre tout
fonctionnement normal pour lequel le produit a été conçu.
Tout fonctionnement incorrect, toute utilisation négligente
et tout encrassement dû à un nettoyage irrégulier, à une
marche à sec et à des manipulations entraînent l’annula-
tion de vos prétentions en garantie.
Pour tout cas soumis à garantie, veuillez contacter le
revendeur auprès duquel vous avez acheté l’appareil.

Nettoyage de la pompe :

Messa in funzione:
1Staccare la pellicola dai piedini in gommaspugna e
incollarla sotto la vaschetta inferiore.
2Riempire la vaschetta inferiore con acqua fino a circa
2 cm dal bordo.
3Girare la vaschetta superiore e attaccare (se non già
premontato) il tubo al raccordo (Figura 1). (Inumidendo
il tubo si facilita il fissaggio).
4Staccare il raccordo angolare dalla pompa e collegarlo
all’altra estremità del tubo.
5Collocare la pompa al centro della vaschetta inferiore
riempita con acqua e spingerla saldamente su di essa
(Figura 2).
6Prendere la vaschetta superiore con il tubo penzolante
e infilare nuovamente nell’apertura della pompa il
raccordo angolare situato sull’estremità del tubo. Il
raccordo angolare deve essere rivolto all’indietro in
direzione del cavo.
7Condurre il cavo della pompa lungo le scanalature
presenti sulla vaschetta superiore ed inferiore (Figura 3).
8Collocare attentamente la vaschetta superiore sulla
vaschetta inferiore e spingerla fino all’anello in silicone
(Figura 4).
9Infilare la spina nella presa. Fatto.

Fontanella per gatti
Siamo lieti che abbiate acquistato la fontanella per
gatti Lucky-Kitty®. Leggete attentamente le seguenti
istruzioni e osservate soprattutto le indicazioni di
sicurezza. Se usata correttamente, la fontanella per
gatti Lucky-Kitty® garantirà un sacco di divertimento
a voi e al vostro gatto.

Durante l’uso:
Con la fontanella per gatti Lucky-Kitty®, il vostro gatto
avrà sempre acqua corrente ricca di ossigeno grazie alla
circolazione. La fontanella per gatti Lucky-Kitty® funziona
senza costosi sistemi filtranti. Si consiglia, tuttavia, di
cambiare l’acqua ogni due-tre giorni. La fontanella e la
pompa devono essere puliti accuratamente almeno una
volta alla settimana, attenendosi alle istruzioni riportate
alla pagina successiva.
Possibili problemi:
Fase di abituazione:
Nella maggior parte dei casi, il gatto si abitua facilmente
alla fontanella per gatti Lucky-Kitty®. Se il felino dovesse
essere ancora titubante, dategli qualche giorno di tempo
per abituarsi alla fontanella per gatti Lucky-Kitty®.
La pompa emette dei rumori:
Nel normale funzionamento, la pompa della fontanella
per gatti Lucky-Kitty® è silenziosissima. Tuttavia, può
succedere che alla prima accensione nella pompa si trovi
un po’ d’aria. Staccare ripetutamente la spina dalla presa
e attendere uno-due minuti per far fuoriuscire completa-
mente l’aria dalla pompa. Se il livello dell’acqua è troppo
basso, potrebbero verificarsi dei rumori di gorgoglio.
In questo caso, aggiungere acqua. Anche lo sporco e i
depositi calcarei nella pompa possono causare forti rumori.
Si raccomanda pertanto di depurare e decalcificare
periodicamente la pompa.
Istruzioni di manutenzione e di sicurezza:
– Sottoporre periodicamente i cavi a un controllo
finalizzato a localizzare punti rosicchiati o difettosi.
– Non lasciare mai i bambini da soli in prossimità della
fontanella per gatti.
– Staccare la spina dalla presa quando si eseguono lavori
alla fontanella per gatti Lucky-Kitty®.
– Non staccare mai la spina tirandola dal cavo.
– Non usare la fontana all‘aperto.
– Non collegare la fontana alla rete elettrica, in caso di
danni ai cavi o alla spina.
– Assicurarsi che la spina non si bagni e che non venga
inserita bagnata. La presa di corrente deve trovarsi in
posizione più elevata rispetto alla fontanella.
– Non cercare di riparare autonomamente la pompa del
motore.
– Non far girare mai la pompa a secco – in caso di danni
si perderebbe la garanzia.
– Pulire la pompa almeno una volta alla settimana (vedi
istruzioni alla pagina successiva).
– Cambiare l‘acqua ogni due-tre giorni, in base alle
esigenze del gatto.
– Non collocare la fontanella su pavimenti sensibili
all‘acqua. Si consiglia di metterla su un supporto.
– Il mancato rispetto delle indicazioni di sicurezza e
manutenzione esonera il produttore da qualsiasi
responsabilità per danni da ciò risultanti!

L’acqua non scorre correttamente:
Se non dovesse circolare una sufficiente quantità d’acqua,
due potrebbero essere le cause. Primo, la pompa
potrebbe essere ostruita da sostanze estranee o da resti
di mangime. In questo caso pulire la pompa, attenendosi
alle istruzioni riportate alla pagina successiva. Secondo, il
tubo potrebbe essere piegato. Cambiare la posizione della
pompa, spostandola.

Manutenzione della fontanella e della pompa:
La manutenzione periodica della pompa e della fontanella
per gatti Lucky-Kitty®ne aumenta sensibilmente la durata.
Pulizia della fontanella:
Prima di pulire le vaschette di ceramica, staccare la pompa
dalla vaschetta inferiore e da quella superiore. Rimuovere
anche l’anello di silicone.
La fontanella per gatti Lucky-Kitty® è costituita da mate-
riale ceramico e da una superficie smaltata. Ciò rende le
vaschette lavabili in lavastoviglie e molto facili da pulire.
Si ricorda che nella lavastoviglie i piedini in gommaspugna
potrebbero staccarsi.
Alternativamente è anche possibile pulire la fontanella con
una spugna morbida e un detergente a base di sapone. I
depositi calcarei si lasciano eliminare con un decalcificante
a base di acido citrico.
Attenzione: la fontanella per gatti Lucky-Kitty® è robusta,
ma non infrangibile. Si prega di trattarla con la dovuta cura.
Ulteriore manutenzione della fontana:
Con il set di tubi, composto da spazzola di pulizia e
da tre tubi di ricambio (non in dotazione), avete degli
accessori pratici e igienici per curare la vostra fontanella
per gatti Lucky-Kitty®. Con la spazzola potete pulire i
tubi dall’interno in modo rapido e facile, assicurando la
massima pulizia anche nei punti difficilmente accessibili.
Spingere semplicemente la spazzola nel tubo e muoverla
ripetutamente avanti e indietro – fatto. In questo modo
è possibile eliminare facilmente i depositi. Se nel tubo si
trovano dei residui ostinati, immergere la spazzola in un
detergente a base di aceto non aggressivo, quindi spazzo-
lare e sciacquare a fondo con acqua pulita.
Pulizia della pompa:
Pulire la pompa della fontanella per gatti Lucky-Kitty®
almeno una volta alla settimana. Da una parte il vostro
gatto avrà sempre acqua pulita, dall’altra la durata della
pompa aumenterà sensibilmente.
Staccare la spina dalla presa prima di eseguire
qualsiasi lavoro sull’apparecchio!
Per decalcificare la pompa, usare solo soluzioni a bassa
concentrazione e acqua tiepida. I detergenti aggressivi
e l’acqua bollente danneggerebbero i piedini di gomma
della pompa. In questo caso i piedini non aderirebbero più
correttamente alla vaschetta inferiore, pregiudicando così il
funzionamento della fontanella per gatti Lucky-Kitty®. Ciò
comporterebbe, inoltre, la perdita della garanzia.
Ricordarsi di estrarre periodicamente anche la piccola
elica – come descritto di seguito – dalla pompa, per pulire
accuratamente l’apertura!
1Aprire (con le unghie, un piccolo cacciavite o un coltel-
lo non affilato) lo sportellino laterale della pompa.
2Staccare anche la seconda copertura nera sottostante
dell’elica.
3Estrarre la piccola elica verde dal supporto magnetico.
(Questa operazione viene facilitata utilizzando una
pinzetta o una graffetta oppure il manico di una delle
nostre spazzole detergenti (non cin dotazione)).
4Pulire la pompa accuratamente tenendola sotto acqua
calda corrente (non troppo calda, altrimenti la pompa
e le ventose potrebbero deformarsi). Prestare parti-
colare attenzione all’apertura nella quale si trovava
l’elica - nell’apertura e sul magnete dell’elica non
devono trovarsi residui di sporco o depositi di calcare!
Riassemblare successivamente la pompa in sequenza
inversa (ricordarsi di rimontare il raccordo angolare).

Ulteriori suggerimenti per la manutenzione
della pompa:
Se l’acqua è molto calcarea e se
sulla pompa si sono formati dei
depositi di calcare, immergere
tutte le parti per un’ora in una
bacinella contenente la soluzione
decalcificante. Particolarmente
efficace si è rivelato l’acido citrico
diluito, poiché rispetto all’acido
acetico non danneggia i piedini di gomma della pompa.
L’acido citrico (E330) in polvere solubile nell’acqua è
disponibile a prezzi convenienti in farmacie o drogherie.
All’occorrenza è anche possibile usare del succo di limone
diluito nell’acqua oppure dell’aceto.
Di tanto in tanto è anche consigliabile ingrassare con
vaselina (disponibile in farmacie o drogherie) il magnete
dell’elica e l’asse metallico sul
quale infilare il rotore. (A questo
proposito è possibile utilizzare un
bastoncino di cotone.)
Garanzia e accessori:
Sulla fontanella per gatti Lucky-Kitty®concediamo due
anni di garanzia, che inizia dalla data di acquisto. La
garanzia copre il normale funzionamento per il quale la
fontanella è stata progettata. Uso improprio, negligenza,
accumulo di sporco dovuto alla pulizia irregolare, funziona-
mento a secco e manomissioni comportano l’annullamento
della garanzia.
Per eseguire una riparazione in regime di garanzia, rivolgersi
al rivenditore presso il quale è stato acquistato il prodotto.
