Measuring Functions
1. Area Measurement
Press once to activate area measurement and the
laser. Press once to take the first measurement.
Press again to take the second measurement. The
area is now displayed on the screen.
To change units press
2. Volume Measurement
Press twice to activate volume
measurement. Press once to take
the first measurement. Press again
to take the second measurement. Press
again to take the third measure-
ment. The volume is now displayed on
the screen. To change units press
3 Pythagoras Function For Indirect Measurement
Press three times to activate the pythagoras
function. Following the instructions on the
screen take the first measurement followed
by the second measurement. The length of the
third side of the triangle is displayed.

To activate the laser pointer, press and
hold

Code Description Solution
Err01 Out of measuring range Measure within the specified measuring range
Err02 Reflected signal is too weak Select a better surface
Err04 Pythagorean calculation error Check and verify values and steps are correct
Err05 Low battery Replace batteries
Err07 Ambient light is too strong Measure in a darker place (shadow target)
Err06 Out of working temperature range Measure in an environment within specified
working temperature range
Err03 Out of display range (max value: 99999)
i.e. result of area or dimension is out
of display range
