The Luminance RED is a photobiomodulation (PBM) device that has
been carefully designed for safe and eective home use.

DANGERS
To reduce the risk of electrocution:
1. Do not place or store the charger where it can fall or be pulled into a tub or sink.
2. Do not place the charger in water or other liquid.
3. Do not reach for a charger that has fallen into water. Unplug immediately.
4. Do not shine the device into the eyes.
5. Do not use while bathing.
WARNINGS
To reduce the risk of burns, electrocution, fire or injury:
1. Close supervision is necessary when this product is used by, on, or near children or invalids.
2. Use this product only for its intended use as described in this manual. Do not use attachments that
not recommended by the manufacturer.
3. Keep the cord that attaches to the charging base away from heated surfaces.
4. Never drop the device or insert any object into any opening of the device.
5. Never operate this product if it has a damaged cord or plug, if it is not working properly, if it has been
dropped or damaged, or if it has been dropped into water.
IMPORTANT
1. Periodically check the cord for damage. A damaged or non-functioning unit should no longer be
used.
2. Do not touch the power plug with wet hands. This can cause an electric shock.
3. When unplugging, always hold the power plug instead of the cord.
4. Do not modify or repair the product. This may cause fire, electric shock, or injury. Do not disassemble
the product, except when disposing of the battery.
5. Do not remove the rechargeable battery from the device. It is designed to remain inside during
charging and use.
6. This product is not intended for use by children under the age of 16 without parental supervision and
assistance.
7. Please only use the original power adapter, as other adapters may cause damage to the lithium
battery and control circuit.
8. Metal or any other conductors are never to touch the metal conductor on the bottom of the device.
This will prevent electrical damage to the internal circuit board or lithium battery.
9. Avoid electromagnetic interference in the environment (such as microwave ovens nearby) when
using your device.
10. Do not share the Luminance RED amongst friends or family. The device is for individual use only. If
dierent people want to use the device, purchase an additional unit, or contact Luminance Medical
Ventures at info@luminancemedical.com to purchase a separate fiber optic tip for each additional
user.
11. The Luminance RED is a natural, non-invasive, and chemical & drug-free therapy. However, out of
caution, we recommend you consult with your healthcare provider if you take photosensitizing drugs
like Tetracycline, Digoxin, Retin A, and others.
12. The Luminance RED only delivers blue and red wavelengths of light that have been demonstrated in
clinical studies to be safe and eective. However, we always recommend consulting with your
healthcare provider for specific questions about your health conditions.
13. The fiber optic tip is composed of delicately crafted glass and metal which is fragile. Be careful when
handling it.
