INSTALLATIE-INSTRUCTIE: Luminext Gateway GW1
De Luminext Gateway GW1 (hierna te noemen: Gateway) is een onderdeel van het Luminext
programma voor dynamisch dimbare verlichting met beheer op afstand. De Gateway heeft een relais
contact waarmee externe belastingen geschakeld kunnen worden. De Gateway kan met de
bijbehorende 868 MHz en GSM antennes in een IP65 behuizing geplaatst worden. De Gateway vormt
automatisch een draadloos sensor/control netwerk met de aanwezige OLC300S lamp controllers.
Veiligheid
• De installatie en onderhoud moet worden uitgevoerd door een gekwalificeerde medewerker.
• Volg de onderstaande installatie-instructies strikt op om gevaar en schade aan de Gateway te
voorkomen.
• Onderbreek de voedingsspanning voor installatie, inspectie of verwijderen van de Gateway. De
spanningen aan de primaire zijde van de Gateway zijn niet aanraakveilig.
• Gebruik de Gateway niet als deze is beschadigd.
• Zet nooit spanning op de Gateway zonder dat de bijbehorende antenne (Luminext artikel #
40.20.300) op de juiste wijze is aangesloten.
• De elektrische installatie moet voldoen aan de nationale regelgeving en relevante standaarden.
• De installatie waarop de Gateway wordt aangesloten moet voorzien zijn van een mogelijkheid om
de spanning te onderbreken.
• De netspanningsaansluiting van de Gateway dient voorzien te zijn van een smeltzekering van 2A.
• De Gateway dient in een IP65 geclassificeerde ruimte geplaatst te worden.

Installatie
1. Maak de 230V aansluiting spanningsvrij en lees de veiligheidsinstructies.
2. Controleer of de behuizing geschikt is voor montage van de Gateway: let specifiek op of de
behuizing IP65 is.
3. Controleer de Gateway: verzekert u zich ervan dat de Gateway onbeschadigd is.
4. Sluit direct de bijbehorende 868 MHz antenne aan (leverbaar als artikel 40.20.300). Zet nooit
spanning op de Gateway zonder dat een geschikte 868 MHz antenne is aangesloten.
5. Draai de sma antenne aansluiting aan met een steeksleutel zodat deze niet los trilt.
6. Sluit de bijhorende GSM antenne aan (leverbaar als artikel 40.10.000 ‘haaks’).
7. Gebruik indien nodig externe antennes.
8. Het productlabel op de Gateway bevat het ICCID nummer van de SIM kaart voor het GSM
modem. Controleer dat deze SIM kaart is geactiveerd.
9. Op het product label op de Gateway staat een Gateway ID. Controleer dat het gateway ID in
Luminizer is ingevoerd.
10. Bevestig de Gateway stevig op een geschikte plaats in de behuizing, bijvoorbeeld met
dubbelzijdig tape. Bij twijfel neem contact op met Luminext.
11. De Gateway heeft een relais waarmee externe belastingen geschakeld kunnen worden. Zie het
aansluitschema hieronder.
12. Gebruik 1.0 mm2draad voor alle aansluitingen. Druk de draden volledig in het aansluitblok en
draai de schroeven goed aan. Gebruik ader eind-hulsjes bij gebruik van flexibel draad.
13. Plak de antenne vast met behulp van de 3M dubbelzijdige tape aan de achterkant op de zijkant
van de Gateway.
14. Sluit een voedingskabel aan op de Gateway volgens onderstaande aansluitschema.
15. Sluit de behuizing. Controleer hierbij of er geen kabels tussen de of objecten tussen seals terecht
komen.
16. Sluit Gateway aan door deze aan te sluiten op 230V AC en test de correcte werking van de
Gateway. In geval van incorrecte werking, controleer de bedrading
o Bij aansluiting op de netspanning zal de rechter LED gaan branden.
o Zodra de Gateway communicatie heeft met het aanwezige OLC300S netwerk zal de
middelste LED gaan branden.
o Als de Gateway communicatie heeft met Luminizer zal de linker LED gaan branden.
o Test of de aansturing van het OLC300S netwerk via de Gateway correct werkt.

Aansluitschema
Sluit de 230VAC voedingspanning aan op de aansluitingen gemarkeerd met L en N.
Sluit (indien gewenst) een belasting aan op de aansluiting gemarkeerd met C (Common) en één van
de aansluitingen NC (normally closed) of NO (normally open).
Configuratie
Wanneer de spanning op de Gateway wordt ingeschakeld, de SIM kaart is geactiveerd en de gateway
is aangemeld in Luminizer moeten de linker en rechter LED aan gaan. Afhankelijk van het GSM bereik
kan dit enkele minuten duren. De middelste LED zal aan gaan zodra communicatie met het aanwezige
OLC netwerk plaatsvind. Gebruik de Luminizer management software voor configuratie van de
Gateway.
Montage
De Gateway kan zowel aan de binnenzijde van een (voedings)kast of aan een lichtmast worden
gemonteerd. In het geval van montage in een (voedings)kast kan gekozen worden voor de ‘Vandal-
proof cabinet antenne’ (zie foto hieronder), welke geïnstalleerd dient te worden in het dak van de
(voedings)kast.

Gebruik
De Gateway zal de verlichting die is aangesloten op het aanwezige OLC300S netwerk besturen.
Conformiteit
Dit product voldoet aan de Europese richtlijnen en relevante standaarden voor laagspanning, EMC,
RED, REACH, en RoHS. De Gateway is voorzien van een 868 MHz en een GSM radio. De gebruikte
frequentie van de 868 MHz radio ligt in de frequentieband van 869.400 – 869.650 MHz en het
maximum zendvermogen is +20 dBm. De gebruikte frequentie van de GSM radio ligt in de
frequentieband van 880 - 960 MHz of 1710 - 1880 MHz en het maximum zendvermogen is +35 dBm
of +32 dBm.
Hierbij, verklaart Luminext dat de radio van het type Gateway voldoet aan richtlijn 2014/53/EU. De
volledige tekst van de EU conformiteitsverklaring is beschikbaar op luminext.eu
Reparatie
Open dit product niet. In het geval van een defect moet de Gateway worden vervangen.
Hergebruik
Gooi dit product niet weg bij het huisvuil, maar breng het naar een inzamelpunt voor hergebruik.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTION: Gateway GW1
The Gateway GW1 ( Gateway in the remainder of this document) is a product in the Luminext program
for dynamic dimmable street lighting with remote management. The Gateway is provided with a relay
for connection of external loads. The Gateway can be mounted inside an IP65 cabinet together with
the appropriate 868 MHz and GSM antennas. The Gateway automatically forms a wireless-sensor-
and-control network with the surrounding OLC300S controllers that is self-organizing and self-
synchronizing.
Safety
• Installation should be performed by qualified personnel only.
• Adhere strictly to the installation instruction below to avoid danger and damage to the Gateway.
• Disconnect power at the source before installation, inspection or removal. The voltages at the
primary side of the Gateway are not touch proof.
• Do not use the Gateway if it is damaged.
• Never power the Gateway without the associated 868 MHz antenna (Luminext article 40.20.300)
properly connected.
• The electrical installation must be in conformance with the national legislation and relevant
standards.
• The mains connection of the Gateway must be provided with a 2A fuse and a possibility to
disconnect the mains.
• The Gateway must be mounted in an IP65 classified housing.

Installation
1. Disconnect the power to the Gateway and read the safety instructions above.
2. Check if the cabinet is suitable for mounting the Gateway and make sure the area is IP65.
3. Check the Gateway: make sure the Gateway is not damaged.
4. Directly connect the suitable 868 MHz antenna (Luminext article 40.20.300). Never power the
Gateway without an appropriate 868 MHz antenna connected.
5. Fix the sma connector with a wrench so this won’t turn loose due to vibrations.
6. Connect a suitable GSM antenna (Luminext article 40.10.000 ‘haaks’).
7. If needed, connect external 868 MHz and GSM antennas.
8. The Gateway is provided with a product label which contains an ICCD number of the present SIM
card of the GSM modem. Ensure that the SIM card is activated.
9. The product label of the Gateway contains a gateway ID. Ensure that the gateway ID is
administrated in Luminizer.
10. Mount the Gateway sturdily to the cabinet, e.g. with double side tape. If in doubt contact Luminext.
11. The Gateway can be used to switch an external load. See wiring diagram below.
12. Use 1.0 mm2wiring for all connections. Push the wires completely into the terminal block and turn
the screws. Use wire end sleeves when using flexible wires.
13. Mount the antenna with the 3M double sides adhesive tape to the Gateway.
14. Connect a 230V AC power cable to the Gateway according to the wiring schedule below.
15. Close the cabinet. Take care that no wires of objects get in between the seals.
16. Connect the power cable to 230 V AC power and test the correct functioning of the Gateway. In
case of malfunctioning check the wiring.
o When connect to power the power right LED will lit.
o When communication with surrounding OLC300S controllers takes place, the centre LED
will lit.
o When communication with Luminizer takes place, the left LED will lit. This may take
several minutes.
o Check if the surrounding OLC300S network can be controlled via the Gateway.

Wiring diagram
Connect the 230VAC to the terminals marked with L and N.
If needed, connect an external load to the terminal marked with C (Common) and one of the terminals
marked with NC (normally closed) or NO (normally open).
Configuration
When the Gateway is powered, the SIM card is activated and the gateway is administrated in
Luminizer, the left and right LED should lit. Dependent of the GSM range this may take several
minutes. The center LED will lit as soon as communication with surrounding OLC300S controllers
takes place. Use the Luminizer management software for configuration of the Gateway.
Mounting
The Gateway can be mounted inside a cabinet as well as externally on a light pole. In the cabinet you
must apply the ‘Vandal-proof cabinet antenna’ (as shown below), which needs to be installed in the
cabinets roof.

Usage
The Gateway will control the lamps connected to the surrounding OLC300S network.
Compliance
This product complies with the European directives and relevant standards for low voltage, EMC,
RED, REACH and RoHS. The Gateway contains an 868 MHz and GSM radio. The applied frequency
of the 868 radio is within the band 869.400 – 869.650 MHz and the maximum transmit power is +20
dBm. The applied frequency of the GSM radio is within the band 880 - 960 MHz or 1710 - 1880 MHz
and the maximum transmit power is +35 dBm or +32 dBm.
Hereby, Luminext declares that the radio equipment type Gateway is in compliance with Directive
2014/53/EU. The full text of the EU declaration of conformity is available at luminext.eu
Repair
Do not open this product. In case of failure the Gateway must be replaced.
Recycling
Do not dispose this product as household waste, but bring it to an appropriate collection point for
recycling.
