1. Suitable for installation from secure beams or roof supports ONLY.
2. Earth wire grounding connection is for earth parking only.
3. Suitable for sheltered locations only.
4. Do not cover or thermally insulate the product.
5. Ensure the suspension wires are never angled more than 60˚ from the vertical.
6. Never adjust the Gripple using the release key whilst the steel wire is bearing weight.
7. This product is not designed with user replacement parts.
GRIPPLE
Steel Wire Gripple Fastener

Insert the end of the steel wire into one side of the
Gripple fastener.
Pull enough length of steel wire through the Gripple to
wrap around the chosen roof beam support.
IMPORTANT SAFETY NOTICE
Switch OFF the electricity at the fuse box by removing the relevant fuse or switching o the circuit breaker
before proceeding with the installation.

Pass the End Stop and Toggle Plate
from the steel wire through the suspension lug on the luminaire
- ensure the toggle prevents the wire from pulling back through
the hole. Repeat for all four suspension lugs.
Ensure the luminaire is level. Use the release key to adjust the
Gripple fastener(s) if necessary.

Loop the steel wire around the support beam
then feed back through the other side of the Gripple fastener.
Gently pull on the steel wire to conrm it is locked in place.
If adjustment is required, insert the release key into the
appropriate release hole in the Gripple to free the steel wire,
adjust to the correct length then remove the key.

The motion detector reacts to variations in temperature - please note the following points:
• Do not direct the motion sensor at objects featuring highly reective surfaces (i.e. mirrors etc.)
• Do not install near to heat sources such as heating outlets, air conditioning systems etc.
• Do not direct the motion sensor at objects that may move in the wind such as curtains, wall fans, large plants etc.

SUPPLY
Pass the new/pre-existing cable through the cable entry
gland on the rear of the unit. Turn the gland in a clockwise
direction to secure the cable.
Secure the wiring box cover by rotating in a clockwise
direction until the arrow is aligned with the LOCK symbol.
Each LED lightbar can be rotated in/out by up to 30˚ to
adjust the illumination pattern for wide area, aisle,
crossroad or T-junction requirements.
Connect the new/pre-existing cable to the terminal block
in accordance with the wiring colours shown.
Ensure each wire is rmly located into the push-in terminal.
Replace the wiring box cover plate, ensuring no wires
are trapped.

Note : Earth terminal is used for
Earth wire parking only.

OPTION A - using the pre-wired cable. OPTION B - using new/pre-existing cable.

Connect the pre-wired cable into a suitable junction box
(not supplied). Take note of the wiring colours shown.
Proceed to step 10.
4b Open up the wiring box by rotating
the cover in an anti-clockwise
direction until the arrow is aligned
with the UNLOCK symbol.

Remove the wiring box cover to expose the connections.
Disconnect the wires from the side of the terminal block
marked L, & N. Pull the cable through the gland & discard.
