empty containers is achieved by means of a conduc-
tivesubstrate(e.g.conductivegratings).
The transition between container and earthing must
also be conductive.

!DANGER
Risk of re and explosion due to electrostatic
charge!
When used in potentially explosive atmospheres
orwhenpumpingammableliquids,pleasenote:
►Assembly/disassembly only outside the hazard-
ous area
►After assembling the hose line, check the
conductivity together with the nozzle. During
the conductivity check the rotary joint must be
moved into all possible positions.
!WARNING
Danger of injury and intoxication when han-
dling hazardous liquids!
Liquidcansplash,driporoverowuncontrollably.
►Attach the nozzle to the hose using suitable
means (hose clamp, hose connector with wing
nut).Makesurethattherearenoleaks.
►Switch on the pump.
►Gripthenozzlermly.
►Insert the jet of the nozzle deep into the con-
tainer.
►Press the lever slowly several times to vent the
hose system.
►Fill the container slowly so that it does not over-
ow.
►Allow the nozzle to drip out well.
6. Maintenance
►Visually inspect the nozzle regularly. Take leaking
or damaged nozzle out of operation and have it
repaired if necessary.
!DANGER
Risk of re and explosion due to electrostatic
charge!
When used in potentially explosive atmospheres
orwhenpumpingammableliquids,pleasenote:
►Cleaning and assembly/disassembly only outside
the potentially explosive area.
►For repeat tests according to EN 12115, the
conductivity of the hose line must be checked
together with the nozzle. During the conductiv-
ity check the rotary joint must be moved into all
possible positions.

7. Repairs
!DANGER
Risk of re and explosion due to electrostatic
charge!
When used in potentially explosive atmos-
pheres or when pumping ammable liquids,
please note:
►Assembly/disassembly only outside the hazard-
ous area
►Only use Lutz spare parts. If other spare parts
are used, liability on the part of Lutz Pumpen is
obsolete.

is missing, the 3 balls fall out of the rotary joint
and the nozzle will not be properly sealed.
The fastening screw is protected by the protective
clamp from coming loose.
►When making repair works, make sure that
always 3 balls are attached at the rotary joint.
►Replace the hoop guard bracket if the securing
eectfortheanchoringbolt isnolongersuf-
cient.
!DANGER
Risk of re and explosion due to electrostatic
charge!
When used in potentially explosive atmos-
pheres or when pumping ammable liquids,
observe after repair work:
►The conductivity of the hose line must be checked
together with the nozzle.
►The rotary joint must be moved to all possible
positions during the conductivity test.
Before sending back the appliance, following must
be observed:
►Residuals in the appliance can cause danger to
the environment and human health. The appli-
ance must be completely emptied, rinsed and
cleaned.
►Pleaseadvisewhichliquidhasbeenpumped.A
respective safety data sheet must be attached to
