the LUXAMAX AVA 3-in-1 Smart Facial Cleansing and Rejuvenating Device. Before you begin to enjoy all
the benets of sophisticated skincare technology in the comfort of your home, please take a few moments
to carefully read the instructions in this user manual.
Please READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USE and utilize this product only for its intended use as
described in this manual.

CHARGE YOUR LUXAMAX AVA
HOW TO USE YOUR LUXAMAX AVA
The USB-enabled charger allows the device to be rechargeable using either a traditional wall mount DC
adapter or USB port on a computer.
• Before the rst use, fully charge your LUXAMAX AVA.
• Always ensure that your hands, the LUXAMAX AVA device, and the charging base are dry before
charging.
• Insert the cord into the power supply and the charging base. Then plug the power supply into an outlet.
You may also plug the cord directly into a USB port on a computer. Place your LUXAMAX AVA into the
charging base.
• When your LUXAMAX AVA is charging, the battery indicators blink alternately red.
• When fully charged, the battery indicators will turn steady red. Now you can unplug the charging base
and your LUXAMAX AVA 3-in-1 Smart Facial Cleansing and Rejuvenating Device is ready to use.
• When the battery is low and needs to be charged, the battery indicators turn red. You should charge
the device as instructed above.
Note: Use a standard USB adapter conforming to LUXAMAX AVA charging output in case you need a wall
mount DC adapter to charge your device.
The LUXAMAX AVA 3-in-1 Smart Facial Cleansing and Rejuvenating Device is available in three dierent
modes, each one with a proprietary technology: PURIFY Mode providing High-Tech Facial Cleanser
& Firming Massager, LUXIFY Mode offering Skincare infusion & Collagen Boosting System, and UVC
Mode featuring the Revolutionary Self-Disinfection Technology.
To maximize the skincare benefits of your LUXAMAX AVA 3-in-1 Smart Facial Cleansing and
Rejuvenating Device, we suggest you use it every day.

4PURIFY MODE
Step 1:
Remove as much makeup as you can. You may also do this by applying your makeup remover.
Then dampen your face thoroughly.
Step 2:
Turn on your device by pressing and holding the power button which activates the PURIFY
Mode. Three dierent intensities—for sensitive, normal, and oily skin types—are available to
suit every user’s comfort and eicacy requirements. Use the intensity buttons to adjust your
preferred treatment intensity.
Step 3:
Apply a layer of your regular cleansing product on the silicone cleansing brush. Place the
silicone head against your skin, gliding it continuously and evenly across the entire treatment
area, from bottom to top, from inside to outside.
Step 4:
Your LUXAMAX AVA turns o automatically after 2 minutes which means you have
successfully nished your treatment on the PURIFY Mode. Now rinse and dry your face to
complete the cleansing routine. Then switch to LUXIFY Mode as needed.
Note: When treating, divide your face into 5 zones as shown in the
picture below to ensure an even purifying over the entire face. Treat
zone A for 30 seconds, then move on to zones B (20 seconds), C (10
seconds), D (30 seconds), and E (30 seconds).

LUXIFY MODE
Step 1:
Having completed the PURIFY Mode, now you are ready to proceed to the LUXIFY Mode.
Step 2:
Turn on your device by pressing and holding the power button. Then press it again to activate
the LUXIFY Mode.
Step 3:
Apply a layer of your regular skincare product on your face evenly. Place the LUXIFY head
against your skin, gliding it continuously and evenly across the entire treatment area, from
bottom to top, from inside to outside. You will feel a warming sensation while treating
with the AVA's LUXIFY Mode.
• Do not use the LUXIFY Mode directly on the eyes, eyelids, ears, and throat (Adam’s apple area).
Step 4:
Your LUXAMAX AVA turns off automatically after 3 minutes which means you
have successfully finished your treatment on the LUXIFY Mode.
Note: When treating, follow the directions as shown in the picture
below to ensure correct treatment over your face. Treat your forehead,
nose, chin, and cheeks each one for 35 seconds.

6 TESTING THE LUXIFY MODE
UVC MODE
INSERT/ REPLACE YOUR UVC SELF-DISINFECTION BATTERY
Turn on your LUXAMAX AVA on the LUXIFY Mode and place a few drops of water on the metal head. You
will see the water drops are vibrated and become atomized. This is how ultrasound currents break your
skincare products into nanoparticles and make their essential nutrients penetrate 4000 times deeper into
skin layers. Such powerful ultrasonic currents, when inltrated deeply into the skin, give a cleansing and
massage eect to your skin.
Your LUXAMAX AVA features the revolutionary automated UVC disinfecting cap which ensures that
your silicone facial-cleansing brush stays always disinfected and sanitized in a sterile, chemical-free
environment. The UVC disinfection process starts immediately after you have placed the disinfecting cap
on the silicone cleansing brush. Once the self-disinfection is done, it turns o automatically.
. 1Twist the outer lid counterclockwise, then gently twist the inner lid counterclockwise with your
ngernails.
. 2To remove the old battery, press the metal buckle beside the battery with your ngertips. The battery
will automatically pop up, then you can simply take out the battery.
. 3Slot the new battery into the battery socket with the negative side facing up. Then apply downward
pressure until the battery locks in position.
. 4Once the battery is installed, gently twist the inner lid clockwise with your ngernails to close the
battery lid.
. 5Now close the outer lid by twisting it clockwise.
Note: The UVC disinfection battery is not inserted in the device in the factory. You should insert it yourself
before the rst use.

CLEANING YOUR LUXAMAX AVA
LONG-TERM STORAGE
Always clean your LUXAMAX AVA thoroughly after use. Rinse your device of any excess cleanser with
warm water and soap, then pat dry with a lint-free cloth or towel.
Note: Before cleaning LUXAMAX AVA, make sure that your device is turned o and unplug the charging
base from the LUXAMAX AVA and the power outlet.
If you do not plan on using your LUXAMAX AVA for a long period:
• Make sure that your device is turned o and unplug the charging base from the LUXAMAX AVA and the
power outlet.
• Clean your LUXAMAX AVA as instructed in the user manual and then store it carefully in its original
packaging.
• Avoid leaving your LUXAMAX AVA in humid environments and never expose it to direct sunlight, extreme
heat, extreme cold, or boiling water.
• We recommend that you recharge the device every 3 months to maintain the life of the battery.

8IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
LUXAMAX AVA 3-in-1 Smart Facial Cleansing and Rejuvenating System is an electric device. When using
LUXAMAX AVA, especially when children are present, basic safety precautions should always be followed,
including but not limited to the following:
•Do not place the LUXAMAX AVA charging base, cord, or UVC disinfecting cap into water or other
liquid. These components are not waterproof and should not be immersed or used in the shower.
•Do not reach for an AVA charger component that has fallen into the water. Unplug immediately.
•Do not handle the charging base, cord, or UVC disinfecting cap with wet hands.
•Avoid using clay-based, silicone-based, or grainy cleansers, exfoliators, or scrubs, as they may damage
the LUXAMAX AVA’s soft silicone touch-points.
•To avoid the risk of electric shock, this equipment must only be connected to an electrical supply
system with protective earth.
•Discontinue use if this product appears damaged in any way. This product contains no serviceable parts.
•Only use the charging base and cord supplied by LUXAMAX with the device.
•Avoid leaving your LUXAMAX AVA in direct sunlight and never expose it to extreme heat, extreme cold,
or boiling water.
•If you are under a doctor’s care for any skin condition or if you think you may have a skin condition,
please consult a dermatologist before use.
•Using LUXAMAX AVA should be comfortable – if you experience discomfort, discontinue use
immediately and consult a physician.
•The LUXAMAX AVA Skin Revitalizing & Collagen Boosting System generates a small amount of heat.
Always keep LUXIFY metal head moving over your skin in small overlapping circles to reduce the risk of
discomfort.
•The LUXAMAX AVA High-Tech Facial Cleanser & Firming Massager is safe to use in the shower or
wet environment. However, the charging base as well as the UVC disinfecting cap should not be
exposed to water.
•For reasons of hygiene, we do not recommend sharing your LUXAMAX AVA with anyone else.
•LUXAMAX AVA PURIFY Mode can be used by children aged 8 years old and above. However, the
LUXIFY Mode is not suitable for those under the age of 18.
•Close supervision is necessary when this device is used by, on, or near children, as well as those
with reduced physical and mental abilities.
•LUXAMAX AVA is not a toy and children should not play with it. Keep out of reach of children.
•Cleaning and user maintenance should not be performed by children.
•Exercise particular care when treating the under-eye regions and do not bring the device into contact
with the eyelids or eyes themselves.
•Do not use LUXAMAX AVA on raised moles or compromised skin.
•For best results, treat your face with your LUXAMAX AVA every day.

• Given the eiciency of the LUXAMAX AVA 3-in-1 Smart Facial Cleansing and Rejuvenating routines, we
recommend that you do not use the device for more than 5 minutes at a time (i.e. 2 minutes for PURIFY
Mode and 3 minutes for LUXIFY Mode).
• LUXAMAX AVA is designed to treat your face and neck. Do not treat your entire body with this device.
• LUXAMAX AVA is designed only for use at home. Do not use this device for any purpose other than those
described in this manual.

2-YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY
LUXAMAX warrants this device for a period of TWO (2) YEARS after the original date of purchase, against
defects due to faulty workmanship or materials. If you discover a defect and notify LUXAMAX during the
warranty period, LUXAMAX will, at its discretion, replace the device free of charge. The warranty covers
working parts that aect the device’s function. It does NOT cover purely cosmetic deterioration caused by
fair wear and tear or damage caused by accident, misuse or neglect. Any attempt to open or disassemble
the device (or its accessories) will void the warranty. For any warranty claim, reasonable evidence must be
provided that the date of the claim is within the warranty period. For this reason, please keep your original
purchase receipt for the duration of the warranty period. To claim your warranty, you must rst register and
log in to your account on www.luxamax.com, then select the option to make a warranty claim. You will be sent
a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number which should be returned with the LUXAMAX product
to your nearest LUXAMAX oice. Shipping costs are non-refundable. This undertaking is in addition to your
statutory rights as a consumer and does not aect those rights in any way.
