
Instrucons for Proper Usage and Installaon (Inlet)
1. Install socket inlet on the gas supply.
2. Install plug on the appliance connector.
3. Place knob or lever into “o” posion, push back sleeve of socket (Fig. #1), Insert plug (g. #2), and re-
lease sleeve.
4. Push plug unl sleeve snaps forward locking plug in socket (Fig. #3). Turn knob or lever to “on” posion
to turn gas on.
5. Leak test with leak test soluon.

CAUTION:
Gas connectors are to be installed by a gas service
technician only. Install according to local codes or
NFPA 54 (ANSI Z223.1) Naonal Fuel Gas Code.

1. This connector is for freestanding Lynx™ outdoor appliances that are movable for convenience of
operaon.
2. Connectors are designed for movement aer installaon, but must not be kinked or twisted. This
connector must be of adequate length for the applicaon. Periodic visual inspecon is needed to
ensure that the connector is suitable for connued use.
3. Do not aach to any other hose to extend the total length of the hose.
4. Contact with damaging foreign objects or substances must be avoided.
5. For use with system pressures not to exceed 1/2 PSI (3.5 Kpa).
6. Test for leaks only with leak test soluon and rinse with clear water aer leak test.
