Lynx SEDONA L700CART User manual

The following instrucons are provided to help you assemble the Sedona by Lynx™ cart.
IMPORTANT: Be sure to assemble on a so surface to prevent scratching the stainless steel.
Tools required: Regular phillips-head screwdriver, small crescent wrench and gloves.
Assembly Instructions:

Introducon:
Your freestanding cart comes with all of the components necessary to assemble a cart for the Sedona by Lynx™ series of grills.
The Sedona by Lynx™ cart series is comprised of 8 sub assemblies:
1. Back Panel Assembly
2. Right Side Panel Assembly with Shelf
3. Le Side Panel Assembly with Shelf
4. Base Assembly with Wheels
5. Interior Shelf Assembly
6. Cross Brace Assembly
7. Right Door
8. Le Door (L600/700)
In addion there are 14 screws (¼-20x½) to assemble the cart and grill. There are also 4 screws with corresponding nuts
(#8-32 x 3/8) to aach the transformer assembly which is supplied with the grill.

Upon opening the box and idenfying the components you will need 3 parts to begin assembly. You will need
the back panel and the two side panels (L & R). Please note that you will need to have these parts upside
down. On the side panels, there are some rivets aached to them. Those rivets will line up with the slots on the
side of the back panel. You will need to push down the panel to lock it in place. Once you aach the side panels
with the back panel make sure the whole frame is ush to the top.

While the cart is upside down, locate the 4 #8 screws
and nuts. You will use these screws and nuts to aach
the transformer to the access plate. Make sure when
aaching the transformer to the access plate the cord
is facing up. You can also aach the transformer to
the access plate upon the full assembly compleon of
the cart.

To aach the base of the cart you will need to space
out the side panels on the cart enough to slide in
the base. Make sure when you aach the base to
the panels that the tank holder is on the le hand
side of the frame while upside down.

On the frame there some notches where the base will slide into. Make sure the caster wheels sit above the frame of
the cart. Use 4 1/4-20 x 1/2 screws to aach the base to the frame.

Step 4
Now turn the cart right side up to aach the inner shelves. For
the L400 & L500 there is a Right triangle shelf with an electrical
hole. For the L600 & L700 there is a full shelf with an electrical
hole.
On the back panel and le side panel there are 2 holes where
you would aach the shelf to the panels. Make sure the shelf is
fully secured to the cart.
To secure the interior shelf use 4 1/4-20 x 1/2 screws.

Step 5
Locate the cross bar and slide it into the slots on the
front of the frame. On the L400/L500 the cross bar
has magnets. On the ends of the cross bar you will see
inserts for the screws to aach the bar to the frame.
Use 2 1/4-20 x 1/2 screws to aach the cross bar to
the frame. The hinges are aached to the side panel
(if they are not visible ensure the panel is not facing
the wrong direcon).

doors to the hinges.
On the L600/L700 you will need to mount the door
frame and cross bar at the same me. First you will
need to remove the doors from the frame. To remove
the doors you can slide them upwards o the hinge.
Then you can insert the cross bar onto the slots on the
cart frame. Then you will insert the door frame and align
the frame with the cross bar. Make sure the inserts are
lined up to install the screws. Use 4 1/4-20 x 1/2 screws
to secure the door frame and cross bar. Please note the
boom le/right screws you aached during the base
installaon need to be removed and reaached with the
frame. Once the frame is secured to the cart install the

Step 6
You will need a second person for this next step. Remove all packing
materials from the grill. Remove the cooking grates, briquee trays,
burners and warming rack to lighten the grill. You will need to place
the grill onto the cart. The back of the grill needs to be set into the cart
rst. Then the front of the grill will slide into posion aer that.
You may need to loosen 4 of the Screws inside the rebox. (See Step 7)
We recommend wearing gloves while inserng the grill into the cart.
Make sure the grill is ush with the cart horizontally. If not horizontal
re-adjust. You may need to loosen the screws a lile more.
Do not use the knobs on the grill for a
grip as it can damage them.
Step 7
Replace the screws on the inside of the rebox with 4 1/4-20 x 1/2 screws
that came with the cart.
Refer to the installaon manual provided with the grill for the proper electrical and gas connecons.
