DESCRIPTION
The M125i is a 3-way speaker system designed for mid- and near-field
use in small to medium sized venues. The acoustic design is optimized for
monitor like sound at high SPL's. The very compact size of the enclosure
makes it particularly suitable for high output venues with low overhead fix-
ing points. The trapezoidal shape of the cabinet needs minimal space
when flown horizontally.
The M125i can operate in full range mode, but the ideal application is in
combination with the M152i subwoofer below 100 Hz. It features a 12”
low-mid unit with a 3”voice coil with excellent clarity and speed. The 6”
unit enables the M125i to handle critical program material with excellent
clarity and detail. Due to the very extended frequency response of the 6”
unit, two 1”dome tweeters can be used as HF units. The 1”tweeters are
engaged at 8 kHz and cooled with magnetic oil, thus maintaining power
handling and performing with a claity unparrallelled by any compression
driver.
The cabinet is made of Medium Density Fiber with very high inner dam-
ping and excellent surface finish. The black aluminum profiles and the
tough moisture resistant steel grill underline the stylish yet rugged design
of the M125i. The cabinet is made of 19 mm MDF and is built around an
integrated solid steel frame combining reinforcement and 10 M10 flying
points. The M125i is also available in white.
