IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
This manual contains Safety Instructions, Installation and Operating Instructions, and Troubleshooting Tips.
Please carefully read this manual before using your dehumidifier for instructions on how to use and maintain the
product properly. Be sure to follow the safety instructions to avoid injury or damage to the product.
Keep this manual. When passing on/selling the device to a third party, the manual must be handed over along
with the device.
Before calling for service, please make sure unit is installed and being used correctly, and read the troubleshooting
section.
WARNING: When using your appliance, follow the precautions listed below.
NOTE: Specifications may change at any time without notice.
1. This appliance is for household use only. It is not intended for commercial applications. DO NOT use for
other than the intended purpose.
2. The appliance is intended for indoor use only. DO NOT use outdoors.
3. This appliance should not be operated by anyone with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or
does not have experience with this type of equipment, unless under supervision.
4. Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children. DO NOT let children play
with the appliance.
5. Use caution when unpacking and installing the unit. Sharp edges may cause injury.
6. CAUTION: Before using, verify that the outlet is a properly installed and grounded 120V-60Hz outlet.
7. Do not touch or operate the unit when barefoot or with wet or damp hands.
8. DO NOT unplug your appliance by pulling on the power cord. ALWAYS grasp the plug firmly and pull it
straight out from the outlet.
9. DO NOT modify or repair the unit by yourself, or use any unauthorized parts to attempt to repair the
dehumidifier.
10. Do not remove any fixed panels. Never use the dehumidifier if it is not working properly or if it has been
dropped or damaged.
11. DO NOT operate any appliance that has a damaged cord or plug; or if the unit is damaged or malfunctions
in any way. Contact customer service or a service technician.
12. Do not use the plug to start and stop the unit. Always use the power switch on the control panel.
13. ALWAYS unplug the appliance before cleaning the unit or before any repairs or maintenance.
14. Do not place or store the dehumidifier where it can fall into water or any other liquid. If this occurs,
immediately unplug the unit and call Customer Service. If the dehumidifier is knocked over during use,
immediately turn the unit off and unplug it from the main power supply.
15. Do not restrict or obstruct the airflow at the inlet or outlet vents.
16. Be sure to place the dehumidifier on a flat, sturdy surface or the unit may not sense the level of the water
in the moisture container and cause water leakage.
17. Do not use abrasive cleaning products or spray liquids to clean the dehumidifier.
18. Do not operate the dehumidifier in the presence of flammable substances or vapors such as alcohol,
insecticides, gasoline, etc. Do not place the power cord near flammable gas or combustibles such as
gasoline, benzene, thinner, etc.

19. Ventilate the room before operating the dehumidifier, especially if there is a gas leakage from another
appliance, or when operating the dehumidifier together with a stove or similar products as an oxygen
shortage may occur.
20. Do not direct airflow towards room occupants as this may impact the health of occupants. Do not direct
airflow at a pet or plant.
21. Do not drink water drained from the dehumidifier.
22. Unplug the dehumidifier when not in use.
23. Please ensure that the appliance is plugged directly into the electrical outlet.
24. The appliance shall be installed in accordance with national wiring regulations.

BEFORE USE
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
• Before using the dehumidifier, remove all packaging materials and the protective film on the dehumidifier
body. Place the unit vertically in a well-ventilated, indoor environment on a flat, sturdy surface.
• Make sure that there is at least 8” (20cm) on both sides and at the back of the dehumidifier for proper
circulation, and that no objects are blocking the vents.
• Check the moisture container at the bottom rear of the unit for proper installation.
• The dehumidifier works with thermoelectric technology. When the thermoelectric system is working, water
vapor in the air will go through a cooling sink in the unit and condense to water, which is collected in the
moisture container.
• To use the dehumidifier, place on a level surface and plug into a properly installed electrical outlet. Press
the Power button and the unit will begin working. A blue LED indicator on the Power button will light when
the unit is in operation.
• When the moisture container is full and needs to be emptied, an orange LED indicator on the Power button
will be lit.
• To turn the unit off, push the Power button. When you are not using the dehumidifier, unplug the cord from
the outlet and remove any water from the moisture container.
• When the moisture container is full, the orange LED on the power button will illuminate, indicating it the
container needs to be drained. Pull the moisture container out of the unit, remove the top lid, and pour out
the water in it. When re-installing, be sure that the white float valve is in the same position in the container
before putting back into the dehumidifier.

CARE AND MAINTENANCE
TROUBLESHOOTING
• Before cleaning or doing any maintenance, unplug your dehumidifier.
• Remove the water from the moisture container and clean it periodically to prevent odors from developing.
• Be careful not to spill water when you remove the moisture container from the unit.
• Clean the sides and the back of the dehumidifier periodically to keep the vents free from dust.
• Wipe the exterior with a damp, soapy cloth and dry with a towel.
• Reconnect to power when the dehumidifier is clean and dry.
WARNING: This unit is not recommended for use when the ambient temperature is higher than 104°F.

LIMITED WARRANTY
MC Appliance Corporation warrants each new Dehumidifier to be free from defects in material and workmanship, and agrees to
remedy any such defect or to furnish a new part(s), at the company’s option, for any part(s) of the unit that have failed during
the warranty period. Parts and labor expenses are covered on this unit for a period of one year from the date of purchase. A
copy of the dated sales receipt or invoice is required to receive warranty service by an authorized service agent.
This warranty covers appliances in use within the continental United States, Alaska, Hawaii, and Puerto Rico. This warranty does not
cover the following:
• Damages due to shipping damage or improper installation or electrical connections.
• Damages due to misuse or abuse.
• Content losses due to failure of the unit.
• Repairs performed by unauthorized service agents.
• Service calls that do not involve defects in material and workmanship such as instructions on proper use of the product
and door reversal or improper installation.
• Replacement or resetting of house fuses or circuit breakers.
• Failure of this product if used for other purposes than its intended purpose.
• Disposal costs for failed unit not returned to our factory.
• Any delivery/installation costs incurred as the result of a unit that fails to perform as specified.
• Expenses for travel and transportation for product service if your appliance is located in a remote area where service by
an authorized service technician is not available.
• The removal and reinstallation of your appliance if it is installed in an inaccessible location or is not installed in accord-
ance with published installation instructions.
• Refunds for non-repairable products are limited to the price paid for the unit per the sales receipt.
Limitations of Remedies and Exclusions:
Product repair in accordance with the terms herein, is your sole and exclusive remedy under this limited warranty. Any and all
implied warranties including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose are hereby limited to one year or the shortest
period allowed by law. MC Appliance Corporation is not liable for incidental or consequential damages and no representative or
person is authorized to assume for us any other liability in connection with the sale of this product. Under no circumstances is
the consumer permitted to return this unit to the factory without the prior written consent of MC Appliance Corporation.
Some states prohibit the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, or limitations on implied warranties.
This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state.

INSTRUCCIONES DE SEGURIDAD IMPORTANTES
Este manual contiene instrucciones de seguridad, instrucciones de instalación y funcionamiento, y consejos para
la resolución de problemas. Lea atentamente este manual antes de usar el deshumidificador para conocer las
instrucciones sobre cómo usar y mantener el producto correctamente. Asegúrese de seguir las instrucciones de
seguridad para evitar lesiones personales o dañar el producto.
Guarde este manual. Al transferir o vender el aparato a un tercero, el manual debe entregarse junto con el
aparato.
Antes de contactar a servicio técnico, revise que la unidad esté bien instalada y que se esté usando
correctamente, y lea la sección de solución de problemas.
ADVERTENCIA: Cuando use su aparato, siga las precauciones que se indican a continuación:
NOTA: Las especificaciones pueden cambiar en cualquier momento sin previo aviso.
1. Este aparato es solo para uso doméstico. No está destinado a aplicaciones comerciales. NO lo use para otro

de alguna manera. Póngase en contacto con el servicio al cliente o un técnico de servicio.
12. No utilice el enchufe para iniciar y detener la unidad. Utilice siempre el interruptor de encendido en el
panel de control.
13. SIEMPRE desenchufe el aparato antes de limpiar la unidad o antes de cualquier reparación o mantenimiento.
14. No coloque ni almacene el deshumidificador donde pueda caer al agua o cualquier otro líquido. Si esto
ocurre, desconecte inmediatamente la unidad y llame al Servicio al Cliente. Si el deshumidificador se
voltea durante el uso, apague inmediatamente la unidad y desconéctela de la fuente de alimentación
principal.
15. No restrinja ni obstruya el flujo de aire en las ventilaciones de entrada o salida.
16. Asegúrese de colocar el deshumidificador sobre una superficie resistente y plana, de lo contrario, la unidad
no detectará el nivel de agua en el depósito de agua y provocará fugas de agua.

17. No utilice productos de limpieza abrasivos ni líquidos en aerosol para limpiar el deshumidificador.
18. No opere el deshumidificador en presencia de sustancias o vapores inflamables como alcohol, insecticidas,
gasolina, etc. No coloque el cable de alimentación cerca de gases inflamables o combustibles como
gasolina, benceno, diluyentes, etc.
19. Ventile la habitación antes de operar el deshumidificador, especialmente si hay una fuga de gas de otro
electrodoméstico, o cuando opere el deshumidificador junto con una estufa o productos similares, ya que
puede producirse déficit de oxígeno.
20. No dirija el flujo de aire hacia los ocupantes de la habitación, ya que esto puede ser perjudicial para la
salud. No dirija el flujo de aire a una mascota o planta.
21. No beba el agua drenada por el deshumidificador.
22. Desenchufe el deshumidificador cuando no esté en uso.
23. Asegúrese de que el aparato esté enchufado directamente al tomacorriente.
24. El electrodoméstico debe instalarse de acuerdo con las regulaciones nacionales de cableado.

ANTES DE USAR
INSTRUCCIONES DE FUNCIONAMIENTO
• Antes de usar el deshumidificador, retire todos los materiales de embalaje y la película protectora del
cuerpo del deshumidificador. Coloque la unidad verticalmente en una habitación bien ventilada sobre una
superficie plana y resistente.
• Asegúrese de que haya al menos una separación de 8” (20 cm) a ambos lados y en la parte posterior del
deshumidificador para que haya una adecuada circulación de aire, y que ningún objeto bloquee las rejillas
de ventilación.
• Revise el depósito de agua en la parte inferior trasera de la unidad para corroborar su correcta instalación.
• El deshumidificador funciona con tecnología termoeléctrica. Cuando el sistema termoeléctrico está
funcionando, el vapor de agua en el aire pasará a través de un sumidero de enfriamiento en la unidad y se
condensará en agua, que se recoge en el depósito de agua.
• Para usar el deshumidificador, colóquelo en una superficie nivelada y enchúfelo a un tomacorriente
eléctrico debidamente instalado. Presione el botón de Encendido y la unidad comenzará a funcionar. Se
prenderá un indicador LED azul en el botón de Encendido cuando la unidad esté en funcionamiento.
• Cuando el depósito de agua se llena y deba ser vaciado, se prenderá un indicador LED naranja en el botón
de Encendido.
• Para apagar la unidad, presione el botón de Encendido. Cuando no esté utilizando el deshumidificador,
desenchufe el cable del tomacorriente y retire el agua del depósito.
• Cuando el depósito de agua está lleno, el LED naranja en el botón de encendido se iluminará, indicando
que necesita ser vaciado. Extraiga el depósito de agua de la unidad, retire la tapa superior y vacíe el agua.
Al volver a instalar, asegúrese de que la válvula de flotación blanca quede en la misma posición en el
recipiente antes de volver a colocarlo en el deshumidificador.

CUIDADO Y MANTENIMIENTO
SOLUCIÓN DE PROBLEMAS
• Antes de limpiar o hacer cualquier mantenimiento, desenchufe el deshumidificador.
• Retire el agua del depósito y límpielo periódicamente para evitar que se generen olores.
• Tenga cuidado de no derramar agua cuando retire el depósito de la unidad.
• Limpie los lados y la parte posterior del deshumidificador periódicamente para mantener las rejillas de
ventilación libres de polvo.
• Limpie el exterior con un paño húmedo y jabonoso y seque con una toalla.
• Reconecte a la corriente cuando el deshumidificador esté limpio y seco.
ADVERTENCIA: No se recomienda el uso de esta unidad cuando la temperatura ambiente sea superior a 104°F.
