Getting Started
16
Charging the Powerbank
Charge the battery completely prior to using the Powerbank
for the first time. Charge time of the battery depends on the
selected charging source and its output.
− For charging the Powerbank only use power
supplies with an output voltage of 5V and an
output current of at least 1A. The device is also
optimised for USB 3.0 charge connections to
your computer.
− When charging over a USB connection, ensure
that at least one additional USB connection
remains unused so that sufficient Amps are
available for charging. This also applies when
using USB 3.0 connections.
Charging via Micro USB Charge cable
Connect the provided Micro USB Charge cable 2between
a PC (that is not in sleep mode) or USB power supply (not
included) and the Powerbank’s Micro USB port 4.

device may take longer.
1. Connect the device to be charged to the Powerbank’s
8-pin Charge cable 3or the Micro USB Charge cable
7. Charging starts automatically once the device is
connected.
2. If the charging process does not begin automatically,
briefly press the Powerbank’s On/Off switch 5to start

4. To finish the charge process, remove the charge cable from
the device being charged. The Charge indicator LEDs will
dim immediately.
When recharging the Powerbank’s internal
battery, a mobile device may be charged
simultaneously, however the output voltage will
be at a reduced rate and the charge time for the
device may take longer.

Troubleshooting
The Powerbank will not charge
• Check that the Powerbank is correctly connected.
• In some cases it may occur that a USB 2.0 connection is
unable to charge the Powerbank. Proceed to test with a
USB 3.0 connection or a separate power supply.
• With some computers it may require that you turn off the
USB power supply connection if the computer is turned off.
Ensure that the computer is switched on.
The Powerbank is not charged
• Check whether the Powerbank battery is full.
• Check that the connection to the Powerbank is inserted
correctly.
• If the charging process is disrupted after 20 seconds, the
charging current of the device is less than 45mA. This
device cannot be charged using the Powerbank.
The Powerbank does not respond
• The power consumption of the connected devices is too
high. This triggers the internal overcurrent protection.
Reduce the number of connected devices.
