After Sales Support
The product is guaranteed to be free from defects in workmanship and parts for a period
of 36 months from the date of purchase. Defects that occur within this warranty period,
under normal use and care, will be repaired, replaced or refunded at our discretion.
The benefits conferred by this warranty are in addition to all rights and remedies in
respect of the product that the consumer has under the Competition and Consumer
Act 2010 and similar state and territory laws.
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer
Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and for compensation
for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have the
goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure
does not amount to a major failure.

Congratulations on purchasing a high quality MAGINON product.
You have purchased modern Bluetooth® Sports Earphones with excellent technical features
and respective accessories, which are extremely easy to operate.
Please study all notices carefully and diligently. Please study this information in detail observing, in
particular, all the safety instructions. The earphones come with a 3 year warranty.
You will need the warranty card and proof of purchase to return the earphones if defective. Keep
these in a safe place together with the Instruction Manual.
Please include the Instruction Manual when passing on the earphones to a third party.

3. Hazard, safety and warning notices
Incorrect use of the Bluetooth® Sports Earphones and accessories can be dangerous for
you and others and can damage or destroy the earphones. We therefore ask you to read
and strictly observe the following Hazard, safety and warning notices.
Intended use
These Bluetooth® Sports Earphones are designed for the playback of audio signals.
They have been designed for private use and are not suitable for commercial purposes
Hazards for children and persons with limited ability to
operate electronic equipment
Earphones, accessory and packaging are not toys for children. These should
therefore always be kept away from children. Danger of electrocution, poisoning and
suffocation.
The earphones and accessory may not be used by children and persons with
impaired ability to operate such equipment. Earphones and USB charging cables
may only be used by persons physically and mentally able to operate these safely.
Note for Bluetooth® equipment
Bluetooth® equipment operates with short wave radio signals. This can affect the
operation of other electronic equipment or medical equipment.
Switch of earphones in areas where their operation is prohibited.
Do not use earphones in medical facilities, on board of aircrafts, at petrol stations or
near to automatic fire detectors or automatically controlled equipment.
Keep earphones at least 20 cm away from pacemakers and other medical equipment.
Radio waves can influence the function of heart pacemakers and other medical
equipment.

Electrocution hazard in wet and humid conditions
Earphones and USB charging cable may not be exposed to dripping or spray
water. Also do not place any containers filled with liquid, such as vases or glasses on
top or immediately next to the device. Danger of fire and electrocution.
Do hot charge earphones close to water. Danger of fire and electrocution.
Do not charge earphones in areas of high humidity, considerable steam, smoke
or dust. Danger of fire and electrocution.
Electrical hazard
In the event of foreign bodies or liquid having entered the Bluetooth® Sports
Earphones, switch off earphones. Leave everything to dry out fully. Otherwise danger
of fire or electrocution.
If the earphones have been dropped or the housing has been damaged switch
earphones off. Otherwise danger of fire or electrocution.
The earphones may not be taken apart, modified or repaired. Danger of fire and
electrocution.
Damage from heat – re hazard
Do not leave earphones in places that are susceptible to considerable increases
in temperature (e.g. inside a vehicle).The housing and internal parts may be
damaged, which in turn could cause a fire.
Do not wrap up earphones or place on textiles.This could produce a build-up of
heat in the earphones that can cause deformation of the housing and may represent
a fire hazard.
Hazards of using the lithium-polymer batteries
Risk of explosion in case of incorrect changing of the integrated batteries.
Do not throw integrated battery into fire, short-circuit battery or take battery
apart. Danger of explosion.
Battery must be disposed of in line with the Battery Directive.

Injuries and material damage
Damage to the electronics or to the housing caused by external influences, such as
electric shocks, falls or others are not covered by the warranty and shall to be charged
for.
WARNING – In order to prevent any damage to your hearing,
avoid listening at high volume over long periods of time.

5. Preparation
Prior to using the Bluetooth® Sports Earphones, rst charge the integrated lithium-
polymer battery.You can then connect the earphones to a Bluetooth® device such as a
Smartphone or a Tablet PC.
5.1. Charging the battery
Prior to using the Bluetooth® Sports Earphones or in case of low charge level, the
integrated battery must be charged. A low charging level is indicated, by the earphones
giving o ve audio signals every ve minutes and the ashing control LED.
To charge the battery, the supplied USB charging cable must be connected to the
earphone marked with ”R“, as shown below.
Insert the upper end of the earphones cable into the provided cable support at the
USB charging cable. Now open the retaining clamp by pushing it together. Connect the
contacts of the retaining clamp to the contacts of the earphones and close retaining
clamp again.

5.2. Fixing ear adapters and over ear holder
The earphones are supplied with three dierent sized ear adapters, from which you
can select the suitable size. Push the desired ear adapter over the loudspeaker of your
earphones until it is fully covered. Simply pull o earphones to change adapter.
To attain a better hold when wearing the earphones, the supplied over ear holder can also
be used. Please do not cover the microphone with the over ear holder. To avoid this, the
over ear holder has a cut out for the microphone.
5.3. Switching earphones on and o
Switch on the Bluetooth® Sports Earphones by keeping the multi-function button
depressed [ ] for approx. 4 seconds until the blue control LED ashes During switch-on
the last used Bluetooth® connection is automatically reinstated.
To switch o the earphones again, keep multi-function button- [ ] depressed for approx.
another 4 seconds until the red control LED lights up for approx. 1 sec.
5.4. Establish Bluetooth® connection
In order to establish a new connection between the Bluetooth® Sports Earphones and a
Bluetooth® device, the earphones must be switched on in the connection mode. Whilst
the earphones are switched o hold down multi-function key [ ] for approx. 8 seconds
until the control LED ashes blue and red.

The process for establishing a connection can dier depending on the Bluetooth® device.
Please also check the manual of the Bluetooth® device for further information.
Now proceed as follows:
1. The distance between the Bluetooth® Sports Earphones and Bluetooth® device should
not exceed 1 meter.
2. Switch on Bluetooth® Sports Earphones in connection mode (see above).
3. Activate you’re the Bluetooth® function in your Bluetooth® device.
4. Search for Bluetooth® devices within the range and select entry“BTH100“ from the list
of available devices.
5. Where required enter password“0000“ (not required for devices using Bluetooth®
V2.1 or higher).
6. If the device prompts to establish a connection, select“Yes“.
7. Select the Bluetooth® list of the mobile device ”BTH100“.
8. After successful connection the control LED of the earphones light up blue every 4 sec.
Information about establishing a connection:
If it is not possible to connect, switch off the earphones and try again.
Maybe the battery of the earphones has to be recharged or the distance to the
Bluetooth® device must be decreased.
Once a connection has been established it is stored in the earphones and in the
Bluetooth® device. The connection is then automatically established as soon as the
earphones and the Bluetooth® are within range again.
The Bluetooth® Sports Earphones can store up to 8 connections. In the event of more
than 8 connections, the oldest connection is deleted, when a new connection is stored.
When switched on, the Bluetooth® Sports Earphones automatically connect to the last
connected Bluetooth® device. In order to connect to another device as per sections
1-8, the Bluetooth® function of the currently connected device should first of all be
switched off.

5.5. Establishing multiple connections
The Bluetooth® Sports Earphones oer the option of establishing simultaneous
connections to two Bluetooth® devices. Proceed as follows:
1. Connect the first® device to the earphones as described in section 5.4.
2. Switch on earphones by keeping the multi-function button [ ] depressed for approx.
8 seconds, thus reactivating the connecting mode.
3. Now establish the connection to a second Bluetooth® device as described in section 5.4.
4. Connect the first Bluetooth® device again to the earphones.
Information about multiple connections:
The devices store the connections after successful multiple connection. The devices do
therefore not have to be set up again when used next.
During switch-on the earphones automatically connect to the last two connected
Bluetooth® devices.
To switch off the multiple connection mode, first change to the Standby mode (no
Bluetooth® device connected). Hold down the multi-function button [ ] and button
[+] at the same time until a reducing sound is audible.
To switch on the multiple connection mode again first change to the Standby mode
(no Bluetooth® device connected). Hold down the multi-function button [ ] and
button [+] at the same time until an increasing sound is audible.

6. Using the Bluetooth® Sports Earphones
When a connection exists to the Bluetooth® device the earphones can be used to listen to
music, select titles or control the volume. You can also accept phone calls when connected
to a Smartphones.
6.1. Music playback
If the connected Bluetooth® device supports standard A2DP, wireless transmission of
music to the Bluetooth® Sports Earphones is possible. The control options listed in the
below table are available.

Playback information:
On some mobile radio devices music is played back through their loudspeakers rather
than the Bluetooth® Sports Earphones. In this open menu of mobile radio device and
select audio output through Bluetooth® device ”BTH100“.
Once the minimum or maximum volume setting has been reached, a brief signal tone
can be heard.

The functions“Previous title”,“Next title”,“Pause”and“Playback”are only available for
Bluetooth® devices supporting the AVRCP standard. Please also study the manual of
the Bluetooth® device for further information.
6.2. Making phone calls
Calls from a connected Smartphone can be handled by the Bluetooth® Sports Earphones.
The earphones contain a microphone for this purpose.
Below the functions available though the earphones are listed. Please note, however, that
not all listed functions are available with all Smartphone models. Please also observe the
information in the manual of your Smartphone.

Information about answering calls:
The functions and information sounds can differ from one mobile device to the next.
Once the minimum or maximum volume setting has been reached, a brief signal tone
can be heard.
If the call is directly accepted using the buttons of the mobile device, some
Smartphone models keep the calls at the device. You can take over the call with the
earphones, as described above.
If the microphone is muted and a call is active, a double sound is played every 10
seconds.
You can also handle two calls at once with the Bluetooth® Sports Earphones. These can
either be routed over a single Smartphone or two parallel connected Smartphones.

6.4. Restoring default settings
In order to reset all settings of the Bluetooth® Sports Earphones press button [+] for
approx. 4 seconds during charging until the control LED ashes red and blue. In addition a
quadruple sound signal can be heard.
During resetting of the settings also any stored connections of the Bluetooth® Sports
Earphones are deleted. When the earphones are switched on, the connection mode is
automatically active. New connections can thus be directly created.

8. System information, maintenance and
disposal

Bluetooth® is a registered trademark of Bluetooth® SIG.
8.1. Care
Do not use any corrosive cleaners such as mentholated spirits, thinners, etc. for cleaning
the Bluetooth® Sports Earphones or supplied accessory. When required, clean system
components with a soft dry cloth.
8.2. Storage
Check that the integrated battery is charged after the earphones have not bee used for
some time A. On a day-to-day basis and for longer periods the batteries can be kept at
a dry location out of reach of children.The earphones should also not be stored in areas
exposed to too low or too high temperatures.
8.3. Disposal
For disposal, separate packaging into dierent types and dispose of in line
with environmental regulations in supplied collection containers. Batteries
and storage batteries may not be disposed of in domestic waste.
Consumers are obliged by law to return used batteries to communal
collection points or dealers selling batteries. Storage batteries and
batteries do therefore contain the adjacent symbol.
The adjacent symbol indicates that electrical and electronic equipment
may not be disposed of in domestic waste in the EU. Please use the
returns and collection points of your local council or contact your dealer
you purchased the product from. This prevents potentially hazardous
eects on the environment and health as a result of incorrect disposal.
