この製品は、ヘッド、デテクタ一体型のデジルーラ用位置検出ユニットです。別売りの
スケールユニット(SL110/130シリーズ)と組合せることにより、直線上移動量を検出
し、パルス信号(A/B相)を出力します。
1-1. 主な特長
•ヘッド部とスケールユニットは非接触のため、耐環境性に優れています。
•外部磁場、ヘッドクリアランスの変動にも強く、高精度が得られます。
•最小分解能は、10µｍです。
1-2. 取付場所について
•この製品は、周囲温度範囲0〜+45℃以内で、直射日光や熱源を避けてご使用くだ
さい。
•大電力リレー、高電圧、大電流開閉器などのノイズ発生源から、0.5m以上離してご
使用ください。
•ヘッドケーブルおよび出力ケーブルは、動力ラインとは別配線してください。
•本機に結合して使用されるリレー、ソレノイド、モーターなどには、ノイズ防止策を
してください。
•デテクタ本体は、必ず接地してご使用ください。

2-1. ヘッド部の取付
•ヘッド部には「▽」印が付いている位置に検出センサが内蔵されています。「▽」印
がスケールの有効長内に常にあるように設定してください。
•ヘッドの固定には、ヘッドの検出面とスケールとの間に付属のスペーサを挟み込み付
属の固定ネジ(M3×14)を用いて取り付けてください。
•付属の固定ネジ(M3×14)は、取付ブラケットの厚みが9mmのときに適切な長さとな
るように設定されています。取付ブラケットの厚みが9mm以外のときには、適切な
長さのネジを使用してください。
•ヘッド取付後、スペーサを抜き取ってください。
•締め付けトルクは、0.6〜0.8N・mとしてください。
•ヘッド取付後、付属のケーブルクランプでケーブルを固定し、引き出し部のケーブル
の遊びを押さえてください。
スケールとヘッドの相対位置は下図を参照してください。
ヘッド部には、使用される状況により以下のオプションを用意しています。必要により
ご使用ください。

3-2. 分解能とスケール出力信号
•A/B相信号の位相差(Tw)は、移動速度に比例して変化します。
•アラーム発生時のスケール出力信号は、PL82はハイインピーダンスになります。
PL81は、連続して出力されます。
•アラーム発生時の出力パルスは、実際の移動量とは一致しませんのでご注意ください。
3. デテクタ部
3-1. デテクタ部の取付
•デテクタ部の取付面は、接地されている場所を選び、付属のネジ(M4×35)で2個所と
も固定してください。
•締め付けトルクは、1.4〜1.8N・mとしてください。
•接地されていない場所に取り付ける場合には、デテクタ本体をケーブル等で接地処理
を行なってください。
•出力コネクタは、カチッとクリック音がするまで差し込んでください。
•電源が入っている状態で出力コネクタの抜差しは絶対に行なわないでください。

3-3. 設定の変更
ディレクションの切り替え
デレクションの切り替えは、Sw2-1で行ないます。(初期設定:ON)

出力位相差について
デテクタ部のスケール信号出力は、スケールユニットとヘッド部の相対移動速度によ
り、最小位相差(1µs)から1µs＋N×200ns(N:整数)の幅で連続して変化します。
以下に、移動速度(V:m/min)と位相差(Tw: µs)の関係式を記します。
Tw=───R:分解能(µｍ)、Twは、0.2µs単位で切り捨て。
例:V=280m/minR=10µｍのとき
Tw=────=2.1428≒2.0[µs]
オープンコレクタ出力の場合、最小位相差は、受信装置および出力ケーブルの特性に影
響され、一般的な条件下では2µs程度となります。
3-4. アラーム信号
アラーム動作条件
•ヘッド部、ヘッドケーブルが断線した場合。
•スケールユニットとヘッド部のクリアランスがあき、ヘッド部の出力が低下した場合。
•外部から強力なノイズの影響を受け、誤動作した場合。
アラーム動作
デテクタ部のLEDが、グリーンからオレンジに変色し、アラーム信号が発生します。
アラームの解除
アラームの解除は、以下の方法で行なってください。
•デテクタ部内部のリセットスイッチ(Sw1)を押します。
•出力コネクタの、XRES端子と0V端子を、10ms以上ショートさせます。
•電源を再投入します。

4-1. 使用コネクタ
レセプタクル: PCR-E20LMDT
付属品: プラグ/PCR-E20FS(本多通信工業製)
プラグケース/PCS-E20LC(本多通信工業製)
付属のプラグ(PCR-E20FS)を使用する場合は、下図を参考にして接続してください。

注意
1. 空欄の端子には、ケーブルを接続しないでください。
2. +Vccには、PL81でDC+12〜24V、PL82でDC+5Vの電源電圧を加えてください。
9、18、20番ピンは、デテクタ内部で接続されています。
3. 0Vは回路GNDでありフレームGNDとは接続されていません。
12、14、16番ピンは、デテクタ内部で接続されています。
4. PL81使用時のみ、接続してください。他の機種を使用するときは、接続しないでく
ださい。
5. PL82使用時のみ、接続してください。他の機種を使用するときは、接続しないでく
ださい。
6. +Vccと0Vの各端子には、必ず全ての端子に電源供給ケーブルを接続してください。
7. 使用ケーブルは太さAWG20または22を用い、長さを30m以下としてください。半田
付部がプラグケースに接触しないようご注意ください。
4-2. 出力仕様図
出力ケーブル
•出力コネクタに接続するケーブルは、下記のようなシールドされたケーブルを使用し
てください。
•ケーブルのシールド線処理する場合は、デテクタ側のシールド線をコネクタケースの
ケーブルクランプ金具に接触するように、ケーブルと共締め固定してください。
また、ノイズ混入防止のため、極力短くしてください。
オープンコレクタ出力(PL81-#)
出力ケーブルは、太さをAWG26または28を用い、長さを30m以下としてください。
使用するケーブルは、線間容量150PF/m以下のものを使用してください。

6. スケールユニット(SL130)について
本項は、スケールユニット（SL130）を使用する場合にお読みください。その他のス
ケールを使用する場合は、それぞれのスケールに付属の取扱説明書をお読みください。
6-1. 各部の名称およびスケール取付方法
スケールの点検と手入れ
塵埃、切粉、切削油等のかかる場所でご使用になる場合は、ときどき布等でスケール面
を軽くふいてください。
ただし、アルコール、洗剤等は使用しないでください。

取付方法
1. 取付ける機械の近くに1時間程放置して、よく機械の
温度になじませてください。
2. スケール取付面とスケールベース裏面の油や汚れを
清浄な布にアルコールを含ませてふきとってくださ
い。その後、スケール取付面に付属の両面接着テー
プを貼り付けてから、機械に貼り付けます。
スケールベース取付け後、スケール面を保護するために
ステンレスのリボン(付属品)を貼ってご使用ください。
3. スケールベースを取付け後、清浄な布等にアルコー
ルを含ませてスケール面(ゴム磁石)を軽くふき、ゴ
ミ、油等を除きます。
4. 次に付属の両面接着テープをスケール面に貼り、裏
紙を剥しながら端から保護リボンを注意深く、ス
ケール面からはみ出さないように貼り付けていきま
す。
※保護リボンを取扱う際は折ったり、曲げたりしない
よう充分ご注意ください。

This product is a position detector unit for DIGIRULER that incorporates a head and a
detector. When used together with a separately purchased scale unit (SL110/130
series), this unit detects the movement amount over a straight line and outputs a pulse
signal (A/B phase).
1-1. Main Features
•The head unit does not contact the scale unit, providing excellent resistance to the
working environment.
•Resistance to external magnetic fields and fluctuations in head clearance results in
high accuracy.
•Minimum resolution: 10 µm
1-2. Installation Location
•This product should be used within an ambient temperature range of 0 to +45°C (32 °
to 113 °F), and should not be exposed to direct sunlight or heat sources.
•During operation, be sure to keep the unit 0.5 m or more away from large power
relays, high voltage or large current switches, or other sources of noise.
•Wire the head cable and output cable separately from power lines.
•When coupling relays, solenoids, motors or other devices to this unit, be sure to take
measures to prevent noise.
•Be sure to earth the detector main unit.

2-1. Installing the Head Unit
•The head unit contains a detection sensor at the position indicated by the mark. Set the
head unit so that the mark is constantly within the effective length of the scale.
•Insert the supplied spacer between the detection surface of the head and the scale
and secure the head unit using the supplied securing screws (M3 ×14).
•The supplied securing screws (M3 ×14) are designed with a length appropriate for an
mounting bracket thickness of 9 mm (0.35 inch). When using an mounting bracket
with a thickness of other than 9 mm (0.35 inch), be sure to use screws of the
appropriate length.
•After installing the head, remove the spacer.
•Tighten the screws with a tightening torque of 0.6 to 0.8 N•m.
•After installing the head, use the accessory cable clamps to secure the cable where it
extends from the head. Make sure the cable is not loose.
See the figure below for the relative positions of the scale and the head.
The following options are provided for the head unit. Select the necessary option
according to the conditions of use.
