2 INTRODUCTION
Congratulations on your choice! The unit you have purchased is a direct result of our experience in this
sector and it will guarantee you long-term, efcient operation.
This unit has been designed and built to ensure long lasting, high-level operating reliability with
maximum safety for operators. Magneti Marelli After Market Parts and Service has carefully selected
all materials and components (combined with the adoption of generous safety margins) together with
a management procedure based on continuous controls which, from the introduction of the product
into the company, through storage and use in the workshop, will ensure the absence of damage,
deterioration or malfunctions.
A further guarantee is provided by the strict factory tests and inspections to which the unit is subjected.
The user is therefore only responsible for ensuring proper use of the unit in accordance with the
instructions found in this manual.
It is essential that this unit is used according to the intended use specied in this manual. Magneti
Marelli After Market Parts and Service cannot be held responsible for any damage to persons, animals
and/or objects due to improper use, different to that illustrated in this instruction manual.
Magneti Marelli After Market Parts and Service reserves the right to modify the technical characteristics
and appearance of the product without prior notication.
This unit is designed for use in commercial environments and light industry.
The purpose of this manual is to supply the user with all the information needed to use the unit, from the
time of purchase through to its disposal.
This manual may contain printing errors.
The manual has been devised to ensure maximum support for the personnel assigned for use and
maintenance of the unit. However, for any special needs or requests for technical assistance or spare
parts, please contact our Customer Service department.

3 GUARANTEE
Commencement date and duration
Magneti Marelli After Market Parts and Service warrants its A/C recharging and diagnosing “ALASKA
PREMIUM/HFO” units for 12 (twelve) months as from date of purchase stated on Magneti Marelli sales
document.
Any intervention carried out during warranty period does not modify expiry date of the warranty itself.
Repairs
Warranty includes repair or replacement free of charge of components which, at Magneti Marelli’s
sole decretion, are shown to be defective in origin owing to faulty manufacturing or proven material
aws. It does not cover replacement the whole unit.
Warranty repairs must be carried out at the Service Centre indicated by Magneti Marelli. Under no
circumstances will repair be carried out on the customer’s premises.
The Service Centre cannot ensure minimum times for its repair operations, but undertakes to complete
them as quickly as possible.
Warranty instructions
To take advantage of the warranty, the purchaser must ship the A/C recharging and diagnosing
“ALASKA PREMIUM/HFO” unit carriage free to the Service Centre indicated by Magneti Marelli when
notied of the complaint.
The A/C recharging and diagnosing “ALASKA PREMIUM/HFO” unit must be shipped adequately
packaged to protect it from any damage which may occur during transport.
Magneti Marelli shall not be liable for damage which may occur during transport.
A copy of sales receipt must be sent with products under warranty.
The repaired part will be returned carriage forward.
Exclusion
Warranty does not cover deterioration or damage caused to A/C recharging and diagnosing “ALASKA
PREMIUM/HFO” units used under working conditions other than those specied by the manufacturer.
Other cases not covered by this warranty are:
• Damage caused by transport due to insufcient packaging
• Improper use of the product
• Lightening, oods, re
• Faulty installation or maintenance
• Mechanical damage
• Setting carried out by unauthorized Centers
• Repair and/or modication carried out by unauthorized Centers
• Damage caused by violence or humidity, dust, voltage surge or other abnormal conditions
• Use in unsuitable environments
• Damage to the display
• Any other condition for which Magneti Marelli could not be held directly liable
If the product sent for repair is not covered by warranty this will be notied to the customer who will
then be free to call for the work to be done outside the warranty and will be charged with the cost of
the repair. If a request for a repair under the warranty proves unjustied, a charge will be made
for Magneti Marelli’s investigation costs.
